Hello UA-cam!!
OMGG YOUTUBBEEEE
When UA-cam themselves comment your video, you know you made it ! 😅🫡
this is the first time i've seen UA-cam comment on a video. and i agree
What the fuck.
You've got 2 fault codes that are the reason your DPF keeps filling up. That "turbocharger/supercharger overboost condition" fault code is due to your throttle body sticking. Replace the throttle body, do an air path setup and regen. You also have a pressure sensor fault code. Definitely do the throttle body first. Then use live data to see if the DPF pressure sensor is reading correctly. I can send you pictures of what the DPF pressure sensor voltages should look like.
Spoken like a true person in the know, beat me to commenting this.
At last some sense diagnose correctly I’m shocked Mallory performance didn’t say something or maybe they did and that’s for another video dpfs don’t just block up for no reason
It used to be a Land Rover technical bulletin. The related fault codes mat has match to the bulletin. Throttle body requires replacement then a regen afterwards.
So much unnecessary labour on this! As you said it will need a throttle body and air path setup
@@mrwells123456789 i agree they dont just block up if the whole system is working correctly.A 20 min drive on the motorway once a week should be enough to allow it to do a passive regen. Ive had alot of heartache with DPFs over the years and found this out, but i am by no means an expert . What i will say though is they do have a "life" but it can be extended by back flushing as the ash doesn't get burned off and eventually completely clogs the DPF, however it looked to me in this video that they were flushing the DPF the wrong way. I did this on my SQ5 and never hd any DPF issues since. Not sure what the back pressure is but i assume its more or less like it was a brand new DPF. Keep up the good work Mat!
Can we start a crowdfunder to stop Liam from driving? 😉
😂😂😂
@@liamcareyBMX mate that's some epic car you got.
😂😂😂
Can we get crowdfunding to help support his English language skills?
He needs to be a part timer so he has unlimited access to fix the wheels
Met Liam at our school doing some electrical work in his Audi, wondered what was happening with his wheels but didn’t ask, really good to see the update, good work.
For the hole on the transmission tunnel from the Murciélago, add some sheets of carbon fiber and resin. As for the interior, I'd consider paint some green leather sections black, or even consider a new interior with a sponsorship similar to Tavarish's Murciélago.
If you do consistent high miles and longish journeys with the engine at temp, you shouldn't have any dpf issues as it will regen automatically.
These have a common issue with the DPF cracking on the inside so it prevents regen
@@BigHumz155 Ahhh I see
My mk8 transit had the same dpf issue. Luckily the local mice climbed inside and chewed out the innards. They are clever and also deleted the dpf and egr out the ecu and gave me 200bhp. The mot man said it’s fine the dpf is still there along with all sensors etc 😁. No more issues
Funnily enough I had the nice too on a mk5 golf 😂😂
You don't have emissions testing during MOT?
Crazy how far you’ve come from the TT on your drive, to own two lambos and an Aston plus a plethora of other cars, done a madness! 😮
Keep it up man honestly , your content is a escape for me , good luck man
Same
Just recently discovered your main channel after watching the short video's and I haven't stopped pressing the like button ever since! Great channel! Fair play... Amazing content
I use Dipetane in my diesel. Brilliant product. Worth a look up. Helps keep dpf clean. Great video guys.
I work for jlr head up the overboost code is for the throttle body sticking also usually the dpf won’t regen due too the map sensor located on the throttle body completely blocked with soot simple
Clean and regen 👌🏻
DPF can fill due to an intake leak. Check all intake hoses. It will quickly fill if you have an intake leak even if you use it on a motorway. Known issue on the 4.4 tdv8. Help is at hand on the Full Fat forum.
I am really loving this back-stage channel, it really gives a closer look at matt's itself
You're smashing it on this channel I just see them as one big channel with even more to give 🙌
Didn't even realise this was a 2nd channel video until you pointed it out at the end, even your "extra" footage is top quality entertainment 👌🏻
Matt, I feel so lucky to have found your channel, it's the best on UA-cam by a mile!
Nice to see Kevin out n about 👍
That Range Rover airbag cover ever since you painted it I can’t help but notice it’s so much glossier than the rest of the leather 🫣
Hi Mat! Watching your both channels all the way from Chile! Really enjoy all your videos! I´m missing any updates on the 635csi!
i REALLY want you to make more vids, they are really good!
Mat you are doing a really good job. A million miles better than when you first started.
Keep the content coming... good to see the other cars feature.
A dpf equates to roughly 1 gram soot per 1 hp loss in real terms which can be significant dependant on how you treat the dpf & force the regen to activate.
Thanks for the video matt. Them wheels look sick!!! 👌
Just discovered your channel, learned how you got started, well done you got to take a chance and go for it,you did most wouldn't and then begrudge your success,FO to them,my father is still panel beating at 72,no dozer or liner work, handy No's,in and out in 2 days and quick 🐒 in payment, best of Irish luck too you 🇮🇪. 🍀
Love these odds and sods videos on this channel. Always a pleasure to watch you do your thing MA. Legend.
Visited RE performance once to collect a friend’s RS6, surreal seeing so many R8s and lambos crammed in the parking area!
Love the channel and the range rover looks amazing murdered out 🔥💯
Great video and nice colour choice for Kevin's Audi.
Loving the xtra helping of videos were getting with M-A 2
“4 minutes of blasting, don’t know about that”
None of us do mate 😂😂😂
Mat, you never fail to amaze. Keep up the awesome work 😎.
