- Hello everyone
In this week's video, I'm making a brake for my vice to bend sheet metal. There are many challenges in the workshop, and one of them for me is precisely bending sheet metal to make covers for things like the encoders on my mini lathe. - Наука та технологія
From one amateur/hobbyist welder to another, those look pretty good!
Your video is fine brother. Thanks for sharing! I Love your vise you use outside. You should do a restoration video on it. Take care bro.
I've got a tu2004 and about to put a multifix and dro on it, love the content👍👌🇦🇺
Yes the multifix was the best upgrade for the late. it just makes using your lathe so much mote enjoable when you dont have to spend 5 minites chanching a tool
What size did you put on the tu2506?👍👌🇦🇺
Size A acctualie was a dropin replacment for me i didn‘t even have to make an arbor like you see in many instalations
@@machinesfromscratch I've just got the size A multifix post delivered today, I'm about to open it. I know there's a 20mm boss hole on the bottom, my compound boss is only 18mm with 10mm bolt, I'm going to make a shim to fit for now, and then a compound delete and solid mount when I get the dro delivered. Did you do 1um on the crossslide and 5um for the carriage? 👍👌🇦🇺
No i did 5um on bothe because if i ned to be more accurate than that i will just use a micrometer to dial it in
