They are the descendents and are of ahle bayt, and Are the decendents of Hassan/Husain. So, do they respect them and give them they're due status and rank or not? I don't know about the Saudi regime but Ahl ul-Bayt are generally honoured and mentioned beautifully by Ahl us-Sunnah wal-Jama'ah. We honour the both the genealogical and spiritual descendants of Rasulu Ullah (SAAWS) and we honour all he's companions as well. And that is the beauty of Sunni Islam?
