Where in the Bible that God change Saturday to Sunday give me scriptures on this that Sunday is worship day why do Sunday say sun god look up Sunday I believe John 14:15 you love me keep my Commandments . More chapters In The New Testament talk about the commandment explain1john5:3 and matthew19:17-19 Luke4:16 talking about the sabbath, Matthew talking about the Commandments
But the book of genesis was written by Moses a Levite from the tribe of Israel. Why did god give this information to Moses of Israel and not to everyone? If it’s for everyone.
@@harolddawkins5993 god never created Saturday or Sunday.. you won’t find those words in the Bible. Satan and the devils gave the world Saturday and Sunday
@@annelhearttugadi8229 this is why people should only speak when spoken too. There is no reference to the current calendar system which isn’t lunar. The Bible speaks to of timelines based on a lunar calendar. Do your research on calendar systems. You should understand that there is no Saturday in the Bible or Sunday. “Saturday “ is not sabbath day but Saturn day. That’s were you gotta do you Greco-Roman history. Then you will understand what we know as Saturday today wasn’t always Saturday as you know it. There were once only 10 months in the early Gregorian calendar.. tho the Bible clearly shows a 12 month year. You need to do your studies before you talk to someone who wasn’t talking to you.
"Therefore anyone who sets aside one of the least of these commands [the ten commandments] and teaches others accordingly will be called least in the kingdom of heaven, but whoever PRACTICES and TEACHES these commands [the ten commandments] will be called great in the kingdom of heaven" (Matt 5:19).
Exactly... that is why it is important for each and everyone of us to search the scriptures. God created earth in 6 days which is from sunday to friday and He rested on the seventh which is Saturday. He blessed and sanctified it and called it His Holy day. Thank you Jesus, Lord of the Sabbath👑🙌🙏
The Ten Commandments are not only for the Jews, and not only was it written on two stone tablets, they were given way before the event on Mount Sinai. In the beginning , The lord blessed the Sabbath on the seventh day... the Sabbath is the Forth Commandment. Satan sinned, and what is sin? Transgression of the Law “Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.” - 1 John 3:4 Satan coveted the throne of God... and Coveting is the Tenth Commandment... One question, if the Commandments were given after Mount Sinai, does that mean that Abraham, And the rest of the inhabitants of the world, were they able to Kill? Commit Adultery? You see, it’s illogical to say that there wasn’t a law.. because SIN IS THE TRANGRESSION OF THE LAW!!!! Another thing, Read Hebrews chapter 8, it explains the divinity of the Heavenly sanctuary, a true sanctuary that is in heaven and not the earthly tabernacle.... “A minister of the sanctuary, and of the true tabernacle, which the Lord pitched, and not man. For every high priest is ordained to offer gifts and sacrifices: wherefore it is of necessity that this man have somewhat also to offer. For if he were on earth, he should not be a priest, seeing that there are priests that offer gifts according to the law: Who serve unto the example and shadow of heavenly things, as Moses was admonished of God when he was about to make the tabernacle: for, See, saith he, that thou make all things according to the pattern shewed to thee in the mount.” - Hebrews 8:2-5 You see, now that we know this, let’s go to Exodus... The sanctuary was divided into three parts, the outside which is the court-yard, the holy place, and the most holy place.... “And there I will meet with thee, and I will commune with thee from above the mercy seat, from between the two cherubims which [are] upon the ark of the testimony, of all [things] which I will give thee in commandment unto the children of Israel.” - Exodus 25:22 So now, we know that the ark of the covenant had the Ten Commandments in it!! OKAY!!! so it’s obvious that there’s a replica of that one in heaven because the earthly one is a shadow of the true Tabernacle in heaven... Overall God says, “if ye love me, keep my Commandments” - John 14:15 MORE SPECIFICALLY, The Sabbath, God’s instituted day since the creation has been presumably stomped on from the past few decades... The Bible perhaps best describes the Sabbath in Exodus 20:8-11 it is the fourth commandment, it is the only commandment that begins with the word REMEMBER. You cannot remember something unless you have heard it before. As a result, the Sabbath must have been given before The event on Mount Sinai. A more further study of the Bible indicates that the Sabbath was given at Creation, in Genesis 1. But back to the topic... “And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time.” Daniel 7:25 So if you read Daniel 7:25 it clearly states that this horn/power will act like God, and come on, be realistic right now, who says that they are like God? Who says that they’re like the most High? THE PAPACY!!!!! It’s so easy.... and what day do they worship on? SUNDAYY? Which if you consider the term of the day it says SUN-DAY, DAY OF THE SUN... ITS SUN WORSHIP BROTHER... and the Holy SABBATH is the true day of worship, and so if the beast is going to change times and laws, obviously it would change God’s commandments, this includes the Sabbath, therefore, through the Bible itself and through our present days, WE KNOW, that Sunday is the make of the beast, SUNDAY is the day where you shall be falsely taken into captivity through your mind and body, to worship the mark of the beast, The beast himself you shall be worshiping.... So now, who shall you worship?, God almighty by obeying his commandments INCLUDING the sabbath, or Satan, through his malicious plots to lead you into falsely worshipping Him? Bruh I wish people could just open their eyes and see for themselves... and so now the final conflict in this history of humanity will be God’s Holy Sabbath, and Satans National Sunday Law... As a result, We as the remanent of Christ shall be Persecuted for not worshipping the beast, if you don’t understand, let give you an example take into consideration Daniel, Didnt Nabuchadnezzer demand Daniel and his Friends, TO WORSHIP A FALSE IMAGE, A IMAGE OF SOMETHING ABOMINABLE UNTO GOD.... you see, in Daniels time it was easy to recognize that you shouldn’t do it or accept it, because it was right in front of their eyes, it was literal, & so how much more deceitful can Satan be now to trick you into thinking you’re worshipping God but in reality you’re not... National Sunday Law is at the door, all your life you’ve thought that you’ve been worshipping God in the right day, but unfortunately you haven’t, sorry but it’s true... Look at what Revelation says “Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.” - Revelation 22:14 “And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.” - Revelation 12:17 WOW HOW CLEAR IS THE BIBLE!!!! Satan is in wrath with those who keep God’s Ten Commandments, And he HATES THE SABBATH THE MOST!! Wow, wake up guys, we have to Obey The Lord and not man!!!!! I believe John is talking about the Day of the Lord when Jesus comes back as He was given this revelation from God to share with us. Lord’s day= Day of the Lord not Sunday Sabbath. Peter uses the words in 2 Peter for the day of the Lord also as the Day of God which clearly has nothing to do with the Sabbath day just but of the coming of Christ Jesus our Lord ! Amen Amen!
@@Ecclesiastices Great wording. I am currently investigating this matter. I have personally believed that the Sabbath has been done away by the cross of Christ. I am still studying this topic and have not come to conclusion yet. What i do not understand is where the SDA (excuse me for compartmentalizing) gets that the Mark of the Beast is Sunday worship. There is no explanation of how people wont be able to buy or sell. There is also no direct correlation between forehead and right hand. No scriptural referencing or supporting. Don't mean to shoot you down, but I am seriously investigating this matter as me and my family WILL keep the Sabbath as per the word of God if the Word of God says so. Especially my heart being convicted of this in the last couple of weeks. Anything that cannot be proven I will be rejecting. As brother's in Christ, we need to all understand this and come to an agreement on this. One Holy Spirit should lead us to one agreement. I have a question for you: If I am in NZ, surely God's perfect time would be connected to His creation time. How do I properly as per the Word of God keep the Sabbath in relation to: 1. Know exactly the date. Who has preserved these dates and can they be verified? If you have this info can you please send to me :) 2. Do we all have to sync to the 'Garden of Eden' location time? As we know the world has different time frame based on the earth' position to the sun. I believe this is sun-worhips. God's calendar is based on the moon around the earth rather. Is the Sabath in NZ per say 10 hours ahead of South Africa? Sorry for being so technical, but God is a God of detail and perfection. If you have info on this I would please ask that you help me out on this. 3. When does a day exactly start and finish. As per 2 above it would be important to follow this to the second. If the above is not important, then it does not matter if its celebrated on Monday or Friday for that matter. I am honestly asking the above question in love. I really want to know this without a denomination twang to it. I have left my 'denomination' feeling, biased and all other things out and dont want to be evangelized by any other denomination, just truth which will set us all free. We can live and breath as true sons of God as the Word prophesies.
THE SABBATH OF THE NEW COVENANT This information is being written because we as Christians are living in a very peculiar time. In these last days prior to the return of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, there is such confusion among so many well meaning and Christian-minded people, and one great point of confusion and contention is regarding the Sabbath. I have personally been confronted by people who condemned me and my ministry because I did not keep the Sabbath the way they were trying to keep it. There is extremism in any belief system, and that extremism occurs when proponents of a belief system do not accept the whole council of God. In this tract, we will look at the whole council of God on the subject of the Sabbath, which will bring forth a clear understanding of what it is and how it must be kept. We will now go back to the origin of the Sabbath at the time of the creation as told at the beginning of the book of Genesis. In Genesis 2:1-3 we read, "Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them. And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made. And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made." One thing that should be immediately noticed is that all of the preceding six days end with the following words, "And the evening and the morning were the (1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, or 6th) day." We do not find these words of finality or summation ending the seventh day, because in a perfect world, everyday thereafter would be a condition of Sabbath or rest and repose. That day was open-ended! Only sin could take away that condition of Sabbath or rest that was meant for everyday, and sadly, that is exactly what happened. Later, we will see how our Lord Jesus restored the perpetual and continual Sabbath to our souls. The first time we see the word "Sabbath" is in the book of Exodus, and in Exodus 20:8-11, we find that it is given as one of the Ten Commandments as follows: "Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days shalt thou labor, and do all thy work: But the seventh day is the Sabbath of the Lord thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates: For in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day, and hallowed it." One primary point that must be noted regarding the Sabbath commandment is that it has nothing to do with going to church! It has only to do with the cessation from work. Nothing more and nothing less. Sinful man was ordered to do nothing on the seventh day. Thus, one day each week he would not be out there committing sin after sin after sin. It was a "do nothing" day, established as such until the Savior would come to give us victory over sin every day of the week and establish rest for our souls by his spirit dwelling within. This could be made possible only through a New Covenant established by the blood of the Lamb of God! The Old Testament is replete with examples of Sabbath commandments, but in every example, it is under the Old Covenant of a single day of rest, which by the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ has given way to a Sabbath, where every day is one where we cease from our old works. The Old Covenant, according to Hebrews 8:13, is no more! It reads as follows: "In that he saith, a New Covenant, he hath made the first old. Now that which decayeth and waxeth old is ready to vanish away." In Galatians 3:24-25, we are exhorted "Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith. But after that faith is come, we are NO LONGER UNDER THE SCHOOLMASTER." Thus, the law could lead us to Christ but no further! Those who think that they are keeping the Sabbath as a day must remember that James 2:10 says, "For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all." The only one who has ever kept the Sabbath perfectly is Jesus Christ. Man cannot do what He did in keeping the law. The Lord Jesus took the law to Calvary as well as the sin of the world. It was there that the law and all transgressions met, and He bore the sin of many. See Isaiah 53. Is there a Sabbath after Calvary? Yes! Hebrews 4:9-10 says, "There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God. For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his." There are two words not found in those verses, "Sabbath" and "day." It is because our rest is no longer a calendar day each week, but every day, which includes the seventh, and thus we keep the Sabbath by living a godly and blood-washed life every day. For we have ceased from our old works. Some people who haven't come to an understanding of what covenant they are under will point out that Paul often went into the synagogues on the Sabbath. If we look at those incidents, however, we see that it was to bring those who hear out of the synagogue and that system of death. Here is what Paul the Apostle said about the seventh day as found in Romans 14:5-6: "One man esteemeth one day above another, another esteemeth every day alike. Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind. He that regardeth the day, regardeth it unto the Lord, and he that regardeth not the day, to the Lord he doth not regard it." We know that the Sabbath law is fulfilled in Jesus Christ and He abides within us. The seventh day Sabbath was not eliminated but fulfilled, and our Savior added six more days to that rest and gave us the timelessness of eternal life. Thus, the seventh day is kept holy with all the other days. We can worship our Lord any day and every day. We know that Sunday is not the Sabbath but rather one of seven days, any of which can be used for worship. Acts 20:7 says, "And upon the first day of the week, when the disciples came together to break bread, Paul preached unto them, ready to depart on the morrow; and continued his speech until midnight." It is my humble prayer that all who read this will realize the joy of keeping all seven days of the week holy and thus fulfill the sacred commandment; for it is not our works but the finished work of Christ that has established the eternal timeless Sabbath of the New Covenant by the power of His blood. Nowhere in the Bible do you see anyone worshipping on Sunday, Jew or Christian. Just because they met occasionally to break bread on Sunday does not indicate that the day of worship was changed to Sunday.
No but it does say... Daniel 7:25 He shall speak words against the Most High, and shall wear out the saints of the Most High, and shall think to change the times and the law; and they shall be given into his hand for a time, times, and half a time
The Lord of the sabbath yes, but does not make it the lords day. It is separate. Let me explain, Jesus is saying he is the Lord of the sabbath. Which is to keep the sabbath holy on Saturday because it refers to when he rested by making the world. The Lords day is referring to the resurrection, not the rest day
@@mavicpro3289 no, the day of Christ's resurrection was "The Feast of Frist Fruits", which is why He is the first fruits of the resurrection. (1 Corinthians 15:20). "The Day of the Lord", refers to the day of Christ's return, and the Lord's day is His holy Sabbath.

