When I was still on the road, Florida DOT said if they saw "Not For Hire" on a truck, they stopped it to check it. Said it usually meant they were doing something wrong.
Great to see you finally got the new truck , a few small blemishes are to be expected and are repairable , I'm happy for you guys and you both seem to be much more relaxed , even Lita was grinning .
Honestly I feel your joy, your pain, frustration, giddiness, patience, happiness, and all. This channel is truly a partner co-pilot living and breathing buddy!
Love it! The new truck looks great, too! You’ll have it paid off in no time. 2024 is going to be a great year, Robert & Lita! Stay positive and be safe. 🏍🇺🇸🎒

Excellent guys. its like towing a brick behind you.. hauling those little 20ft containers are the same way. glad your heading home and all is going great so far.. Till the next fun time fun vid.. take care you two..
I'm old trucker and that's me Wife asked me if that was my dad Life is to short for bullshit Love your videos keep the good work Don't know how you do it all God bless you Wife and pup,s
The APU isn't wired correctly if it is running when the truck is running, sort of. Put a separate switch for the APU on the dash so you can start and stop it. I had my APU wired to kick on when I cut the truck off, but I could just cut the APU off from the dash without getting in the sleeper. If my a/c wasn't working in the truck I could turn run my APU going down the road while driving. It is a way to do that, maybe it is set that way now.
This video scared the hell out of me. When the screen went dark and I heard Richard talking and the winch making the groaning sounds, i just knew someone was going to jump out with a chainsaw ! Sounded just like a low budget horror flick! I almost thought it was a halloween prank! It was weird! Cracked - but crazy good! Enjoyed it!
Hi robert , i think when you tow a truck backwardd the exhaust stack should be covered to keep air from going in to keep the turbo from spinning with no oil flow , im not sure when u actually towed the.mack but if ur not.home yet u might wanna check into that . Congrats on newer truck hope everything works out on the tow 👍 🇺🇸
Truck looks good. I ran a W-9 kw years ago across the coast and she ran decent. By the way you ever have a low voltage code code on that Mack. I got a 2008 Mack and it’s throwing a low voltage code. Let me know. Be safe out there. Jason.
I know it's all done now--but chain both of those rear axles up as tight as possible before you pick it up at all. Put that tow bar down atgainst he bottom lip on the back of the Mack frame--as you pick up--it will ride up a little on the frame rails. You don't want i t uder that towbar--what if you have a panic stop?
thats a walker ww20 tow unit. both axles should be chained up. the red bar on that tow unit is meant to be up against the end of your mack's frame. not hanging your truck from it. it is also meant to have two safety chains from your kw to the mack. i wish you all the good luck possible with the new kenworth.
Congrats, I'm looking for a similar truck. I will get the DPF system cleaned at a Diesel Force Alternative franchise near my house. There is a reason the mega carriers sell them at that mileage. After the cleaning I'm gonna run the max mileage fuel catalyst.
This very thing right here, was so costly and took so much time. Its the very reason my stress and patients wouldn't let me do this for a living. I knew you'd pull through it though. With the new rig you should be able do some catching up over the winter.
the tri pac has a fuse for the key, it is missing or the other people have the wiring harness unplugged, it should go off with the key in the on position, most installations it will be near the fuse panel by your foot,
FYI that lady didn’t just go to inspect your truck n drive it forward/backward. She went to AirTag that shit for the bank, you can bet on that my guy…!
Nice Truck very nice and a good price. It would have been good to Put your old truck on your trailer and have the new truck tow it home and I understand why you didn't do that. Excellent video. Keep em coming.
My Buddy a Mack Rebuilder took all the tires off put them on the upper deck and there was 8" to spare. He used a Rotator to winch it on and pulled all the tires off he has also a new set of Mack Injectors he may donate to Robert and a Head all in the Box. He is a Mack and Peterbilt rebuilder for 40 years and the Head and Injectors did not cost him anything. They come with a Nationwide warranty for 100k miles. A while back he got accused for selling new Macks when he only sold remanufactured Macks the State of Louisiana came in to Bust him and he pulled every rebuild book on all the Macks with photos to show and receipt's on what was done. He restored them to Factory new. He has over a Hundred penicales in stock with a full warranty. He is the biggest rebuilder in Louisiana and Mack uses his services on Trade In's to service and inspect them. Been dealing with him for 40 years as an Independent Claims manager. Only 3 complaints I know of and they were minor. He is the only Fire Truck rebuilder in the State. @@RimdarRanch
Your truck looks a lot like mine. Main differences is I have the large windows for the bottom bunk area which my dogs love being able to look out and bark at other truckers. Even if the ECU calculated the fuel accurately, your APU is using fuel also. Every day I start out, my fuel gauge reads lower and gradually equalizes. I assume it's because the APU is drawing from the passenger side tank.
Those ramps are used with a RGN lowboy type trailer. Save them. The KW are great trucks! You got the ISX? I don't know much about them. But everyone I know says they are great engines, but they are even better after you do an in-frame on it.
Listening to him talk was the most entertaining thing I have heard in a while.

Anyway you could have put the mack on the trailer to take it home in one trip instead of two?
Mack is too tall for the trailer
@@happypappy6371 I would have taken the wheels off
@@hillbillybeerdranker6678 Then you have needed a lot of blocking to set the truck on and would still be too tall
@@happypappy6371 His trailer is a step deck, the truck wouldn't be up that high.
@@hillbillybeerdranker6678 Max legal is 13' 6. The truck is real close to that. Add 3 ft for the trailer. Would be over height.
