- A change of pace from us this week with a Thursday show from Edinburgh, so as to bring you the keenly anticipated arrival of jet Blue's new New York JFK - Edinburgh connection with their A321 neo. The aircraft is scheduled for an 0830 arrival, but if it comes earlier we will catch it for your enjoyment (Grateful thanks to our friends at Aviation Hunters for kindly sharing the image for the thumbnail😀👍👍👍). Plenty of other transatlantic action too with United Airlines (757's), Delta Airlines (767's), Air Canada (787) and a couple of WestJet flights too (787 + Max 8), so the bases are truly loaded for some great plane spotting plus we suspect some great spray as the forecast is a wet one! Plus of course plenty of medium and smaller jets, and a smattering of turbo props to add some extra flavour to the mix so definitely plenty to enjoy. And of course of course great company in the chat for a genuine 'planes with friends' experience.😍

I just love that WestJet livery and getting 2 yesterday, especially the Dreamliner was just so good - the summer season at EDI has plenty of rock 'n' roll about it. Do let us know though when Marc is on the EDI route - if it aligns with a potential stream slot for us we'd love to cover it. Not sure how much notice they get but hold that thought. Hi Mike, thanks for watching😀👍 - hope you enjoyed it. I can't believe we got so lucky in avoiding the rain, both at EDI and later that day at ABZ. The drizzle at ABZ caught me out a bit as I started the day with our full set up which can't be protected against the rain, but I wanted the second camera and got blaise about the odds of rain. That drizzle at the end got everywhere🤣. Was planning to prove everything tomorrow, but now we are at Newcastle there isn't the time! What's the old saying - 'it will be alright on the night!'🤣 Hope to catch you then. Cheers Mark