A very important point overlooked in today's church is the true meaning of the 4th Commandment. The Sabbath Commandment is about Christ, His 7 Feast Work equals our Eternal Sabbath Rest. Looking at Exodus 16, we see twice the Manna from Heaven given on Friday, the sixth day, why? so the people of God could have their 7th Day, Sabbath Rest. Even the land had twice the crops in the 6th year, so the people of God could have their 7th Year Sabbath Rest. In John 6, we see Jesus referring to Himself as being the Manna from Heaven, the Bread of Life, He Himself actually even being Born in Bethlehem, meaning House of Bread. The Messiah was Crucified on Friday, the sixth day, so the people of God could have their Eternal 7th Day Sabbath Rest. His Work equals our Eternal Sabbath Rest. We can't work our way to Heaven. The Sabbath Commandment is the Gospel.
@@keithelrod777 Faith without works is dead. We must obey God's commandments (the 10 commandments), if we truly love Him and others. Find me a Bible verse that says the Sabbath is now on the 1st day of the week.
@Khushi Raw Jesus said the two greatest commandments are to love God and love others as ourselves. So, by following the 10 commandments, we _are_ doing both. The 10 commandments are the *moral* law, they were never done away with. I hope you realize that by claiming that we don't have to keep the 10 commandments, you are saying that it's now okay to worship other gods, use God's name in vain, lie, commit adultery, steal, murder, etc.
Well.in the begin of time the sabbath was introduced in the begin of creation, Genesis 2:3 And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God had made. Ezekiel 20:20 And hallow my sabbaths; and they shall be a sign between me and you, that ye may know that I am the LORD your God. Even in the 10 commandments, it said in Psalms 89:34 My covenant will I not break, nor alter the thing that is gone out of my lips, even in the 4 commandments it said Exodus 20:8-10 Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work: But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates:. Q- Why do we observe sunday instead of saturday??? A- We observe Sunday instead of Saturday because the catholic church in the council of laodicea A.D. 336 transferred the solominity from Saturday to Sunday and the person behind this was the Roman emperor Constantine who was a sun worshiper who was jealous and really didn't like the Jews made is own rule and power to neglect from the bible that Saturday became Sunday law to the Catholic church who were sun worshiper. Sunday has nothing to do with rising of our heavenly father
Catholics changed the Sabbath to Sunday! Man did this! God said remember the Sabbath and keep it Holy! So from sun down of Friday to sun down on Saturday is the Sabbath! Gen 2:1-3 - Sabbath was instituted at Creation • Ex 16:4-30 - The Sabbath was known and kept before explicitly given in the law • Ex 20:8-11 - The Sabbath is part of God’s law which doesn’t change (Matt 5:17-20) • Neh 13:22 - The Sabbath was kept by God’s people in the Old Testament • Jer 17:21-22 - The Sabbath was kept by God’s people in the Old Testament • Luke 4:16 - Jesus kept the Sabbath • Acts 13:42-44 - The disciples/early church keep the Sabbath • Acts 17:1-2 - The disciples/early church keep the Sabbath • Matt 24:20 - Jesus speaking about the future and times before Jesus’ 2nd coming, mentions that the Sabbath still holds • Rev 14:12 - God’s people in the end times will keep the Sabbath as part of the law • Isaiah 66:22-23 - God’s people will keep the Sabbath in heaven • Ez 20:12,20 - The Sabbath is a sign to know and show that God sanctifies us and is our God • Luke 23:52-24:2 - All acknowledge Jesus died on the Friday, was in the grave on Saturday and rose on Sunday. The preparation day was Friday, Sabbath is Saturday, and the first day of the week is Sunday There is no Scriptural evidence for the Sabbath being changed from the 7th day Saturday to Sunday (the 1st day of the week). God has blessed the 7th day Sabbath (Gen 2:3, Ex 20:11) though no blessing has been specifically given for Sunday. Keeping Sunday holy was an institution made by humanity and not God. Jesus says that it is possible to worship God without meaning (Matt 15:9). Jesus wants us to obey the commandments of God instead of tradition (Mark 7:9) and to worship as He has asked. God deserves our worship every day of the week, though there is one specific day that God has set apart for corporate worship. It is the 7th day Sabbath that is sanctified and given for our rest (Lev 23:3). God knew the future though, and foretold that an entity will attempt to change God’s times and law (Dan 7:24-25) or His Sabbath and commandments. God invites us to show our love for Him by keeping His commandments (John 14:15) and experience rest and delight in His Sabbath
Additionally, Jesus, his disciples and for the first 300 years of the Christian faith everyone treated Saturday as the sabbath. Then Constantine came along, declared his army as Christian and changed the sabbath to Sunday because it was an easier transition for his pagan army who already worshiped the sun god on Sunday (which is the root of the word Sunday). Not a single scripture or pre Nicene early church father switched the day of Sabbath to Sunday, not one. Then the birth of Catholicism happened and they championed this change and passed it on to the protestants.

