Death’s special eye makeup comes later. Neil Gaiman has mentioned lots of times that when she first appears in the comic book, she doesn’t have it. In Tumblr he said this: “Death doesn't do the eye of Horus make-up (it's make up, not a tattoo) until Season of Mists.”
Combining these both issues literally tells a new story: It needs death (and a good whisky ;) )to make the most powerful in the universe (on the planet?) realize what really matters: Friendship!
I believe when Death is talking about “the prodigal” she is referring to Destruction.
Yeap.

Oh I see, okay thanks for the info. Good to know :)
This is one of my most favorite episodes of tv I've ever seen. i have rewatched too many times already this past week.
Desire is played by Mason Alexander Park who’s nonbinary and they did a GREAT job as Desire!! Can’t wait to see their character in future seasons
I can't wait to see him back as Desire, absolutely phenomenal performance.
I think it was awesome that they decided to meld the two issues together as Death shows up in both of them.
My man Dream just wants to feed the birds
And have an existential crisis at the same time, no biggie :)
Destiny
Death
Dream
Desire and Despair
Destruction - The Prodigal
Delirium formerly Delight.

Very good assessment. I agree!
This is my favorite episode for sure. Death is my new favorite.
Her performance was fantastic.
