      @@LizardLandscapes Very good message. I find myself struggling everyday with worldly influences. I try not to act or react to situations the way I used to, but I fail quite often with seeking his guidance before responding. Then I think back to not so long ago before I asked for his help, I questioned and doubted the lords very existence. Scripture and not people will give the answers one seeks. You just have to read it with not an open mind but an open heart.

    The plastic You used for wave (from a window envelope) is called cellophane (it yellows & becomes brittle over time) it's available by the roll at gift stores (where Bday Cards etc. are sold) or dollar stores. Alternatively, Acetate sheets or overhead projector plastic sheets where printer supplies & office supplies/stationery are sold.

    I'm doing a personal PC build with a beach theme for my home, office, and gaming setup, I wanted to add a beach diorama I wonder if I could fit this in my PC case.

    • @LizardLandscapes
      @LizardLandscapes  2 роки тому +1

      Sounds interesting. How would you go about incorporating it in the PC case?

    • @ChirstInTheDistance
      @ChirstInTheDistance 2 роки тому

      @@LizardLandscapes I'm gonna add it to the bottom of the case opposite the side of the power supply, I would like for it to extend to the full length of the bottom of the case horizontally.
      The only issue I'll probably have using this design method you present in the video is making the resin wrap around the power supply without actually touching it, but at the same time making it look like water naturally curving around an object. Because the way the resin stops at an angle in your dio in the video I would probably have to find a way to extend it and make it longer the same length as case, and shortened the width once it reaches the power supply unit in a way that makes it look as if it's curving around the power supply like water being redirected by a flood wall. And also finding some heat sensitive material to put between the resin and the power supply so the heat from want heat up the resin in cause it to melt.
      But as far as custom cables, sleeves, and rgb lights that's how I'm planning on trying to do the diorama for it.

    • @LizardLandscapes
      @LizardLandscapes  2 роки тому +1

      You'll have to send me a pic when done. Don't know if this will help; I'm working on a new dio whereby I'm using plastic from a dollar store food storage container that I can curve and subsequently have the resin stop at a curved angle instead of the usual flat edge. You could use the same type of plastic to build any shape, and force the resin to adhere to the form you want.

    • @ChirstInTheDistance
      @ChirstInTheDistance 2 роки тому +1

      @@LizardLandscapes I don't mind at all sending you a pic when I'm finished, also that dollar store container idea should work perfectly.
      I also got an extra idea from one of your other videos particularly the waterfall one, I'm gonna make just the waterfall part from it in make a smaller version of the beach diorama but place it near the top of the my case about to the height of the CPU, but I will use that container technique to curve the edges of the smaller version diorama in make the waterfall drop all the way down from the small beach diorama onto the bigger version at the bottom of my case. It all should look epic once I'm finished.

    • @LizardLandscapes
      @LizardLandscapes  Рік тому

    • @LizardLandscapes
      @LizardLandscapes  11 місяців тому +1

      I've made projects in the past where I thought it might be a good idea to insert a weight into part of the foam to counter balance the whole piece. I probably should have done that with this beach dio; whenever I pick up this project I always lift it by the resin. With trying to make sure the project won't topple, it would probably be a good idea to have a counter weight in some section of the foam. I hope this is close to what you're asking!

    When artists try to convince others to accept their religion, during artistic activities, they are involved with inappropriate activities. Religion and art activities like your video about dioramas, should NOT have any political or religious promotion as part of it. I have my own religious beliefs and thus found your "intermission" tedious, offensive and outright something that should never have been a part of your video on dioramas! Very much a turn-off!

    Why do you always imbed irrelevant nonsense in your videos? I KNOW you do t think it’s irrelevant, but you’re not evangelizing. All you’re doing is waving the flag of Christian tribalism.
    If you’re trying to use art to evangelize - just stop. All you’re doing is preaching to the choir. Everyone who avoids your little cult will just avoid your art.