You see, it’s illogical to say that there wasn’t a law.. because SIN IS THE TRANGRESSION OF THE LAW!!!! Hopefully you understood Brothers, don’t be hard headed, accept God’s truth and teach it to others, be pure to yourself and overall God.... God Bless!!!! It seems that the Lord gave the seventh day to people in Genesis 2:1-3, long before worship services were held and Sabbath laws were given. He indeed blessed that day in particular and made it holy, "because on it God rested [ceased] from all His work that He had done in creation." So it seems the specialness of that seventh day begins with the ceasing from our own labors. Since this was pre-Law, it does not seem like a law that we can set aside as being part of an older covenant (now that we have a new one), as some indicate below. In Ezekiel 20:12, the Lord said He gave us the Sabbaths to remind us that He has sanctified us, as He did with the seventh day.
The "Lord" day is the day the Lord himself said he is Lord of .In Exodus 20 :10 the Lord called the seven day the sabbath of the Lord. In Malachi 3 :6.God said ,"I change not." So the sabbath day should and must still be kept by christians today. IT IS STILL BINDING!
Thsabbath day is the only commandment that God said remember to keep it holy , it's like the lord God knows the devil will change it ,that's why he said (remember to keep the sabbath day holy )the catholic church comes up with all the lies to change it for their intereste .. I wander how many lies the catholic church have been telling over the years
@@lleange363 was the sabbath ever changed to Sunday?? The sabbath was made for man…for everyone…the Bible warns us of a power that will rise up and change his laws and times…history has proved this correct… with Rome giving its power to the Catholic Church…Sunday worship is coming…so read your Bible and find your truth. Jesus said if you love me keep my commandments…all 10 not 9. Breaking one of the commandments is breaking them all. God bless bro
Christ did not change the law, but came to fulfill it! Sunday worship came 300 years after the death and resurrection of Christ, when Constatine changed the law. But this had nothing to do with Jesus changing the Sabbath from the 7th day to the 1st. He honored the Sabbath on the 7th day throughout his entire life, while teaching that we are to obey the law completely. 💜
When is the true sabbath? We must follow the Hebrew calendar to know the true sabbath day. The 7th day of the week is the true sabbath. The Gregorian calendar (which the majority of population use) does not line up with the Hebrew calendar. Our lives run on Roman time. Birthdays, wedding anniversaries, and public holidays are regulated by Pope Gregory XIII’s Gregorian Calendar, which is itself a modification of Julius Caesar’s calendar introduced in 45 B.C. The names of our months are therefore derived from the Roman gods, leaders, festivals, and numbers. If you’ve ever wondered why our 12-month year ends with September, October, November, and December - names which mean the seventh, eighth, ninth, and tenth months - you can blame the Romans. The days of the week are named after the sun god, the moon god and Tuesday-Saturday are named after Nordic gods. This was a design to conceal the true sabbath that we are to keep holy. Let’s face it, God did not name the days of the week in the Bible, He numbered them. With that being said, the 7th day of the week changes on a monthly basis due to the appearance of the first crescent of the new moon which establishes the first day of the month. The true sabbath can be Saturday, Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday, etc because of the day that the 1st day of the month on the Hebrew calendar occurs. This has created lies, confusion, and arguments regarding which day to recognize and keep holy along with not knowing when a true year of jubilee is. I recommend keeping a Hebrew calendar available so you will know when the true sabbath is.
Wrong! The earliest _clear_ reference to Sunday worship is found in the _Epistle of Barnabas_ (c.120), I which the writer says: “Your present sabbaths are not acceptable to Me… we keep the eighth day with joyfulness, the day also on which Jesus rose again from the dead”. Note the antisemitism already creeping into the church. Justin Martyr (c.140) wrote of “memoirs of the apostles” being read on “the day called that of the sun” alongside the “writings of the prophets” ( _First Apology_ 67). Many others also wrote of Christian worship on Sundays well before the 4th century; and of other Christians who continued to worship on Saturdays. Conspiracists - especially from the SDA - love to blame Constantine and the Roman Catholic Church for changing the sabbath from Saturday to Sunday when, in fact, the change from sabbath observance to Sunday worship began centuries before either existed. Although Constantine made Sunday the official Roman day of rest (in 321AD), doing so merely facilitated what was by then a widespread, centuries-old, majority Christian preference in the western Roman Empire for worshiping on Sundays.
No where in the new testament did God change the Sabbath from Saturday to Sunday... The disciples kept the sabbath Acts 17:2 Acts 18:1-4 Even the Greeks ( non jews) kept the Sabbath. Revelation 1:10 The Lord's day refers to the Sabbath... The catholic church openly confesses that it is they that changed the Sabbath
WITH all due respect, love, and charity. Remember the Sabbath day, I am Lord of the Sabbath. Its a picture of the millennium. The Lords day is the seventh day. And if you turn the foot from from doing your own things and remember my Sabbath I shall cause you to ride upon the tops of the mountains......You shall be called repairers of the breach. ..
@@ginomafio9601 The 6 days you shall labour and do all your work, but the 7th Day Sabbath we are Commanded to rest from our labour as GOD did from His and its the Day of worship which we will keep in the new Heavens and new earth “For as the new heavens and the new earth Which I will make shall remain before Me,” says the Lord , “So shall your descendants and your name remain. And it shall come to pass That from one New Moon to another, And from one Sabbath to another, All flesh shall come to worship before Me,” says the Lord . “And they shall go forth and look Upon the corpses of the men Who have transgressed against Me. For their worm does not die, And their fire is not quenched. They shall be an abhorrence to all flesh.” Isaiah 66:22-24 NKJV
Most socalled 7th day Sabbath keepers don't know the difference between 'day' 🌞 and 🌃 night let alone when YHWH ELOHIM's true 7th 'DAY' SABBATH 'DAY' really is, and isn't. "The New Moon 🌒 is still and the Sabbath Originally was Dependant upon the Lunar Cycle..." ("Holidays" Universal Jewish Encyclopedia p.410). And God said, "LET there be Light 🕯️" and He called the 'Light' 'Day'. And the Jews have rules about what they can't do in the dark 🌑. Just goes to show you that their god Kronos/Saturn 🪐 is the god of the dark.
Why would you say God changed it. There's nowhere in the bible that says He did. You proved that point. However history shows the ruler of Rome who was *saved changed the Sabbath to Sunday to distract or entice the pagans who on that day were worshipping their SunGod, on Sunday.
Acts 20:7 And upon the first day of the week, when the disciples came together to break bread, Paul preached unto them, ready to depart on the morrow; and continued his speech until midnight. Pentecost may also refer to the 50 days from Easter to Pentecost Sunday inclusive of both. Because Easter itself has no fixed date, this makes Pentecost a moveable feast. ... Since Pentecost itself is on a Sunday, it is automatically considered to be a public holiday in countries with large Christian denominations. The church was started on a Sunday. Christ rose on a Sunday and the Holy Spirit came on a Sunday to Baptist the church Although we are no longer under the law we can worship God any day we choose
@Providence OPC-Bradenton Amen! The Book of Hebrews establishes the Superiority of Jesus Christ! New High Priest, New Covenant, New Law and Christ Jesus is our Sabbath. The Fulfillment of Old Testament prophecies!
@tmc1373 I agree with you, but can't you answer the implications of his question better than this? We need better more fuller answers so that we can actually reach millions of Protestants Catholics Orthodoxs
But yashua says in the New Testament he did not come to change or do away with the law nothing changed when Messiah came to be crucified except sacrificial law
The apostles did at times observe sabbath saturday and priests even became obedient to the faith in Acts . Acts 13:15 KJ21 And after the reading from the Law and the Prophets, the rulers of the synagogue sent unto them, saying, "Ye men and brethren, if ye have any word of exhortation for the people, say on." Acts 6:7 KJ21 And the Word of God increased; and the number of the disciples multiplied in Jerusalem greatly, and a great company of the priests were obedient to the faith.
The Sabbath did not change. Hebrews 4: 8-10 For if Jesus had given them rest, then would he not afterward have spoken of another day. There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God. For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his. Who are God's people in the New Covenant? Galatians 3:28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is no male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.
Also, regarding the prophesied destruction of Jerusalem, Messiah told His followers to pray that they would not have to flee in the winter or on the Sabbath. Messiah always upheld all of the Torah. If you think it was just the Sabbath, see Psalm 119 Ministries, maybe starting with The Pauline Paradox. Or better yet see what Messiah said Himself about the Law and the prophets.
Everyone needs to see the Definition of Fulfill. It does not mean to pause or get rid of, it means to observe or carry out as required. Which is why Jesus said twice in the same verse he did not come to Abolish it. But to “Observe” it. “As was his custom”. Jesus said he does not do anything unless his father commands him to, which is why he said he did not break the 10 commandments and taught on every Sabbath, as did Paul in Acts on 4 different Sabbath days mentioned.
The kjv says that in Hebrews 4 if he had changed the sabbath day he would of told us so. It says that the sabbath day remains. God did not change the sabbath which is from Friday sunset to Saturday sunset. The sabbath is always Saturday. Sunday is worshipping the sun Mark 2:27 say that the sabbath was made for man. Revelation 1 ljv John was in the sprite on the Lord's day.
@Khushi Raw The 4th commandment is: 8 Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy. 9 Six days shalt thou labor, and do all thy work: 10 But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates: 11 For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it. - Exodus 20 If the sabbath was not important, God wouldn't have said, Remember it!! Nor would He have hallowed it!
@Khushi Raw The sabbath day is rest, physical rest in Yahshua. please could 3 days and 3 nights from friday 3pm see if it checks out. till sunday...it dont!!! LIES. church lies.
"You may read through the whole Bible from Gen.-Rev. and you will not find a single line authorizing the sanctification of Sunday. The scriptures enforce the religious observation of Saturday, a day which we [the Catholic Church] never sanctify. The Catholic church, by virtue of her divine mission changed the day from Saturday to Sunday. The Church is above the Bible and this transference of Sabbath observance is proof of that" -The Catholic Church Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus. -Revelation 14:12 Who will you all submit to? The Pope or God?
We must all “work out our own salvation with fear and trembling.” May we be gracious to take into account (as God does) the many believers in countries with no place to worship, those in hospitals and the homebound with no way to worship or take communion, and those on the streets who are seeking Jesus. In fact, serving these people on whatever day we consider the Sabbath - would that not be the sweetest sacrifice to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ? May we not break the Lord’s Sabbath Day by arguing on whatever day He’s set in our hearts to do so, but edify, love each other, and glorify the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. May we also be blessed and so grateful with the means God has given us today, and not depend solely on history, but look to the Holy Spirit for individual guidance. Finally, let us take care before we cast judgment on this matter, for “we will all one day stand before the Throne of Grace.” God bless. 🕊

@@Xev729 Hi Xavier! In Leviticus 23 there are 7 Feasts/Holy Convocations. These 7 actually make up the Full Gospel Message of Jesus Christ. All 7 are fulfilled. Jesus said in Matthew 5, Verse 17 that He came to fulfill the Law and Prophets. The Law makes up the first Five Books: Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers and Deuteronomy. Jesus Christ fulfilled 100% of the Law, which includes all of Leviticus. I say this because most of today's church teaches that Jesus did not fulfill the Fall Feasts yet. Today's church doesn't realize that the Fall Feasts are for sin and the Spring Feasts are for death. The Full Gospel Message is Jesus conquering sin (Trumpets, Day of Atonement and Tabernacles) and death (Passover, Unleavened Bread, First Fruits and Weeks). Then the very next day after the Feast of Weeks, which was 49 Days, was Day 50, Pentecost, the Day that the Holy Spirit was given!!! Hallelujah!!! The Full Gospel Message is Jesus Christ conquering sin and death and then He sent us the Holy Spirit!!! Hallelujah!!! If you are interested I have several videos on my channel about this topic and others.
I’ve always said God should be worshipped *every day!* I highly doubt anyone is going to Hell for going to church on Sunday, over Saturday, to fellowship & worship God.
Wow. Sabbatarian Judaizers everywhere in the comments. Christ is our rest, making Him our Sabbath; and He is the everlasting day. No earth solar day is the Sabbath after the Law was fulfilled in Christ.
This explanation (in the video) is as good as (I'm afraid) Christian explanations get regarding the Sabbath. Which is to say: The logic is tortured, convoluted, and unscriptural. On the first point: Why make the assumption that when it says "the Lord's Day" in Revelation 1, that it's talking about Sunday or the Sabbath or the "time to do church" or anything like that? If there is any likely connection to be made, it's to the future "Day of the LORD" - the day of the end of all things - which would thematically be appropriate for a book where the author is transported to the events of the last days. To posit that it's referring to the 1st day of the week is a capital-A "Assumption" with no basis whatsoever in the text itself. The video doesn't get much better from there... though it's totally accurate to say that the church has "theologized" the Sabbath, and in my opinion, has done so NOT "helpfully" (1:10), it's not accurate to say this has caused the Sabbath to "pass away" (0:52) for Christians (not really; just in their heads). This is in direct contradiction to what Jesus Himself said (Matt 5:17-20) and what He and His disciples actually did (in the gospels and throughout the book of Acts, respectively) - which is to say, they kept the Sabbath and tended to (even after his death and resurrection) end up in the synagogues on Shabbat. There is no NT evidence that Christians "met for worship" on the 1st day of the week. Funds were collected on the first day - probably Saturday night after Sabbath had ended (because Jews don't conduct business on Shabbat), and in at least one instance - possibly it was habit - they gathered to eat a meal on the 1st day of the week (which also was likely on Saturday night after the Sabbath). On that same occasion, Paul spoke until after midnight (Acts 20). Aside from that, that's about all one can find regarding the 1st day of the week. It's not a new Sabbath, it didn't replace the Sabbath, and mostly it's a monument to the propensity of Christians to misunderstand their Bibles.

