And I love how "dancing on quicksand" gives this image of being so happy about a relationship you dont even realize youre losing the person you love. Realizing your relationship is falling apart and just enjoying what you can while you still can. I still dont know if this song makes me happy or sad but I'm obsessed with it and I listen to it non stop
The real trick is to have good headphones so you can appreciate the vocal harmonies during the chorus and little splashes of engineering like in the intro before the 1st verse. There's so many layers to love.
