    ABOUT THE SHOW🎬
"HOW THEY DID IT" a show that tells the authentic story of African businesses whilst drawing lessons for upcoming entrepreneurs.
    The Challenge:
There is a growing demand to tell our stories. Most of the stories told online are of foreign businesses, and where you find an African story, it is most likely a surface-level interview that aims mostly to motivate and not necessarily teach.
This is the unique value of this show:
In addition to it being designed to educate, motivate, and inspire, which is truthfully a key factor in boosting self-confidence, we will be emphasizing key lessons from the video interviews.

So much lessons from one video but my key take away is build structures if you want to build a sustainable business. your customers are your biggest asset. thank you Tricia for this, God bless you.

As a marketing person, there are a whole lot of valuable marketing lessons here. She has a natural business mind. Sales, manufacturing, wellness, platform business model (SaaS), consulting, education etc. This is Oriki Holdings. Weldone Joycee. Your business mind should be a case study in universities.

Decided this will be my sat relaxation: watching "How they did it"
I love that I chose this episode. I have always known Joyce for structures, but if there is anything obvious from everything she said, it's branding. The collective effort into how the brand is perceived helped her build several subsidiaries.
It's important to put the work into how one is perceived. It determines who wants to associate with us going forward.
    We cannot build without collaborating.
Another thing that stood out was the fact that her valuation is at $10,000 without any external funding.
    I am like what!
    That is badass bootstrapping.
Thank you Tricia for these series.