Jesus told the Pharisees “Do what is good on the Sabbath day”. Why would he say this establishing the day in front of his Apostles if he was about to Change or end the day right as Christianity would be created? You think Any Jew would convert if Anyone said the 4th commandment was void?
“He disarmed the rulers and authorities and put them to open shame, by triumphing over them in him. Therefore let no one pass judgment on you in questions of food and drink, or with regard to a festival or a new moon or a Sabbath. These are a shadow of the things to come, but the substance belongs to Christ.” Colossians 2:15-17 ESV “One person esteems one day as better than another, while another esteems all days alike. Each one should be fully convinced in his own mind. The one who observes the day, observes it in honor of the Lord. The one who eats, eats in honor of the Lord, since he gives thanks to God, while the one who abstains, abstains in honor of the Lord and gives thanks to God. For none of us lives to himself, and none of us dies to himself. For if we live, we live to the Lord, and if we die, we die to the Lord. So then, whether we live or whether we die, we are the Lord's. For to this end Christ died and lived again, that he might be Lord both of the dead and of the living.” Romans 14:5-9 ESV Hope these help

Wow! I am so impressed with the numbers of Biblical Scholars who are commenting here! I will guess that many are self-appointed. I would just like one person to answer this. Where in the Bible does it specifically say whether "the Sabbath" is Saturday or Sunday? I don't recall either name ever being used, let alone given the title of "Sabbath". Do you consider Sunday as the first day of the week or the seventh? It's been argued since Biblical times and there has never been a definitive determination. Why does it seem to be such a critical issue here?
Jesus magnified the law & made it honorable. He reviewed & restored every commandment of God, which the Holy Spirit writes on our hearts & minds under the new covenant, so that we may say, with His life inside of us, I delight to do Your will, O my God, yes, Your law is within my heart. Isaiah 42:21 Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Psalm 40:6-8, Hebrews 8, & 10. Jesus proclaimed, His mission, at church, on Sabbath: the Spirit of the Lord God is upon Me. Luke 4 Jesus cleansed the temple on Sabbath, twice, overthrowing the money changers' tables, honoring "My Father's house" & the 2nd time He called it His house, a house of prayer for all people, reminding everyone of His words in Isaiah 56:1-8, concerning Sabbath praise. The commandment specifically points out the 7th day of creation being, the Sabbath. Genesis 2 Exodus 20 Jesus rested in the grave on Sabbath, & rose to go back to work, on the 1st day of the week. Hopefully, this helps your Bible study, as it has mine. 💐
The ten commandments say that you shall keep Gods commandment to keep the 6th the Sabbath. I know that Jesus did a lot of things on the Sabbath, but He never commanded us to move the Sabbath to Sunday. Jesus did command us that if you love me you will keep my commandments. So If Jesus never said to worship on Sunday, but did tell us to keep His commandments, Am I following man's rule to worship on Sunday, or am I following God's law to keep His commandments? I haven't found anyone who can answer this. I don't attend church on Sunday because the Commandments say the 6th day. I want to follow Gods law not man's. It's eternity that is at stake!
@Khushi Raw Then the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had told them to go. When they saw him, they worshiped him; but some doubted. Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore **#1** go and make disciples of all nations, **#2** baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and **Especially...#3** teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” & John 12:49 "For I have not spoken of myself; but the Father which sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak." **I'm so tired of the lies and seeing my brothers and sisters being deceived. It seems nothing said to help them does, just turns into an argument, it's causing me great pain** I hope and pray that even just one of you has their eyes and hearts opened and changed from our efforts, blessings to you all.
To all who claim we must observe Saturday as the sabbath, i just have a few questions 1. Does it mean heaven is only dwelt by SDAs only? Cause that is what it will mean, because the rest have broken God's commandment about sabbath keeping . 2. The thief on the cross who told Jesus to remember him in his kingdom was told by Jesus that that day they will be together in paradise. This was on a Friday and Jesus died at the ninth hour(3pm) before the beginning of sabbath (sunset on Friday is when sabbath begins), so my question is, Was the thief not forgiven cause he didn't keep last sabbath because he was found guilty of stealing? I believe the thief was forgiven cause Jesus said so. Jesus didn't even mention anything to do with sabbath for the thief to be saved but because the thief saw his own mistakes and ask forgiveness from christ which he obtained. 3. You claim to keep the sabbath, have you kept it fully? If you say yes, then i ask how you've kept it holy. By not working? Christ said even God is working till this very day. Now have you kept it by your own human effort? That will be deminishing Christ's work which was already finished at the cross. So how do you keep the sabbath holy? Reading the Bible? Or maybe attending the church service? If you believe that's the way, then have you engaged all your mind, strength and desires that day to ensure that you've kept the sabbath holy? If you say yes then i doubt it, to say that the whole 24hrs you've ensured that you've been holy hence you've kept the sabbath. But you may say, keeping the sabbath has nothing to do with my spiritual life, it's about keeping it holy. If i say that you've sinned on the sabbath even though you don't work, will you not be guilty of breaking the sabbath cause the Bible clearly says that if you break one commandment you're guilty of all hence you've broken the sabbath even if you don't work that day . Personally i believe every commandment was kept by Jesus Christ, he came to fulfill the law and by faith in Jesus we've obtain his righteousness. The law was given to show us we are sinners, that we can't keep them by ourselves but Christ did. I also believe we shouldn't work the day we're having a fellowship together either Saturday or Sunday, the type of work i believe is discouraged is business work not a charity work. But again, these are just my thoughts.
It's what the Bible says that counts, not our thoughts. The Father is merciful and understands that many have unwittingly been fooled by traditions of men. But He also says that much is expected from those to whom much is given. You have been given the resources to know when the true Sabbath is.
Mickey Roggers, Heaven will be occupied by law-abiding citizens. Revelation 22:14 says:" Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city." Only those who keep His commandments have the right to enter into the city. Jesus did not tell the thief on the cross that he would be with Him in Paradise that day. The punctuation was put in wrongly by the translators. How do we know? Because firstly the Bible tells us people do not automatically go to heaven when they die. (See Ecclesiastes 9:5,6; Psalm 104:29; Psalm146:4; Ecclesiastes 9:10; Acts2:34 etc). Secondly, Jesus did not go to Paradise on Friday. He rested in the grave on the Sabbath and on the first day when He rose He told Mary "Touch me not: for I am not yet ascended to my Father." (John 20:17) If He hadn't yet ascended, He could not be with the thief in paradise on Friday. Keeping the Sabbath is not something anyone can do on their own for we're all sinners. Any good we do, we do through Christ who dwells in us. Anyone can ask Christ to keep the Sabbath (as well as the other nine commandments) in them. The glory belongs to Him, not to us. The issue is not really about which day we keep. It's about obedience. Romans 6:16 - "Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?" God say "Remember the Sabbath Day to Keep it Holy...the seventh day is the Sabbath of the Lord thy God." Man says ' any day will do'. Whom will you obey?
No where in scripture. The Sunday Sabbath is something rooted in Roman paganism and a representation of religious reaction to the revolt against Hadrian after the Jews were defeated. You are wrong. 1 Corinthians 10 warns of celebrating anything in the name of God rooted in paganism. You can take Easter and Christmass with that too.
Yahweh said the Sabbath Day is Saturday and to keep it holy. Very, very clear commandment from the SOURCE. And in Acts... we see that all of the Apostles continued to attend Saturday synagogue after Jesus had risen.
@@jefflewis4 The sabbath's always falls on the 8th, 15th, 22nd, and 29th. You get these days from scripture. Then you have New Moon day which was a a no commerce day. And it doesn't fall on the man made calendar of Pope Gregory XIII. The Creator literally wrote His calendar in the heavens where man could not alter it. How many times did the Hebrews/Israelite forget the Sabbath because of their backsliding? How did they get it back? The one commandment that starts with remember and nearly everyone forgot it. The answers to the Sabbaths and Feast Days can be read here. creationcalendar.com/pdfPage.html. This is some of the most powerful and detailed research I've seen on the subject. It gets into scripture, Hebrew language/thinking, and secular history. Haven't found anyone that has proven him wrong either. You'll have a good understanding by just reading the first 6 PDF's.
John says he was "in the Spirit on the Lord's day (Revelation 1:10), but nowhere does it state what day of the week that is, i.e. Saturday (the Sabbath of the LORD) or "○Sun-day" (the first day of the working week in the Bible), although some say it could be the prophesied great and terrible "Day of the LORD" at the end of time that he is seeing here, not a regular day of the week. Whichever day it is, the Scriptures are silent, but it certainly does not categorically say "Sun"-day as many assume and teach. The only day of the week that has the word LORD attached to it in Scripture is the 7th day of the week i.e. the SABBATH OF THE *LORD* : This is the only place where the term "Lord's day" appears in the Bible, and there is no place in the whole of the Bible where "Sun"-day or the first day of the week is called the "Lord's Day," but this has been used and applied/implied by ecclesiastical clergy trying to promulgate the notion that somehow in the Bible God or Jesus ever sanctified "Sun"-day as a sanctified 'holy day' in order to replace the Sabbath of the LORD, which of course they never did anywhere in the Bible. To teach that Revelation 1:10 is "Sun"-day is presumption at best and grave error at worst, when there is not a shred of evidence to back up such a shaky claim that undermines the integrity of the Word of God. There is one "Lord's Day" in the Bible and that is the "Sabbath of the LORD"!!
After my vote , the like and dislike ratio is 363:237. This goes on to show how many mainline Christians (including me) are waking up to god's truth about things like Sabbath and many other wonderful things. Almost looks like a ballot box voting. 🙂
In logical sequence: Creation: if 7th day Sabbath given at Creation then it’s not Jewish or a type of spiritual rest (all types were intro after the Fall). Before Mt Sinai: if Israelites knew about 7th day Sabbath before Mt Sinai (Ex 16:23-26) then 7th day was kept before Mt Sinai, although forgotten under Egyptian bondage. Faulty Covenant: if God makes faulty covenants then there is need for a new covenant. The fault with the old covenant was the people (Heb 8:8) who tried to establish their own righteousness (Rom 10:3). Abraham: if Abraham was justified by faith (Rom 4:1-3; Gen 15:6) then the New Testament gospel was known in Old Testament times. Abraham was a new covenant believer living in old covenant times. Legalists in the new covenant live under the old covenant. Old or new covenant is an attitude, not a dispensation of time. Israel: the New Testament is clear that the Christian church is a continuation of literal Israel. (e.g. Gal 3:29; Eph 3:6; Rom 11:17-24). The 7th day Sabbath was given to literal and spiritual Israel. Israel: the new covenant was given to literal Israel (Jer 31:31-34). This makes no sense if the new covenant was only introduced in Christian times. Will: Covenant is the same as testament or will. A will can’t be changed after the testator’s death (Heb 9:15-17) therefore all of Jesus’ teachings had to be in place before His death (e.g. water baptism, communion, justification by faith, 7th day Sabbath etc). Legalism: God’s law is legal but not legalistic. Marriage is legal but ideally should not be legalistic. Parable of Gospel: the 7th day Sabbath is a parable of the gospel as it shuns the Pharisee’s way to heaven by reminding us each week to cease from salvation by works and rest in the finished works of Jesus. End Times: The “commandments” referred to in Rev 12:17; 14:12 (written in new covenant times) are the 10 Commandments (same word ‘tas entolas’ used in Jesus conversation with rich young ruler Matt 19:17) then those commands as a set apply in the end times. In Heaven: In new covenant times John sees “ark of His testament” (the tablets of 10 Commandments) in heaven (Rev 11:19). This is impossible if they were abolished. In Heaven: 7th day Sabbath will be kept by all humanity in the new earth (Isaiah 66:23). New Testament: all New Testament texts that are seemingly negative about law condemn the perversion of law as a method of righteousness. This must be so as the NT also contains many positive references about law. Hostility: Satan hates the 4th commandment because it’s the only one that gives the reason why the other 9 should be kept: God is the Creator. This explains the hostility the Sabbath continues to receive. Best Test: a commandment without intrinsic moral content is the best test as was the tree of knowledge in Eden. The 7th day Sabbath is a test day, rest day, best day and blessed day.
