@@BrianDavisraces It was wild to see the ambulance out more than once. I wasn't racing but it looked intense out there. Great atmosphere though!

first race was a RR in rural wisconsin, first time I saw a crit I was like NO WAY am I EVER doing that, but I think the very first crit was an industrial park crit in Madison (COLD early season race) and I think I made it but was so scared I was doing something wrong the whole time. I suspect that was around 2005
