Well said - I'm a BIG fan of Sanson. I think he's absolute quality - treated appallingly by Gerrard. Hope we'll see more of him now we have a Head Coach who knows a good player when he sees one!

Considering the away ticket allocation is so small for PL games and being behind from the start the noise that the away support brought yesterday stunned me as a Villa fan. In the 11 years I've been a Holte Ender no-one has brought that volume to Villa Park before. Great game and a valuable 3 points for us though. UTV.

Hey Max. Well bugger me that was brilliant. I’m 55 and was there 27 years ago. God I feel old. Today we bossed that game. Awesome. Unai I got the best out of them and there were def tactics and a game plan in play. It’s early days but I’m hoping for a great future with Mr Emery. Good ebening. Up the Villa.
Today the real Villa team turned up today and man ure suffered our wrath. I think the whole team got together and played for the badge and they played their hearts out. Bailey had his best game for us and the Dendonker/ Louis midfield pairing worked really well. Goal of the match was Ramsey’s for me but he is one of our own. Great vid again UTV

The last time we beat Stretford Utd, it was the infamous "you'll not win anything with kids" comment on MOTD from Alan Hansen, I vividly recall the Holte singing "Man United where's Kanchelskis" and walking out of the ground in a euphoric haze..... great day, finders crossed many more to come.......

The second match I ever went to was Villa v Man U at Villa Park in '79. Dad took me and my brother. Got battered 3-0 and it really scarred me as a 10 year old. You could argue it set me up for life as a Villa fan. Anyway, on Sunday, I was Dad and I took two of my kids in a repeat of 1979. What a day. I feel like those demons have now been exorcised and all those years of hurt fell away in what was an exceptional day to be in the Hole End. VTID

My best day at VP ever was a 3-2 win over Man U in the old Division 2 (we both got promoted that season). Don't get there very much anymore but very jealous of the 40 odd thousand lucky ones today because I KNOW what the atmosphere will have been like. Best subs ever?? Two up and the subs killed the game off, when did Villa last do that?? Can we dare to dream?