KJV Acts 13:42 And when the Jews were gone out of the synagogue, the Gentiles besought that these words might be preached to them the next sabbath. why not the gentiles ask the appostle to preach again on Sabbath? why not preach on "the other day"...Sabbath is for the jews only...?
Whenever you see "the first day of the week" always keep in mind the 7 Feasts/Holy Convocations from Leviticus 23. There were 3 Feast Weeks that were mandatory for all Hebrew males (Exodus 23, 34 and Deuteronomy 16). The 3 were Tabernacles (Sukkot), Unleavened Bread and Weeks. Weeks was 7 Weeks of 7 or 49 Days. The next Day was Pentecost, Day 50. You mentioned Acts 20:7, this was the "first day of the Week" of Week 1 of the 7 Weeks of 7, how do we know that? Look at Acts 20 verse 16, we see Pentecost listed there. Another Verse is 1 Corinthians 16:2, same thing here, look at 1 Corinthians 16:8, there is Pentecost again. The most classic is after the Resurrection. Jesus Rose on the "first day of the Week" of Week 1 of the 7 Weeks of 7. First Fruits is Day 1 of the 49. He appeared for 49 Days during Weeks. Read Acts 1 and 2, count backwards from Pentecost morning, there is a Sabbath's Day journey (about a 1,000 yards) then we are at Day 49 at the Ascension.
@@keithelrod777 Again, the term "Sabbath's Day journey" is not in the Bible. Also, my opinion is not relevant. It's all about what the Bible says. It says to rest on the Sabbath, for even our animals to rest. Now we do see apostles and others traveling on the Sabbath to go to different cities. No word is mentioned of animals carrying them. I guess some archaeologists and Biblical scholars could tell how far they traveled, but I don't know. Sounds like something it would be good for you to research. Also, btw, there is no such thing, Biblically, as Pentecost. That is a day invented by the RCC. As usual they give fake times to replace the true holy days. The Holy Spirit did not come down on those in the Upper Room on Pentecost, which follows the solar, or sun, calendar of the sun worshiping RCC. The Holy Spirit came down on the holy day of Shavuot which follows a lunar calendar, per Leviticus 23. The apostles were celebrating that day, business as usual for those who honor the holy days as we all should. I sure hope you will check out Psalm 119 Ministries. They will help you escape traditions of men and clearly see what the Bible is really teaching.
@@psalm1tree466 thank you for the info. Check out Acts 1:12. A Sabbath's Day journey is in the Bible. I know very deeply about Psalm 119 ministries. Here is where they totally miss the point: the choseness of the Hebrews started at Abraham and ended at Jesus Christ. That's why the Hebrews are so special. The Savior of the entire world came through them. Also, I am familiar with the Hebrew Lunar Calendar. I use the word Pentecost because it means Day 50. I don't typically use the the Hebrew words for the Name of the Messiah or the Holy Convocation Days from Leviticus 23. I don't speak the Hebrew language, so I typically prefer the English versions: Trumpets, Day of Atonement, Tabernacles, Passover, Unleavened Bread, First Fruits and Weeks. The 7 are actually the full Gospel Message of Christ. I know the Psalm 119 people love to impress with their Hebrew words. But the Psalm 119 people haven't even realized that Trumpets, Day of Atonement and Tabernacles are for sin. Passover, Unleavened Bread, First Fruits and Weeks are for death. The Messiah conquered sin and death, THEN on Day 50, He sent us the Holy Spirit. This is the Gospel. Again, the choseness of the Hebrews started at Abraham and ended at Jesus Christ.
Thank you. Great teaching. Debunking Christianeze can be frustrating. One point I'd like to mention. The RCC also changed the calendar, so my question is: Do you really think "YAHUAH" Elohim keeps time via the pagan roman calendar, currently in use around the world, and thus, that His appointed weekly Sabbath falls on either "Satur(n)day," or "Sun-day?" Or, do you believe, His weekly Sabbath, is on the "7th day," of the week, on His Calendar, as determined by the "sun, moon, and stars," whatever day it happens to fall on the pagan roman calendar? Question: if I make an appointment to meet you on a certain day, sometime in the future, but we are both using different calendars, what do you think is the likelihood that we will actually meet on the same day? Also, If I make an appointment with my Doctor, but mistakenly arrive at my appointment on a different day, and am unable to see my doctor, can I say that I have been treated by my Doctor? If YAH makes an appointment to see me on the 7th day of every week on His Calendar, and I show up on a different day, based on a "different" calendar, can I truthfully say that I have kept YAH's weekly Sabbath?
Don't forget the you all Sunday preachers use to teach that the sabbath was done away with. You know that you deceiving people. In Hebrews 4 kjv God says that he did not change the sabbath day, its says that if God had changed the sabbath day he would of told man so. So there remains a sabbath rest to the people of God. The sabbath is not Sunday its Saturday Sunday is idolatry it is worshipping of the sun God.
Why many sabbath keeper continue to claim Sunday is an idolatry day. Then who made that day idolatry. Where in the scripture says that , Sunday is evil day.. If we continue to follow law, then how many sabbath keeper break that 4th law and already put to death? The sabbath is Christ Jesus , rest in Him, the Lord of the Sabbath. You take Jesus out and placd sabbath first, we missed everything that Jesus said I am the way. My prayer is we all have peace in Christ Jesus, rest in Him.
Keeping Sunday as the Sabbath is not in the Bible it's tradition started by the Catholic church to keep everyone happy the Bible never contradiction itself
This man just based the whole idea for changing Sabbath from the 7th day to the 1st day on a pattern he sees emerging from NT worship practices. They met on Sabbaths still too. And likely other days. So what pattern? This together with the absence of any Biblical teaching (and no Heb 4 doesnt even give a command to change days) makes me hesitant to change Gods word.
Was he speaking Riddles mix with nonsense......he practically spoke several sentence fragments that made absolutely nonsense. I look at this 3xs and havent gotten no where but only the fact that Sat must be the Sabbath day for modern day. Cause he went through alot to direct the conversation to no where land.....smh
What makes the Sabbath more holy than other days? The HOLY Spirit. Thus there is more Holy Spirit given and available on the Sabbath. That is why Jesus did most of His miracles on the Sabbath, that is why there are more sacrifices on the Sabbath (Numbers 28), and that is why we are SEALED by the Holy Spirit in the Sabbath! If we need more Spirit, we need the rest of the Sabbath - that is where the Spirit is available: "Also I gave them my Sabbaths as a sign between us, so they would know that I the LORD made them holy." Ezekiel 20:12
Colossians 2:16-19 proves that the church ate clean beasts and good food, drank good drinks to stay sober, kept the holydays like feast of trumpets, day of atonement, feast of tabernacles, Passover, feast of unleavened bread, feast of weeks, observed the 12 new moons, and celebrated the seventh day Sabbaths. Let no man judge you is referring to the heathen and sinners, not the saints. The heathen and sinners are not allowed to judge our pure religion from Christ Jesus our Lord.
4:1 Let us therefore fear, lest, a promise being left us of entering into his rest, any of you should seem to come short of it.4:2 For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it.4:3 For we which have believed do enter into rest, as he said, As I have sworn in my wrath, if they shall enter into my rest: although the works were finished from the foundation of the world.4:4 For he spake in a certain place of the seventh day on this wise, And God did rest the seventh day from all his works.4:5 And in this place again, If they shall enter into my rest.4:6 Seeing therefore it remaineth that some must enter therein, and they to whom it was first preached entered not in because of unbelief:4:7 Again, he limiteth a certain day, saying in David, To day, after so long a time; as it is said, To day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts.4:8 For if Jesus had given them rest, then would he not afterward have spoken of another day.4:9 There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God.4:10 For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his.4:11 Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief.4:12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. Garbage talk. Matthew 5:17-20; Luke 16:17; Acts 17:2 (Sabbath is Paul's custom); Matthew 12:8 (Jesus the lord of Sabbath. Sabbath is the Lord's Day). Not all who calls Him Lord will enter the kingdom but those who do the will of the Father (Matthew 7:21) and Sabbath is one of the Father's will.
The Sabbath never changed. Excellent video explanation at testeverything.net (119 Ministries). They carefully explain why it hasn't and what scriptures are used to support that it isn't relevant and/or why on Sunday and then patiently through scripture debunk those ideas.
The Sabbath did NOT change! The Lord's Day is not the Sabbath. The so called Catholic Church changed it! You cannot get a true Sabbath day from a Gregorian Calendar!
I usually agree with Ligonier, but there are 4 reasons I disagree. 1. In the OT, “if” you believe in the promises of God,did the same commands apply to both Native Israelites and Alien (All) “believers”? a. [Isa 56:6-7 CSB] 6 "As for the foreigners who join themselves to the LORD to minister to him, to love the name of the LORD, and to become his servants -- all who keep the Sabbath without desecrating it and who hold firmly to my covenant -- 7 "I will bring them to my holy mountain and let them rejoice in my house of prayer...for my house will be called a house of prayer for all nations." b. [Exo 12:48-49 CSB] 48 "If an alien resides among you and wants to observe the LORD's Passover, every male in his household must be circumcised, and then he may participate; he will become like a native of the land. But no uncircumcised person may eat it. 49 "The same law will apply to both the native and the alien who resides among you." (Also, compare to the New Covenant and New Testament.) c. [Num 15:14-16 CSB] 14 "When an alien resides with you or someone else is among you and wants to prepare a fire offering as a pleasing aroma to the LORD, he is to do exactly as you do throughout your generations. 15 "The assembly is to have the same statute for both you and the resident alien as a permanent statute throughout your generations. You and the alien will be alike before the LORD. 16 "The same law and the same ordinance will apply to both you and the alien who resides with you." Also Read: (Ex 20:10, Ex 12:19, Lev 16:29-30, Lev 17:8-15, Lev 18:26-30, Lev 19:33-34, 1Ki 8:41-43) Notice: In the old testament, those who “Want” to “Join themselves to the Lord, to love the name of the Lord and to become his servants” were to follow the same commands as God had given to the Israelites. In the NT, Paul discuss this in Romans 11 and says we, believers are grafted on to the same tree as the Israelites, the true remnant. 2. Colossians doesn’t cancel the Sabbath. Paul says don’t let anyone “judge” how your celebrating these days with their man made rules. When you read the entire conversation, he’s saying don’t submit to all the additional man made regulations. 3. There is way, way more evidence the church continued to worship on the sabbath. Paul preached “every sabbath”. The church of Corinth was in a synagogue where Paul met with them for 18 months until he moved on to the next church. 4. There is only one mention of the NT church meeting on a Sunday in the entire Bible (other than a Feast Day) And, it was right after they celebrated the Feast of unleavened Bread. Paul continued to celebrate the Feast after Jesus death (without sacrifices or man made rules.) Read first Corinthians. (He discusses all the feast in that first letter.) The Lords Day is actually referencing the Feast of First Fruit. When Jesus rose from the dead. It never says the Lords Day was a weekly worship. It never says they worshiped every Sunday. It never says the Sabbath was canceled.
The fact that the Apostles gathered together with the church: (first real Christians), to pray and praise God on the first day says it all, "Christians" who entrap themselves with forcing onto them the sabbath should in order to make sense keep and celebrate all festivals and traditions from rituals and ceremonies to animal sacrifices for they don't need Christ, for them His sacrifice wasn't enough. And yet He abolished all of that and gave us freedom not just from the Law that none is capable of keeping it "for if you keep all but one you are guilty of braking it all" but we are free indeed! In fact we have to live a holy life but we have in heaven our Lord that intercede for us for when we fail...we repent and keep going. That's the sound doctrine, that we keep Jesus, any and every day of our lives.
Exactly. The apostles (some) went to the synagogues on the last day in order to reach the Jewish community, yet they gathered on the first day to commemorate the resurrection. We so not celebrate the bondage to sin, but the freedom of being resurrected with Christ.
JESUS kept the same sabbath as the Jews and Israelites 7thday (saturday) and the apostle also did keep the 7th day sabbath we can worship GOD on any day ! But the sabbath is HOLY and is the 7thday
Sabbath(saturday) is the 4th commandments . 1 John 3:4 King James Version (KJV) 4 Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law. Romans 6:23 King James Version (KJV) 23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Romans 6:14-23 King James Version (KJV) 14 For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace. 15 What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid. Romans 6 King James Version (KJV) 6 What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? 2 God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?

