Hello, guys! The amazing pre-painted resin terrain that you can see in some of my shots is from gamemat.eu. I am proud to announce that my top-tier Patreon supports now have a 10% discount on all gamemat.eu products! 😎 Check out their stuff at www.gamemat.eu/ !
Thanks a lot, guys! And yes, Legion models are really cool, and they give you a much wider range of modelling choices than say just Tamiya, Revell and older kits from other brands. Many Legion models never existed before in any form...other than maybe Lego!
Great tutorial again! Slightly off topic but I’m sure somewhere on your channel you did a tutorial on thoroughly cleaning your airbrush any idea where I can find it thanks?
Have you ever considered adding more dirt/grime to the mini in places like joints, wheels, etc? A lot of Star Wars vehicles look better with caked-on wear and tear.
Thanks a lot, and I couldn't agree more. I believe the hobby is like being a craftsman - a lot is honed by repetition, but there must also be some experimentation from time to time!
I'm afraid there is more metal coming soon! In the meantime, you could check my videos on Stormtroopers, the TX-130, TX-225, and AT-ST. I don't play Clones, though, but I will be doing Snowtroopers.
Hi Robert, thank you very much. Yes, you can - and it can also be applied with a sponge. But what will get you best results if you don't have an airbrush is a can of hairspray - apply a couple of light coats the way you would with a rattlecan primer. Have fun!
@@robertaftanas7916 Yes, but do no let either the hairspray OR the paint dry for more than until touch dry. Also, a varnish before the hairspray will help avoid any issues. Would you like me to do a video on this, perhaps...? ;-)

Great video! Enjoyed this one - and the Legion models are very interesting...

Never used pigments, this is the perfect model to start.
Enjoyed your work as always 👍
Thank you kindly, Mmp Kao! Yes, I do think it'd make for a first go at pigments. Have fun, pigments are like a child playing with mud, as you can see!
Fantastic paint job! Great to see
Thanks a lot, Steve, glad you liked it!
Really like your content I don't understand why you don't have 100k subscribers yet ... keep the videos coming🤙
Thanks very much, Harry! I will do my best, but not gonna lie, it can be disheartening at times. The Snail Tank video took me around 14 hours to edit…
Great tutorial again! Slightly off topic but I’m sure somewhere on your channel you did a tutorial on thoroughly cleaning your airbrush any idea where I can find it thanks?
Hi Jason, thanks a lot! It was a chapter inside my "metallic paints" video, at 2'53". ua-cam.com/video/GHbNM8AAaVI/v-deo.html

Sure, I could do that in a matter of minutes, but this big boy is already very dirty! Have you seen the pigments step?
Incredible job as always!
Are there any plans for a video on B1 Battle Droids?:)
Thansk a lot, Yannic! I built a bunch of B1s with my son, but I suck at painting small models...so...maybe?
Great video and excellent work. It’s always challenging trying new things, but it’s good to see you being unafraid of doing so.

stunningly gorgeous work, as always!
Now someone likes hyperbole! :p No, seriously, thank you very much. Means a lot coming from you, Leo!
The model is truly a bonkers creation and it's great to see you having such fun with it. Excellent video, as ever!
Heheh, thank you, Rick, and yeah, it's pretty out there, isn't it?
Great work my friend :D
Thank you, James!
Where did you get the model?
A local shop...
Nice Channel~
You always do metal can you do some SW legion clone troopers???
I'm afraid there is more metal coming soon! In the meantime, you could check my videos on Stormtroopers, the TX-130, TX-225, and AT-ST. I don't play Clones, though, but I will be doing Snowtroopers.
@@TheRaceForTerra thank you
Brilliant video! Just wondering as I don't own an airbrush at the moment can I paint the chipping fluid on by brush?

@@TheRaceForTerra fantastic I have an AAT that needs painting. When I have done the hairspray can I use a rattle can to paint over?
@@robertaftanas7916 Yes, but do no let either the hairspray OR the paint dry for more than until touch dry. Also, a varnish before the hairspray will help avoid any issues. Would you like me to do a video on this, perhaps...? ;-)
@@TheRaceForTerra that would be awesome 👌
I did search for a video using hairspray but there not many that go into much detail.
