Yeah, sometimes, there just isn't anyone of SME's of specific application and all infra teams sit on call and eiher blame each other or say "all green on my end" - which it is - and want to drop off, but can't because issue is not resolved and not allowed, and everyone knows it's application specific. To add more, nobody knows the application flows and app guys give wrong IP addresses / hosts and just get everyone confused, sitting there for almost a week in a row (shifts ofc) but just because of the knowledge from app guys, not knowing what they support, or not having the brains to call out next level support, vendor of specific component, checking the app logs. Tragic. Windows, UNIX, Network guys are first to blame :)
Great video, thanks!I'm willing to check what if the client is sending PSH flagged packet after 35 secs from the previous packet. Is this something that I need to check on the client side? In my case, App server (app01) is constantly talking to a DB Server (db01), and randomly delaying the communication by 34 seconds, and after 34 seconds, the app01 is sending PSH,ACK to db01 and resuming the connection.I'm a bit confused where should I look for the problem. Is it app01 that's having problem or running low on resource or getting highly consumed, OR its the db01? Any suggestion would be highly appreciated. Thank you!
