Also huge shout out to Reilin, it was such a great conversation and we learned a lot from it!
Hey guys, those nasty telegram spammers are at it again in the comments.
GOOO REILIN 🔥 I had the wonderful opportunity of working with the dude a few times and he’s a true gentleman, one of the nicest guys, both on and off projects. I think his future is bright and I’m so excited to see where he’s headed! Good on you guys for shining some light on him, he deserves so much!
He is such an awesome guy! Like you said, a true gentleman and super nice! We had an amazing time during the podcast and definitely look forward to the day we could work with him on a project!
Thanks so much for the lovely conversation guys! You are absolute legends ❤️
Have been a big fan for couple of years now, so this really means a lot 🙏🏼💥
Thank you! Next time we're in Amsterdam we'll have to shoot a spec ad together!
And I'm your big fan Reilin.
YOU LEGEND REILIN HAS RETURNED WITH A EPIC CAR COMMERICAL! I LOVE YOUR COMMERCIALS AND VIDEOS THE MOST!
This is awesome! Everyone chops their podcasts up into short form but integrating segments into long form is a great way to highlight key ideas. Great work!!
So glad for you guys to create this video about Reilin. He's young and very inspirational!
Great interview! Love how you put this together, super helpful for filmmakers everywhere 💯
I have UA-cam is a great source, but there’s a lot of crap you have to watch to find the gems and that’s when I say, I wish I had found your channel 4 channels ago 😅. This is a great source of research thank you
I found Reilin's work recently and it's so inspiring! Great conversation guys, full of value!
Love to see more from Reilin. Dude is a genius 🔥🎥
Excellent interview as always! You covered a lot of great topics and the visuals were great as well. One thing people don’t see is the time, energy, and dedication to get to that level. Guarantee, Reilin’s got one heck of a work ethic. Good stuff!! 😎😎👍👍
100%, throughout the entire conversation having a solid work ethic, patience and the willingness to put in the time was a constant theme! Thank you for the kind words!
Man that is so cool to see, these insights into whats happening behind the scenes! Thank you for sharing!
This video is priceless. Exactly what I needed to hear right now, off to go make some more spec work!
Hell Yeah!
Thank you for this video its packed with so much to learn
this is an amazing video, love seeing people doing this sort of thing. I might give it a try myself.
This gonna help me a lot, Thankyou brothers
Love his work.
Knew this guy since your editing contest, stoked to see him back on the channel
IM SO HYPE
i know those streets in berlin, zürich, monaco. 100 of others had the same idea and put in the same amount of time/effort, so YES! the big difference is LUCK, not saying he didnt work for it but so did many others and it didnt work out for them
He got the skills to pay the bills...., but I bet he comes from a well to do family..., that's just the way it is. This can be a key or the only differentiator between mid and the top creators, TIME and dedication which this dude has in abundance . Freelance work is not easy and nomatter how good you are there are dry speels. Also to be clear he is not doing broadcast tv commercials, he does social media content so remove one or two zeros from the budget.
This video is such a inspiration booster!
Glad You liked it!!
LOOOOL u covered every topic except the part where what do u do if ur broke, iPhone only goes so far
This is crazy ! I feel like I do the same thing SPECIALLY networking but not as much. That means I have to double up on my work
So no edit challenges anymore??? Please make one we miss them a lott
Sometimes you gotta go out and get it, money and and your dreams won't just show up on your doorstep. If youre able to get the attention of a brand you love, or a music artist or anything else of that nature - this is how you do it and milk it to the fullest.
So underated video
Thank you!
What do you do with spec work? post it on your social media or send it directly to the company?
Reilin is the guy companies want when they're looking a new hire with 10+ years experience
Great Video.. I am Kinda New Into Media Industry... Photo - Video...
it is interesting how i find that most successful or long time in the industry.... share the same "Key Points" lol lol
incredible! where can we get his Lut its really an interesting lut
Bro
🔥
Am better encouraged now
🎉🎉🎉
❤
he is lucky to get a mate from school and access to Berlin streets
1080p?
Awesome video. But I don’t know about the great filmmaker needing to know editing. You can definitely argue that real filmmaking isn’t actually making content and it’s making films, in which case you hire people around you who know more than you do and can collaborate. In the commercial world it’s the same, a DP doesn’t edit the commercials and that sentiment definitely applies to content creation and videos like this with Ferrari but not on with everything
In the beginning you do everything and then gradually let others do parts of it till you are the one who just controlls the process but knows how things are done and knows what to demand what to expect and how to plan
@@booring2 yeah I think a good director or DP understand processes of the departments they control. But I know a lot of DPs that have never worked outside of the camera department and a few directors that went up through production and assisting directing, so they didn’t need the experience in post production. But you are right it just depends on what kind of ‘filmmaking’ you’re doing
That title feeding the vapid “success at a young age” idea is not the way forward. Social media created a lot of pressure to achieve something significant as early as possible, and that is the antithesis of what achievement is all about. If you are after a “gotta do THIS by the time I’m X years old”, you are not only setting yourself up for a very likely big disappointment, but also it shows that you don’t deserve it in the first place. You do you, regardless of age - as long as you are healthy and the objective still carries meaning to you, that’s all that matters.
I mean you are a human tripod, just need to place yourself at the right place and the right time
I dread the Social Media ares kissing part. I just don't want to be a Social Media Zombie and spend every. single. addicted. moment. I can be on there to please an avatar for a maybe. Face to Face or not at all. But we don't living in the physical world anymore. Humanity is Extinct.
i. have. seen. his. videos.
he's god.
First
sorry but that's not a commercial lol good looking images and shit, nice work but 0 storytelling. I can give more 10000 names on UA-cam of people that does what he does. no disrespect to him. but, in my opinion, it's one more content creator that thinks its a commercial director but there's a difference between director and filmmaker. peace
did you watch his Ferrari video?
@@TMSProductions ya. it’s my opinion tho 🤙
