Hi James, just subscribed to your channel, bad luck getting a puncture, was out on my Hornet yesterday, nice getting out, although the weather was a bit miserable, but it was dry, look forward to more of your videos, hope you get your tyre sorted soon.

Thanks for watching, mate! I love Conway - such a great place to live for biking. I'll have to get down that way again soon! Fantastic choice on the gb350s, too. I love the look of those. My father in law is getting on as soon as it comes out, too. All the best pal 👍

Enjoyed that. I've been out today on my CL500 on the country lanes. Living in Shrewsbury, I know all the roads you went on yesterday! Really bad luck getting a puncture and usually a bit unnerving. As far as the Superbike Factory are concerned, I'd avoid any 'only used' motorcycle dealer. Better off going to a franchised dealer, preferably near where you live.
Hope you enjoyed your xmas, take care and ride safe.

Thanks for watching, mate. I love this route and always enjoy riding around Shrewsbury - such a great area! Nice one for the advice, too! I would definitely prefer to buy from a franchise dealership, so I'll be checking those our first. All the best, and I hope you had a good Christmas, too 👍

Thanks for watching, mate! Yeah, I'm expecting a huge increase. Like everything else these days, another rip-off! I'll just suck it up and take the hit, but not looking forward to it.
Hope you had a great Christmas anyway. All the best 👍

Thanks for the offer, mate. I would love to, but I'm not back on the road yet. I've not been able to get my tyre sorted, so I'm unsure when I'll be back on the road again, sadly. Worst time of the year to get a puncture, so it seems!

Sorry to hear that, mate. That doesn't sound ideal, but I'm glad you got picked up at least! I was lucky and had a good 4G signal where I stopped. Otherwise, I'm not sure what I would have done. All the best anyway, and thanks for watching 👍

If you're considering BMW F800GS you might want to take a spin up to Halliwell-Jones Chester. I had great service and backup from them. Defo recommend them. So unlucky to get that puncture. Big lesson there........ Not many tyre shops will plug a motorcycle tyre so you may end up having to get a new tyre. Numerous youtubers will say they're safe to use, personally I feel a plugged tyre on a M/C is only an emergency repair and should be replaced. Your choice. Have a great Christmas

Thanks for watching, John! Really appreciate the advice, too. I'll check out Halliwells and will see what the garage says about the tyre. I may plug it temporarily just so I can get out and about over the next week and order a new tyre in the meantime. Thanks again, and I hope you have a great Christmas, too 👍

We're lucky in Shropshire and across the border to have some great roads to hand, although Wales is getting more like a movie set with the amount of cameras nowadays, which have spoiled a lot of good biking routes.
Unlucky on the puncture but while tyre shops may frown upon tyre plugs, there should be no problem having it repaired properly afterwards, a new tyre seems like overkill? While I fully appreciate it's down to the individual, I've run a plugged tyre (mid tread) on my Hayabusa for over 3k and its now coming up for replacement anyway, it's about all I get on a rear. My previous XJR also ran plugs too. But anyway, your money, your choice.
As an aside, I'm toying with a 1200xe in the new year, fancy something different from road bikes, the wrists are feeling it nowadays after 200 mile days out.

@@NewRiderDiaries i have a local bike repairer in north Devon who is more than happy to remove the tyre and replace the roadside plug with a mushroom headed plug from the inside, obviously canter tread repairs only. I take the wheel in so if you cant do that it may not be cost effective. had several done in the past with no problems. happy new year to you.

@_captain_underpants thanks for the advice pal. I'll be taking the bike to the garage tomorrow to see what they say. It's in a good spot and just went straight in and out so hoping it's an easy repair. I'll get a new tyre though if they are not entirely happy so it's all good.
Totally agree about the cameras.around Wales - it's ridiculous and great choice on the potential new bike, I love those! All the best and thanks for tuning in 👍

@@mikethebikemt07tracerthanks mate and happy new year to you too! I'm taking the bike to the garage tomorrow so hopefully I'll be back on two wheels in no time whatever they suggest. I'm hoping it will be an easy fix as it's in a good spot but I'll let you all know on the next video 😀👍
