The Japanese need to fight in samurai armor gear and samurai swords... Each nation should be allowed to wear their own armor and use their own national weapons.
The armor used by samurai was tailor made, and they trained years to use it. They were made using metal plates tied together with silk. The colors used in the armor also carried messages from clan membership to "I'm going to die today", etc. The armor weighed as little as 15kg in some case, while european armor that covered the same areas could weigh up to 40kg depending on the material and craftsmanship.
@Frostdragon: Only partial Japanese armor weighs 15kg, just like in Europe. but if we speak of complete harness then samurai armour can reach 30kg while a late medieval full plate harness will be often around 25kg. Only jousting armour not used in battle weighs more than 30kg in Europe. Furthermore, people who've worn both attest that the european exoskeleton is less movement impeding than the ''hanging apron'' design of the Samurai's protections.
how do people NOT get RUN through? like impaled with long spikes? there are pikes that will poke right thru armor.... so i wonder how many time that happens?

Nah... Just nah. Articulated plate weighed somewhere around 20 kilos which is about the same that modern infantry carry into combat. Samurai and other similar Eastern armour weighed around the same however it doe not cover the entirety of the legs or arms. It also did not spread the weight evenly across the entire body therefore it would feel heavier. The armour would also be tailor fitted to the user and he would've spent years training how to use it.
Just watched a documentary on battle of nations and Poland are one of best teams there.. It's all about medieval battles with knight armour so no samurai armour n shiz!
mmm samurai armor is good if you're fighting other samurai. if you're fighting knights whom the samurai never encountered of course their armor would not be effective against it
what i admire most about samurais, there honor and there faithfulness with there women.
And they were some of the most brutal warriors of their time. With their own chivalrous ways and discipline. A perfect fighting force!

I don't think that would be safe. I've read that samurai armor probably wouldn't be able to withstand hits from European swords.