@@lolasobande8663 First let's talk about the food laws. You think they were done away with because of Peter's meat on the sheet dream. Notice that when Peter had the dream (1) he declared he had never eaten anything unclean so that shows Messiah never changed thhe food laws (2) Peter never again mentions food in relation to the dream. In Scriptures the interpretations for dreams are given. In prison with Joseph, the Pharaoh's baker and cup bearer had dreams about food but the interpretation had noting to do with food. The same is true for Peter. He puzzled over what the dream meant. Then some "unclean" gentiles showed up wanting to fellowship. The interpretation for Peter's dream was given 2 times with the words "This means..." Again, food was never mentioned once the dream was over. Instead we see that the dream meant that gentiles could now receive the blessings of the Ruach haKodesh, i.e. Holy Spirit. In Acts 15 we see that NONJewish converts are expected to adhere to the food laws of Moses, like no blood in meat. Strangled animals still had the blood in them. Further, in Acts 15 we see that the new converts are expected to be going to the Synagogues on the Sabbath to learn the rest of the Law of Moses. YHWH never changes. Someone mentioned animal sacrifices. They only stopped because the Temple was destroyed and the rabbis were tossed to the winds. However in the Old Testament we see that they will be restarted in the millennium of peace. If anyone wants to see what the Bible really says, I recommend Psalm 119 Ministries, starting with The Pauline Paradox. Paul kept the Law! Acts 21 makes that very clear as do other parts of the Bible. 1 John: 3-4 For sin is the breaking of the Law. Romans 2:12 - For as many as have sinned without Law will also perish without Law, and as many as have sinned in the Law will be judged by the Law 13 (for not the hearers of the Law [are] just in the sight of YHWH, but the doers of the Law will be justified; Romans 3:31 - Do we then make void the Law through faith? Certainly not! On the contrary, we establish the Law. Romans 6:16 - Do you not know that to whom you present yourselves slaves to obey, you are that one's slave whom you obey, whether of sin [leading] to death, or of obedience [leading] to righteousness? [This is clearly saying that sin leads to death, i.e. eternal death. Yes, there is mercy, and there are so many opportunities to turn around, couontless "2nd chanes", but sin still leads to eternal death if we don't take it seriously and take it to the Lord. Not my opinion. It's what the Word says over and over. HThese quotes are mostly from Paul whom we are often taught said the law was no longer in effect. Here is another quote from him. Acts 25:8 Paul denied the charges. “I am not guilty of any crime against the Jewish laws or the Temple or the Roman government,” he said. If he was not guilty of breaking any Jewish laws, obviously e kept them all! He ate "kosher", he kept the high holy days and so on and on. Oh, and we can't say there is one law for Jews like Paul and one law for the rest of us. The Bible never even hints at any such divide. In fact in the Torah we are told that aliens/foreigners are to obey the same Law in Israel as the Israelites, and in the New Testament we are told "There is neither Greek nor Jew."
That’s the first I heard of making Jesus central as a reason for changing the day of rest, but it makes perfect sense to me. As a single parent of a child with special needs, with no help from family or church, I couldn’t even have a day of rest, let alone two, if I rested Saturday and attended church on Sunday.
@@salauerman7082 ...Did the Bible, Jesus or the Apostles make a change to the day of rest? if the answer is NO; it doesn't matter how plausible the reason, if the Bible, the Apostle nor Jesus made that change it is a device of Satan. Our only sure guide is the Word of God and not sinful man. Please stick to what the Bible says, you can't go wrong if you do.
@@horacewilliams995 the early church did meet together on the first day of the week. One example is when a young guy fell to his death but was resurrected (by Paul, if I’m correct), during a gathering.
The Sabbath was made for people. It was never changed for whoever changes it , God will bring destruction among them. The Sabbath was the 4th commandment of God in 10 commandments.
WHY IS THIS SO HARD. The Sabbath PREDATES even the 10 commandments. And of the 10 commandments JESUS folks J-E-S-U-S said "not a jot or tittle shall in NO WAY pass from the LAW. One poor unread person ACTUALLY said we don't need the 10 commandments any more. Sssoooo, guess its ok to lie, steel, do the adultry thing. COME ON PEOPLE THINK, please ???
@Khushi Raw yes, all those laws were "hung on the cross". Don't confuse those with the 10 commandments. THOSE are the ones that Jesus said that WILL NOT CHANGE.
The guy took it out of context. "The Lord's Day" in that bible reference is otherwise known as the "day of the Lord" which is the day that Jesus Christ is coming back. The bible always references the Day of the Lord to the Second Coming of Jesus Christ. The apostle John was actually witnessing, while being possessed by the Holy Spirit, the second coming in a prophetic vision. That verse has nothing to do with the Sabbath.
We must take into consideration that Christ was condemned by the religious by "working" on the Sabbath by healing. The very strict Jews argue that since you cannot cook on the Sabbath is putting milk and sugar in tea considered cooking!! Colossians 2:16 it speaks of not being judged about "sabbaths". Christ is "Lord of the Sabbath" the rest is Him and in Him. We are to rest because none of our works work. Out fruit comes from our regeneration and must be apparent, our rest is in Him that He has covered all the works by the Cross. So in the end Saturday in the Mosaic law is the Sabbath but one must decide what you will honour.
THE BIBLE SAYS THE LAW WAS CHANGED? OR WAS IT REMOVED? Heb 7:12 “For the priesthood being changed, there is made of necessity a CHANGE (3331) also of the law. ” But what was the Law changed to? That capitalized “change” is a different Greek word from the first one in this verse. Different word, different meaning. Right? So what is our meaning here? Here are two more examples of how this Greek word is used. I have capitalized the words for clarity. Heb 11:5 “By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his TRANSLATION (3331) he had this testimony, that he pleased God.” Now, was Enoch “changed,” or was he moved to somewhere else? He was moved or transferred somewhere else. This is one meaning of this word. This next verse will show that even more conclusively. Heb 12:27 “And this word, Yet once more, signifieth the REMOVING (3331) of those things that are shaken, as of things that are made, that those things which cannot be shaken may remain.” Removal! That nails it. The Mosaic Law was removed out of the way. “Change” just doesn't quiet get it. “But, but, but; how can we be sure?” This verse will add clarity to it. Heb 7:18 “For there is verily a DISANNULLING (115) of the commandment (the Law) going before for the weakness and unprofitableness thereof.” Here Paul is writing in the same context as the original verse 12 at the top of this post. So what is he saying here? One more verse to clinch this thing. Heb 9:26 “For then must he often have suffered since the foundation of the world: but now once in the end of the world hath he appeared TO PUT AWAY (115) sin by the sacrifice of himself.” Same Greek word in this previous verse translated “disannulling.” The Mosaic Law was PUT AWAY! As in a trunk in heaven! And there it is confirmed! The Greek language is beautifully clear! Of course, many simply refuse to believe the biblical texts. The “disannulling” of the commandment is “to put away” the commandment! The Law was indeed put away, nullified, nailed to the cross, removed, and taken out of the picture for all believers. Unless you have gone to many various churches, you would not believe how many Christians are still struggling daily under these old covenant laws and burdens, thinking they are obeying and pleasing God by observing them. And the “Law” being put away by the sacrifice of Christ! It is a tragedy of suffering in the Body of Christ, brought on by legalistic teachers persuading believers they are required to do these things in order to be saved. It is a heavy burden to bare. And unnecessarily so!
Ehud's Dagger no, the pattern did mot change and no where is it stated! The worship of the Sun god is Sunday, and was instituted by Constantine to bring in the pagans!
JESUS kept the same sabbath as the Jews they even took him down from the cross cuz sabbath was coming and it was preparation day(Friday) and sabbath they hung no body on the cross (Saturday)
Mark 2:27-28 King James Version (KJV) 27 And he said unto them, The sabbath was made for man, and not man for the sabbath: 28 Therefore the Son of man is Lord also of the sabbath. Surrender and cleanse your heart. Do fasting, let the Lord Jesus Christ give you understanding to learn his words for you. Do not just listen to other experts, open the KJV Holy Bible by yourself.,.,.,
Yep, Christ is our rest. You cannot claim to keep the Jewish Sabbath and rest in Christ it's either one or the other you are in the new or old covenant. And you don't want to be in the old, acting as Christ has not come. The Sabbath points to Christ who fulfilled the Sabbath as He did to all the ceremonies.
God's character is his law. The law is ... God is... Even the RCC admits and says it has the authority to change the day of worship from Saturday to Sunday. See the Catholic mirror 1893. And the RCC accuses the Sunday keeping protestants of not following the Bible, sola scriptura, but affirming the tradition of the RCC.
The sabbath in the strongs dictionary has 2 meanings depending on how you see it in the bible, but in the case of Genesis 2:1-3, it was talking about ceasing work. In this case, God blessed the 7th day and made it holy never to be changed due to any circumstances, because we are honoring God for ceasing from the work that He did which was the 6 days of creation. If God changed the day, we would see somewhere in the bible specifically saying, "And God blessed the first day, because in this day, the Son of Man has risen". God made the sabbath to remember God rested from the 6th days of creation, and so He wouldn't change the day from 7th to 1st.
If the first sabbath was the seventh day of creation there were no Jews, so it is not a Jewish day. The sabbath was made for all people.
amen!
@Khushi Raw ah, sorry but...???????
Yes that's true only yahshua can save you praise yahuah
Khushi Raw So then Jesus lied about what we should do? “If you love me, you will keep my commandments.” John 14:15
Khushi Raw so, then that would mean that the ones he put into peoples hearts are different to the ones he put in the Bible? That seems weird.
Khushi Raw only if you are talking about a different god would he write different laws.
Even in Heaven brothers and sisters, Sabbath will be kept.Isa66:23
Exactly... that is why it is important for each and everyone of us to search the scriptures. God created earth in 6 days which is from sunday to friday and He rested on the seventh which is Saturday. He blessed and sanctified it and called it His Holy day. Thank you Jesus, Lord of the Sabbath👑🙌🙏
Which is the seventh day, right !
Pretty sure
Question: Where does it say in the Bible that God changed His day of rest to Sunday? Answer: It doesn’t.
amen
The Ten Commandments are not only for the Jews, and not only was it written on two stone tablets, they were given way before the event on Mount Sinai.
In the beginning , The lord blessed the Sabbath on the seventh day... the Sabbath is the Forth Commandment.
Satan sinned, and what is sin? Transgression of the Law
“Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.”
- 1 John 3:4
Satan coveted the throne of God... and Coveting is the Tenth Commandment...
For if he were on earth, he should not be a priest, seeing that there are priests that offer gifts according to the law:
Who serve unto the example and shadow of heavenly things, as Moses was admonished of God when he was about to make the tabernacle: for, See, saith he, that thou make all things according to the pattern shewed to thee in the mount.”
- Hebrews 8:2-5
You see, now that we know this, let’s go to Exodus... The sanctuary was divided into three parts, the outside which is the court-yard, the holy place, and the most holy place....
“And there I will meet with thee, and I will commune with thee from above the mercy seat, from between the two cherubims which [are] upon the ark of the testimony, of all [things] which I will give thee in commandment unto the children of Israel.”
- Exodus 25:22
So now, we know that the ark of the covenant had the Ten Commandments in it!! OKAY!!! so it’s obvious that there’s a replica of that one in heaven because the earthly one is a shadow of the true Tabernacle in heaven...
Overall God says, “if ye love me, keep my Commandments” - John 14:15
MORE SPECIFICALLY, The Sabbath, God’s instituted day since the creation has been presumably stomped on from the past few decades...
“And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time.”
Daniel 7:25
So if you read Daniel 7:25 it clearly states that this horn/power will act like God, and come on, be realistic right now, who says that they are like God?
Look at what Revelation says
“Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.”
- Revelation 22:14
“And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.”
- Revelation 12:17
WOW HOW CLEAR IS THE BIBLE!!!!
Satan is in wrath with those who keep God’s Ten Commandments, And he HATES THE SABBATH THE MOST!! Wow, wake up guys, we have to Obey The Lord and not man!!!!!
Hopefully you understood Brothers, don’t be hard headed, accept God’s truth and teach it to others, be pure to yourself and overall God.... God Bless!!!!

