  • Nzulezo
    This is a village built on stilts dating back to the late 1300s. We are informed:
    Nzulezo/Nzulezu means the following:
    Nzule =/means "water"
    Zo/Zu =/means on top
    Thus in joining the meanings together, Nzulezo means = "on top of the water." Africalēnisi was made aware of Nzulezu/Nzulezo by a lady we encounter on the STC (State Transport Corporation) Coach/bus. It's always good to at times strike a conversation with others you know not. The encounter, trigger my interest to visit Nzulezu/Nzulezo, and the trip has been worthwhile.
    Africalēnisi, would encourage its viewers, audiences, and anyone with good intentions to visit. This village has been in existence when Emperor Mansa Kankan Musa was on the throne during the Mali Empire. Pretty impressive, to come to the realisation, that irregardless of all the negativity put out there about Africa and its inhabitants, the more these negative theories are being debunked.
    Africans have resided on Stiles for millenniums and we are seeing remnants of it today, even though the oppressor would have liked to have demolished or bombed the place up in order to continue to fuel the fire of prevarications to its illiterates
    Africa is a fast continent, and it shall always unveil hidden treasures to remind us all that Africa and its people, were in deed once the power of the world.
    We took a stroll on the Nzulezu/Nzulezo High Street, we visited a School and finally we tasted the villlage's renowned food à-chè-ke which was really nice.
    We wish the natives of Nzulezo/Nzulezu well, and we hope to visit them again.
    We hope you've enjoyed the footage/vlog thus far, and would encourage you to
