    We are in Africa, in Sub-Saharan Africa where people face challenges. The idea that someone started a business with less than $10 and built one of Afrca's top edible skincare companies can be misleading and not address the issues.
    The skincare product must be firsly fabricated or bought in order to be sold. To be sold in a packaging, must be recruted, meaning some for of ads, etc. Each of these steps refer to costs.
    To what extent with less than $10 as equity you can build one of Africa's top edible skincarre companies?
    You need to be realistc. For a business be sustainable you need to think of working capital. In the beginning of your example of less than $10 as equity, the working capital is what left after the necessary expenses to begin the skincare company were afforded.

      @@clementgavi7290 It has everything to do with it. Your breakdown of what launching a business requires shows it costs more than $10 therefore information has been omitted. Her parents being rich are provide necessity of understanding of the situation, whether you realise it or not.

      @@yo-a There is nothing wrong with having a rich parent. It is not my problem. What I am talking about is that those who talk should be pedagogical. The idea that someone starts a successful business with less than $10 is simply a chimera. I don’t concern myself with someone’s wealth or someone parent’s wealth. It is not my problem.

      Makes me respect her more. Most would have opted to continue their trust fund lives in the west. She has developed a Ghanaian brand with manufacturing in Ghana when there are vanishingly few international standard brands in Ghana. In fact most wealthy Fhanaians skip the toil of domestic manufacturing and instead opt to import products and services. Hence the reason Ghana has such limited domestic manufacturing and industry.

    • @JonGreeny
      @JonGreeny 4 місяці тому

      @@rositascarborough5751 How does one from a wealthy home tell a ''from rags to riches'' story? Starting a manufacturing business with $10 in West-Africa is an insult to our brothers and sisters genuinely hustling on the streets of Ghana. Her business venture is laudable but to me just another venue to transfer and circulate wealth within the upper echelon of Ghanaian society. Those products are not affordable for the ordinary Ghanaian.
