Dodger relievers do it far too often, and it costs the team big time. Keep your blood pressure meds close Dodger fans, these guys are pretty much what we'll see in the playoffs, good and bad.
We don't have a pitching problem, we have a pitching epidemic. Doesn't matter if Sho gets 50-50, our entire bullpen and SOME starting pitchers should be replaced with Triple A pitchers. If you're going to be conceding that many runs every game, might as well let the Triple A lads taste the majors while you're at it.
Well, they've been getting pounded, the pen is used way too much because no one seems to go more than 4 or 5 innings. Yet, they just held ATL to 2 and 0 runs in their previous 2 outings. First off, congratulations to Shohei Ohtani for hitting the home-run on the 3rd inning to get a 2-run homerun and getting his 48-48 record. Second, Roberts, why are you getting Miller on the pitch all these while? Is there some specifics in his contract that you must get him to play on the field for a specific percentage of games? I feel like Miller is not capable of being consistent, a lot of the hitters have gotten some good knowledge on his pitching style and have consistently adapt to counter him, and score hits and runs easily. In fact, most of the fielders seemed to have trouble catching the balls beyond the bases, and it feels like I'm watching a minor league. You are like the Chelsea of the MLB, paying high wages for athletes with nothing but disappointment on display. Do something about your pitchers, this is beyond atrocious to lose against the Marlins who are not in contention even. I expect better, but eh, people have started questioning if match fixing could be a recurring theme here.
