Your glue dots are creating a single pinch-point of failure when the glue-dot is rocked back and forth in the wind. Some call it 'sticktion'. Securing accents by pairing them after tying them to a 160 or 260q is a good alternative to glue-gun work.
Oxidation, ozone and sun can also dispose of balloons (and don't get me started on wind). Outdoor decorations have to be done day-of and aren't going to last by the nature of the product (natural latex biodegrades and is fragile). That's why indoor work is optimal - fewer variables and the climate is largely controlled (depending on the space, I've seen ozone machines that remove indoor pollutants wreck havoc on balloon installations too).

I love using fishing line, plus if you add 5'' balloons or any other sizes in to your base garland it will make a big difference in your balloon shape. Filling in spaces plays a big part as well.

I am doing a balloon garland for halloween outside the house, but the surface is stucco. Which command hook should I use? I was thinking on using about 4 hooks, 3 lbs., but not sure if it will hold my garland as the surface is not smooth. I appreciate your response!
Never worked with stucco surface, my guess will be to get heavier (more than 0.5lb) command hooks

Can you do a video focusing on your low temp glue gun technique for adding in balloons? I tried it myself and it didn’t look nearly as easy as you make it look! The glue was taking too long to dry and was leaving behind stringy glue residue. Maybe I’m doing something wrong🤷🏻♀️

In this (under the sea) video, you briefly mentioned something about pre-making garlands indoors vs outdoors. Question about that, would a balloon garland and mermaid tail hold well indoors if I make them the night before inside a venue? It’s for a Quinceneara. What are your thoughts on this, please? ;)
Hi! thank you! Yes, you can make your garlands 1-3 days ahead of time. If your garland is for outside then you can make your garland 1-3 days in advance but hang your garland outside right before party starts.

I recently switched to 20lb, 10lb snaps once in the while when you pull on it, 20lb won't snap.

Hello, thank you! I usually use scissors to cut balloons at the knot. I don't think there is a faster way.

How did you manage to blow up everything inside in AC and then take it outside without popping?

Do you prefer using glue dots or a low temperature glue gun to secure balloons ?do they hold the same ?
I love using Low temperature glue gun over glue dots. Glue gun holds better. If I am using glue dots I use 2-4 dots per balloon.
What are the best things to use as weights so the tower or pillar balloon won't move or fall? Is tgere anything to use as weights?

If doing a table balloon arch, do you need table clamps & the poles? Or can you use just fishing line like all other balloon arches/ garlands?
Its better to use poles to make sure your garland is stabled.
How do you keep your pump from overheating? I tried my first Garland last week and I tried not to use the pump more than 15 minutes at a time so it doesn't over heat. But after letting cool down, a few balloons popped as I was filling them.
I am not event trying to cool it down, I use balloon pump until I am done with balloons.
Do you use hot glu to paste the fishes?

To price your garlands you need to count supply cost, time it took you to make it, and gas if you need to travel. Some people price garlands per foot.

How would you secure a balloon garland around a backdrop stand?
I tied my garland with fishing line.
Pin a safety pin to my fabric, take extra fishing line, wrap around balloon garland and take it to my safety pin, tie extra wrapped fishing line to pined safety pin on your backdrop.

Especially when its heavily powdered
You can use balloon shine, it will take some time to rub it in but it will do the job.

If you use all Qualatex balloons they’ll last at least 3 days! I just did a garland in TEXAS HEAT aka 100 degrees outside and the only reason why some popped was because of overnight rain.

They will not last too long, at the end of this video I show how garland looks after 24 hours :)

So pretty,! 😍, I watched to the end and seen the next day, and the clear 5inch turned almost white and so many had popped and fishys fell probably from. The weight inflatables are heavier than balloons I'm.
