A few comments: The biggest difference between Lock & Lynch is that Lock actually made the Seahawks roster (Lynch failed up there to make the team). Lock should probably take stock of his situation and realized there's good money being a lifelong backup. He'll leave the NFL with millions if he examines the careers of Chase Daniel or Matt Flynn. Trevor Siemian is that guy you want as a backup to come off the bench and hold down the fort for 3 weeks. Always respected him. He was a 7th rounder for a reason, of course I imagine Wilson will have a better 2023 season, but it's entirely possible he's far beyond his prime as an athlete. Seattle is going to reap many rewards from that trade. I forgot that Case Keenum played the whole season. That was one of the most forgettable teams in NFL history. And finally, Kendall Hinton is the reason why I never say a backup QB shouldn't be on a NFL field. Hinton, bless his heart, proved you have to be incredibly good at QB even to be a third stringer. It just so happens the NFL is so difficult that maybe 15 guys on the planet are actually great at playing the position.
he couldve been great if vic fangio and pat shurmur didnt mess up his developement. He looked great his rookie year, but vic hated him and pat shurmur is just incompetent
6:33 it should be noted that Gary Kubiak DID NOT want Paxton Lynch. He pounded the table and pleaded with Elway to draft Dak Prescott and knew he would be available. Jerry Jones was ENAMORED with Lynch and was reportedly furious when the Broncos moved up to get him ahead of Dallas.
Why??? He said the falcons group gave up at least 35 points in three straight games, when they never even gave up 35 points or more in a game the whole season!!!!
Yeah. As a lifelong Broncos fan. This season really made me wish we had Teddy Bridgewater back. At least we had some hope for the future two years ago 😭
This is an asinine comment. Bridgwater was never going to be a starter and Drew Lock has shown plenty of times that he had tons of potential, but was thrown under the bus. He played the last 5 games of his rookie season, missing basically all of it due to injury. Then he played his first season as starter with OC Pat Shurmur (who just flopped out in COLLEGE FOOTBALL) and had one good game to open his first season as a starter until he got hurt and limped his way through the rest of the season. It was the same injury that made people believe that Baker Mayfield was washed in Cleveland (BECAUSE HE WAS INJURED), and that was it on Lock. He was winning the competition in Seattle before he got COVID, and Geno came up big for them. The Seahawks just gave him up to the Giants because they both believe he can beat out Danny Dimes. Fangio was a terrible coach and openly hostile toward Lock and admitted to not giving him any reps at practice and despite everyone saying Lock had the better camp, went with Bridgewater anyways. Fangio is a terrible piece of garbage human being and anyone who pays attentions knows this. I also screamed bloody murder the day the Russ trade was announced, as well as the contract, because I have football IQ and knew it would be a disaster.
I'm a fellow Raiders fan, and I thank the Broncos from the bottom of my heart for giving me something to smile about during our own embarrassing struggles (particularly this past year, on both ends.) To think their organization was more consistently good, or at least decent, with *Jay Cutler and Kyle Orton* as quarterbacks than they are now.
Agreed. I think Lock could have faired far, far better if the Broncos has stayed with Scangarello and an offense that suited him. Bridgewater was a joke with zero arm strength and no ability to spread the field.
Another point about 2017: Rookie Kyle Sloter played well in pre-season, and he looked like he was going to be the backup heading into the season. However, Elway foolishly cut him for Osweiler (Sloter was popular with fans, and maybe he had a Tebow flashback). Also, the next year, they did look at Josh Allen, and from what I heard, Elway got scared because of what happened with Paxton Lynch. They decided to take Chubb, who they didn't even really look at before the draft.

Hey Tubfrog, this video was pretty great and informative, and I appreciate the work. It go me thinking, tho. I know this is a big ask, but could you do a video about every Dolphins QB after Dan Marino? I know it'll be much more demanding than this was but as a Dolphin fan everyone needs to know how much we've silently suffered since Danny retired.

I really miss him tbh, it was a incredibly fun few years and it’s sad we’ve been in the basement these past few years. Still depressing the most memorable moment from the past few years was Tebow Time. Dude should’ve never been allowed to touch a football
Tebow has won more or just as many playoff games as Tony Romo, Andy Dalton, James Winston, Dak Prescott, Marcus Mariota, Carson Wentz, Derek Carr, RG3, Tyrod Taylor, Teddy Bridgewater, Geno Smith (as you can see most of these QBs get more opportunities because they're black)
from a raider fan to another it was a fun one to watch! 😂 great work with the video 👍🏼👏🏼 and i like that fact that you are able to joke on your own team saying if the raider intercept you, you really have issues lol 😂 👏🏼✌🏼👍🏼
I think Josh Allen might have failed in Denver before they gave him and the offense any real margin for error. Denver's problem, from my take them or leave them perspective, is an unwillingness to commit to one QB and let him develop in a stable, dedicated system. Not changing OCs and QB coaches every year also would probably be a step in the right direction.
@@peelslowly28 eh, they had 6 years of Tannehill. Sure not great, but at least he was mostly consistent and better than anything Denver had at QB since 2016. He probably would have been serviceable like he was with the Titans if they didn’t hire clowns like Philbin and Gase.

He passed for 5,477 yards with 55 TDs and only 10 INTs. Lastly a season long QBR of 115.1!! Yes Peyton Manning did this in 2013! On YT they show all of his 16 game from 2013. I’ve watched all of the games several times and I can recommend this for anyone wondering how to spend a day??? So what can any team hope to do to fill Peyton Manning’s shoes or “pick up Peyton Manning’s crown, dust it off, and put it on their head and wear it proudly! It is not going to happen! Mission Impossible for sure! Nice video. Just my idea, Maybe John Elway has no idea about picking a QB? When the Bronco threw $250,000,000 at the aging and failing Russell Wilson it convinced me that Elway had no clue about selection of a good QB. His chances of finding a replacement for Manning is below 0.0%, if that’s possible?