Love your channel mate it’s an amazing achievement what you’ve done, I would love to see you take on something like a high spec Mercedes S Class perhaps in the future in the future, (Mainly because I’m a bit of a Mercedes fanboy not just because of F1 I just think the S class models especially are awesome) keep up with the amazing work you do 🤘🏻
Gut the dpf and map it out and while your there map out the egr, job done, makes a huge difference, frees it all up and no mot worries, weve done loads, in fact we have a Ducato in now for dpf gut and map, 130hp to 190, no restrictions or clogging up ever again. Considering you have de catted a few cars im surprised you havent gutted it.
I love the MK2 in your second channels name 🤣 you should buy a city golf MK1 and build it up and make it green 😭😍❤️
Hi there . I like the content. Mat is a hard and talented worker and supper positive!!! Regards from California. ✊
Quick question Matt once’s the DPF is clean will it get blocked again and also how much do u think land Rover would have charged you
Mat, get the egr deleted or replaced as it could be jammed open. Clogging the inlet manifold with carbon.
Secondly. Check the running temperature is at around 90 degrees.
It could have a weak thermostat. So it could be running at a lower temperature.
So the fuel isn't being burnt off correctly.
This will block the dpf too.
Been a while. Still worth it.🔥❤
Ricky’s snap on dealer is rubbing his hands together
This still my favourite build🔥🔥
How nice was it to remove those exhaust bolts. I worked at Jaguar Land Rover for 5 years and they are nice cars and tight space to work on
Make life easier for yourself! Add some Redex DPF Cleaner to the fuel tank. It reduces the temperature that the soot burns at. It really does work.
Loving the second channel vids
Mat never disappoints
A notification bell is not enough. UA-cam should call me when Mat uploads a video
🤌🏾🇿🇦
Wheels look great!
👍fully enjoyed the process
The podcast you done with Mark McCann was brilliant on rotbox podcast, you are such a positive person. Kevin looks more excited to get in that garage than you 😂
Puts a smile on my face every time I hear that Lambo go 👍🏻
I love this second channel!
Damn, we gotta wait till tomorrow for another legendary video
Kevin's on a mission. My bully xl always on a mission in a different direction to me
I had the same problem with my 2017 3.0 diesel vogue. I had one of them hydrogen engine cleans done to the engine. Cost me I think around 120 pound engine ran like new with more power and never had a problem after. Did not even need to touch a bolt. Then had a dpf delete done and got even more power. My fault code said over boosting and was turbo actuators sticking from city driving. Range Rover wanted silly money for new turbos. !!!!!!!
The jlr diagnostics sdd does remove the sooth without removing the exhaust
Loving the side channel
Threaten Liam that he will have to go with STEEL wheels if he "Curbs" them again! Who knows, it may work. LOL! 🤣🤣🤣
Seriously though, been enjoying the builds you have already done and look forward to your next video.
did u go to the lil skate shop along from RE performance?
Thinking of applying for a mechanic apprenticeship would it be a good idea?
use to have these problems until I started to put Redex in, then I never had a problem again.
Nice vlog. Keep up the good work.
Hahaha the wheel mania guy is my next door neighbour 😂
Great channel 🔥 but I thought Hannah’s channel was the BTS channel 😂
the cars you touch turn into magic I cant wait to see you finish up your dream car( green lambo)
BTS content is elite 🎯🐐
I love the wrap on Liam's car !!!! what wrap is it please !
My favorite Channel 🙌🏼🤗❤
Cut open the catalytic & remove all the dirt inside
Hannah pumping in the kill zone 🤣🤣
So many cars, so much to do!!! What fun!
The noise on that lambo 😂 ridiculous mat
Is there not a DPF pressure hose to pump cleaner into?
Still think you need to get the SVR Bonnet for this Range!!!!
Great video Matt 👍
Glad you enjoyed it
I’d love to see some shorts on this channel
Do that to your diablo oem wheels to make them perfect
Liam should get a monthly subscription to Wheel Mania. I think it would be cheaper to refurbish the wheels :)
also need some 'save the combustion engine' tshirts. 👍
Kevin in TOTAL denial right there! (Stealth Dog farts) love the way he is just looking straight out the window!
Cheers from Estonia
Liam needs those Rimskins
Good Video Mat ;)
Love it Matt ❤.
Couldn't you do a static regeneration
Static re-gen not possible on a RR ? just done my MK 7 Transit, 40 mins at 2.5K, exhaust gets a tad hot though 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Go Mat ! Never stop meh duck 🔥
Savage Mat great friend you are to Liam lucky fella
Just add the twin turbos 1 time before refitting the engen in the lambo
AND on the second channel, so I won't miss any... thanks Mat!
Mat have you altered the headrest so you can wear you cap back to front 😄😄
Welcome to Swindon , full of traffic
Please change the oil Matt these JLR 3.0 diesels are famous for washing the crank when the dpf blocks
Well heck, there WAS a second channel! Thumb-up 🙂
How often do you need to cleanse the DPF.. I have a RR with 55k on it
If so how much?
You should have use a dyno to do dpf procedure 😂
outstanding contents
I bought a new car for my wife some years ago and was unaware of DPF once I Found out I sold the car within 8 months and happily took the financial hit, because as an engineering concept DPF is no better than sticking an oily rag up the exhaust and expecting it to run properly… there was no way a manufacturer was going to pass down these maintenance costs for poor engineering. I have stuck with petrol ever since. Now we have OPF filters in petrol,so I don’t buy new cars anymore… good luck with the cleaning it doesn’t work and degrades over time.
throw the dpf in a really hot fire for a few hours then bang the burnt carbon out as dust x
Change the word ‘mine into ‘ours’ mate 😉 Her input is massive and she problably takes great care of you 😋
