Здесь находится церковь Святого Николая, покровителя моряков. Её видно из далека. Местные жители утверждают, что святой Николай совершил здесь чудо, он повелевал, чтобы на острове никогда не ржавели железные предметы.Снято на квадрокоптер DJI Mavic 2 Zoom.

Небольшой гористый остров с каменистой почвой и скудной растительностью, естественные источники пресной воды практически отсутствуют. Расположен к западу от острова Родос, расстояние до порта города Родос - 65 км (35 морских миль), наименьшее расстояние - 9 км (5 морских миль). Протяжённость береговой линии - около 40 км. Единственный населённый пункт на острове - городок Нимборьо (греч. Νημποριό); он расположен на восточном побережье амфитеатром на склонах гор в защищённой от ветра бухте, вход в которую «прикрывает» маленький островок. В глубине острова находится прежняя «столица» Халки - селение Хорьо (греч. Χωριό), ныне заброшенное. Халки включён список охраняемых природных территорий в рамках экологической сети Natura 2000. Halki (Greek) is an island in the Aegean Sea, part of the Dodecanes Archipelago (Southern Sporads), and belongs to Greece.
A small mountainous island with rocky soil and scarce vegetation, natural freshwater sources are virtually non-existent. Located west of Rhodes Island, the port distance of Rhodes is 65 km (35 nautical miles), and the smallest distance is 9 km (5 nautical miles). The length of the coastline is about 40 km. The only settlement on the island is the town of Nimboryo (Greek); It is located on the east coast by an amphitheatre on the slopes of the mountains in a wind-protected bay, the entrance to which is "covered" by a small islet. In the depth of the island is the former "capital" of Halki - the village of Horyo (Greek), now abandoned. Halki included a list of protected natural areas within the Natura 2000 ecological network.