Amen! 501 c 3 churches lie about the true Sabbath of the LORD which is and always will be the seventh day as God said and sanctified it and set it apart. He doesn’t change !
I have a question for you:
If I am in NZ, surely God's perfect time would be connected to His creation time. How do I properly as per the Word of God keep the Sabbath in relation to:
1. Know exactly the date. Who has preserved these dates and can they be verified?
If you have this info can you please send to me :)
THE SABBATH OF THE NEW COVENANT
This information is being written because we as Christians are living in a very peculiar time.
And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made."
One thing that should be immediately noticed is that all of the preceding six days end with the following words, "And the evening and the morning were the (1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, or 6th) day." We do not find these words of finality or summation ending the seventh day, because in a perfect world, everyday thereafter would be a condition of Sabbath or rest and repose.
Six days shalt thou labor, and do all thy work: But the seventh day is the Sabbath of the Lord thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates: For in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day, and hallowed it."
One primary point that must be noted regarding the Sabbath commandment is that it has nothing to do with going to church!
Now that which decayeth and waxeth old is ready to vanish away."
In Galatians 3:24-25, we are exhorted "Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith.
He that regardeth the day, regardeth it unto the Lord, and he that regardeth not the day, to the Lord he doth not regard it."
We know that the Sabbath law is fulfilled in Jesus Christ and He abides within us. Acts 20:7 says, "And upon the first day of the week, when the disciples came together to break bread, Paul preached unto them, ready to depart on the morrow; and continued his speech until midnight."
It is my humble prayer that all who read this will realize the joy of keeping all seven days of the week holy and thus fulfill the sacred commandment; for it is not our works but the finished work of Christ that has established the eternal timeless Sabbath of the New Covenant by the power of His blood.

Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work:

Q- Why do we observe sunday instead of saturday???
A- We observe Sunday instead of Saturday because the catholic church in the council of laodicea A.D. 336 transferred the solominity from Saturday to Sunday and the person behind this was the Roman emperor Constantine who was a sun worshiper who was jealous and really didn't like the Jews made is own rule and power to neglect from the bible that Saturday became Sunday law to the Catholic church who were sun worshiper. Sunday has nothing to do with rising of our heavenly father

• Luke 23:52-24:2 - All acknowledge Jesus died on the Friday, was in the grave on Saturday and rose on Sunday. The preparation day was Friday, Sabbath is Saturday, and the first day of the week is Sunday
There is no Scriptural evidence for the Sabbath being changed from the 7th day Saturday to Sunday (the 1st day of the week).
Amen, I love every Sabbath

God didn't change anything. The Sabbath is still the Sabbath. Man made his own version of the Lord's day and called it Sunday in honor of Sun worship. The bible doesn't say anything about changing God's weekly Sabbath. Both Jesus and the apostles worshiped on Saturday, never on Sunday.
That doesn't mean we can't worship GOD on Sunday, does it?.

The LORD's day is the Sabbath!
(Isaiah 58:13,14) "If thou turn away thy foot from the sabbath, from doing thy pleasure on {my holy day}; and call the sabbath a delight, the holy of the LORD, honourable; and shalt honour him, not doing thine own ways, nor finding thine own pleasure, nor speaking thine own words: Then shalt thou delight thyself in the LORD; and I will cause thee to ride upon the high places of the earth, and feed thee with the heritage of Jacob thy father: for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken it."
Why is it so hard to keep the SABBATH whom should we follow God or man? Such a foolish thing to disobey Our Loving GOD
Whichever is the Sabbath day, I have never heard such a mumbo-jumbo explanation of why it is what it is. It would likely leave most people completely befuddled.
Its Saturday the 7th day like the Jews dont be fooled by this pagan Catholicism day
The Sabbath did not change. Hebrews 4: 8--10 For if Jesus had given them rest, then would he not afterward have spoken of another day. There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God. For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his.
@Andrew Aaboe Where does that verse, or any other Bible verse, for that matter, say that the Sabbath is on the first day of the week and not the seventh?
Sabbath! As in, true and genuine Sabbath!
ua-cam.com/video/SAxRVliLP7g/v-deo.html
The Ten Commandments are not only for the Jews, and not only was it written on two stone tablets, they were given way before the event on Mount Sinai.
In the beginning , The lord blessed the Sabbath on the seventh day... the Sabbath is the Forth Commandment.
Satan sinned, and what is sin? Transgression of the Law
“Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.”
- 1 John 3:4
Satan coveted the throne of God... and Coveting is the Tenth Commandment...

You teach error, the Sabbath has never changed.
The "Lord" day is the day the Lord himself said he is Lord of

Why would you say God changed it. There's nowhere in the bible that says He did. You proved that point. However history shows the ruler of Rome who was *saved changed the Sabbath to Sunday to distract or entice the pagans who on that day were worshipping their SunGod, on Sunday.
Exactly!
Acts 20:7 And upon the first day of the week, when the disciples came together to break bread, Paul preached unto them, ready to depart on the morrow; and continued his speech until midnight.
Pentecost may also refer to the 50 days from Easter to Pentecost Sunday inclusive of both. Because Easter itself has no fixed date, this makes Pentecost a moveable feast. ...

@@keithelrod777 What you mean by seven feast work?
I’ve always said God should be worshipped *every day!*
I highly doubt anyone is going to Hell for going to church on Sunday, over Saturday, to fellowship & worship God.

The Sabbath has never changed
The Lords day is the Sabbath 7th day .Christ is the Lord of the Sabbath
Jesus told the Pharisees “Do what is good on the Sabbath day”. Why would he say this establishing the day in front of his Apostles if he was about to Change or end the day right as Christianity would be created? You think Any Jew would convert if Anyone said the 4th commandment was void?
Some people wear nice suits and still dumb as it can be when it comes to God's words. That's sad! 😭
“He disarmed the rulers and authorities and put them to open shame, by triumphing over them in him. Therefore let no one pass judgment on you in questions of food and drink, or with regard to a festival or a new moon or a Sabbath. These are a shadow of the things to come, but the substance belongs to Christ.”
Colossians 2:15-17 ESV
“One person esteems one day as better than another, while another esteems all days alike. For to this end Christ died and lived again, that he might be Lord both of the dead and of the living.”
Romans 14:5-9 ESV
Hope these help
A very important point overlooked in today's church is the true meaning of the 4th Commandment. The Sabbath Commandment is about Christ, His 7 Feast Work equals our Eternal Sabbath Rest. Looking at Exodus 16, we see twice the Manna from Heaven given on Friday, the sixth day, why? so the people of God could have their 7th Day, Sabbath Rest. Even the land had twice the crops in the 6th year, so the people of God could have their 7th Year Sabbath Rest.
I'm not entirely sure myself. 🤔
Luke 4
Jesus cleansed the temple on Sabbath, twice, overthrowing the money changers' tables, honoring "My Father's house" & the 2nd time He called it His house, a house of prayer for all people, reminding everyone of His words in Isaiah 56:1-8, concerning Sabbath praise.
The commandment specifically points out the 7th day of creation being, the Sabbath. Genesis 2 Exodus 20
Jesus rested in the grave on Sabbath, & rose to go back to work, on the 1st day of the week.

Then the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had told them to go. When they saw him, they worshiped him; but some doubted. Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore

go and make disciples of all nations,
**#2**
baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and

And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

It seems nothing said to help them does, just turns into an argument, it's causing me great pain** I hope and pray that even just one of you has their eyes and hearts opened and changed from our efforts, blessings to you all.
To all who claim we must observe Saturday as the sabbath, i just have a few questions
Revelation 22:14 says:" Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city."
Only those who keep His commandments have the right to enter into the city.
Romans 6:16 - "Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?"
God say "Remember the Sabbath Day to Keep it Holy...the seventh day is the Sabbath of the Lord thy God." Man says ' any day will do'.
The Bible says “ 6 days I am to work and I must rest one day . That day is call the seventh day but in reality God gave the days no name..
The weekly cycle has not changed since the Genesis and Exodus were written. So the 7th day is saturday it can be no other day.
No name but still the seventh day. And days are the same today as then. Saturday is the sabbath.
The Bible is clear when it uses the word The, not a or an.
The only day of the week that has the word LORD attached to it in Scripture is the 7th day of the week i.e. the SABBATH OF THE *LORD* :
This is the only place where the term "Lord's day" appears in the Bible, and there is no place in the whole of the Bible where "Sun"-day or the first day of the week is called the "Lord's Day," but this has been used and applied/implied by ecclesiastical clergy trying to promulgate the notion that somehow in the Bible God or Jesus ever sanctified "Sun"-day as a sanctified 'holy day' in order to replace the Sabbath of the LORD, which of course they never did anywhere in the Bible.
In logical sequence:
Creation: if 7th day Sabbath given at Creation then it’s not Jewish or a type of spiritual rest (all types were intro after the Fall).
No the Catholics admit they broke gods commandments and changed it to Sunday and nobody is exempt from the commandments or the sabbath
KJV Acts 13:42
And when the Jews were gone out of the synagogue, the Gentiles besought that these words might be preached to them the next sabbath.
why not the gentiles ask the appostle to preach again on Sabbath? why not preach on "the other day"...Sabbath is for the jews only...?
There is nothing in the Torah about a Sabbath's Day journey.
@@psalm1tree466 So what is a Sabbath's Day journey in your opinion?
Then they returned to Jerusalem from the mount called Olivet, which is near Jerusalem, a Sabbath day’s journey away. - Acts 1:12
The sabbath is not Sunday its Saturday
Sunday is idolatry it is worshipping of the sun God.
Malachi 3:5 "I the LORD do not change. So you, the descendants of Jacob, are not destroyed". ...once again God said "I the LORD do not change...."
If we need more Spirit, we need the rest of the Sabbath - that is where the Spirit is available:
"Also I gave them my Sabbaths as a sign between us, so they would know that I the LORD made them holy." Ezekiel 20:12
blasphemy. what verses, or precepts explains this? Paul met ppl on the 1st day to meet them in there sin n walk them to the truth. . hebrews 4.4 -11
DO NOT DO WORK ON SATURDAY THAT MAKES YOU MONEY (which is how we understand "don't light a fire on the sabbath" since you needed a flame for work)
Could it be they came together on Sunday because they observed the Sabbath? I'm trying to figure out what is what 😔
They came together on the first day of the week bc it was Passover and first fruits. These would always land on the first day of the week.
Hypocrisy at its Highest form :)

That is twisting of Scripture. There is no evidence God changes the Sabbath to Sunday. Jesus giving us rest doesn’t abolish the Sabbath
The Sabbath never changed. Excellent video explanation at testeverything.net (119 Ministries). They carefully explain why it hasn't and what scriptures are used to support that it isn't relevant and/or why on Sunday and then patiently through scripture debunk those ideas.

"We begin with rest and then work our way out of that rest"?
SMH. You can work your way out of that rest all you want.
My sentiments exactly!
IKR!
I usually agree with Ligonier, but there are 4 reasons I disagree.
1. In the OT, “if” you believe in the promises of God,did the same commands apply to both Native Israelites and Alien (All) “believers”?
a. [Isa 56:6-7 CSB] 6 "As for the foreigners who join themselves to the LORD to minister to him, to love the name of the LORD, and to become his servants -- all who keep the Sabbath without desecrating it and who hold firmly to my covenant -- 7 "I will bring them to my holy mountain and let them rejoice in my house of prayer...for my house will be called a house of prayer for all nations."
b. [Exo 12:48-49 CSB] 48 "If an alien resides among you and wants to observe the LORD's Passover, every male in his household must be circumcised, and then he may participate; he will become like a native of the land. But no uncircumcised person may eat it. 49 "The same law will apply to both the native and the alien who resides among you." (Also, compare to the New Covenant and New Testament.)
c. 16 "The same law and the same ordinance will apply to both you and the alien who resides with you."
Also Read: (Ex 20:10, Ex 12:19, Lev 16:29-30, Lev 17:8-15, Lev 18:26-30, Lev 19:33-34, 1Ki 8:41-43)
Notice: In the old testament, those who “Want” to “Join themselves to the Lord, to love the name of the Lord and to become his servants” were to follow the same commands as God had given to the Israelites.
(He discusses all the feast in that first letter.)
The Lords Day is actually referencing the Feast of First Fruit.

15 What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid.

6 What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?

Romans 2:12 - For as many as have sinned without Law will also perish without Law, and as many as have sinned in the Law will be judged by the Law 13 (for not the hearers of the Law [are] just in the sight of YHWH, but the doers of the Law will be justified;
Romans 3:31 - Do we then make void the Law through faith?
I’m now caring for my father and my child.
Does God curse widows, or just people?
@@salauerman7082 ...Did the Bible, Jesus or the Apostles make a change to the day of rest? if the answer is NO; it doesn't matter how plausible the reason, if the Bible, the Apostle nor Jesus made that change it is a device of Satan. Our only sure guide is the Word of God and not sinful man. Please stick to what the Bible says, you can't go wrong if you do.
@@horacewilliams995 the early church did meet together on the first day of the week. One example is when a young guy fell to his death but was resurrected (by Paul, if I’m correct), during a gathering.
"IF YOU LOVE ME, KEEP MY COMMANDMENTS" - John 14v15
Please watch "The Ten Commandments" by Doug Bachelor
The Sabbath was made for people. It was never changed for whoever changes it , God will bring destruction among them.
The Sabbath was the 4th commandment of God in 10 commandments.
So I just became a new believer, should I worship on Saturday?
I am the lord and i change not is what He says.
The answer is no. Sabbath and Sunday were separate events in the early church.
WHY IS THIS SO HARD. The Sabbath PREDATES even the 10 commandments. And of the 10 commandments JESUS folks
J-E-S-U-S said "not a jot or tittle shall in NO WAY pass from the LAW.
THOSE are the ones that Jesus said that WILL NOT CHANGE.

you sure HEB 4 1-9 NT it says so clearly
You state thet God changed this but don't explain that. It sounds more like man changed this.
That’s incorrect there is no authority for Sunday you are a false teacher
We must take into consideration that Christ was condemned by the religious by "working" on the Sabbath by healing. The very strict Jews argue that since you cannot cook on the Sabbath is putting milk and sugar in tea considered cooking!! Colossians 2:16 it speaks of not being judged about "sabbaths". Christ is "Lord of the Sabbath" the rest is Him and in Him. We are to rest because none of our works work. Out fruit comes from our regeneration and must be apparent, our rest is in Him that He has covered all the works by the Cross. So in the end Saturday in the Mosaic law is the Sabbath but one must decide what you will honour.
sabbath is Saturday 😀😀😀😀😀
THE BIBLE SAYS THE LAW WAS CHANGED? OR WAS IT REMOVED?
Heb 7:12 “For the priesthood being changed, there is made of necessity a CHANGE (3331) also of the law. ”
But what was the Law changed to? That capitalized “change” is a different Greek word from the first one in this verse. Different word, different meaning. Right? So what is our meaning here? Here are two more examples of how this Greek word is used. I have capitalized the words for clarity.
Heb 11:5 “By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his TRANSLATION (3331) he had this testimony, that he pleased God.”
Now, was Enoch “changed,” or was he moved to somewhere else? He was moved or transferred somewhere else. This is one meaning of this word. This next verse will show that even more conclusively.
Heb 12:27 “And this word, Yet once more, signifieth the REMOVING (3331) of those things that are shaken, as of things that are made, that those things which cannot be shaken may remain.”
Removal! That nails it. The Mosaic Law was removed out of the way. “Change” just doesn't quiet get it. “But, but, but; how can we be sure?” This verse will add clarity to it.
Heb 7:18 “For there is verily a DISANNULLING (115) of the commandment (the Law) going before for the weakness and unprofitableness thereof.”
Here Paul is writing in the same context as the original verse 12 at the top of this post.
Thanks Dr. Godfrey for your helpful response!

Mark 2:27-28 King James Version (KJV)
27 And he said unto them, The sabbath was made for man, and not man for the sabbath:
28 Therefore the Son of man is Lord also of the sabbath.
Hebrews 13:8 King James Version (KJV)
8 Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.
Malachi 3:6 King James Version (KJV)
6 For I am the Lord, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed.
Where did JESUS keep Sunday sabbath?? Where did he change the sabbath please show me a verse .. u must not be reading your bible and listening to men and there traditions.
Pretentious people think they know.
The KJV Holy Bible says, they are fools. Do not do surgical reading but study it. Ask the Holy Spirit to guide and give you wisdom.
