Interesting video and clear explanation. If I add an adult, at checkout time, will it give you an option to choose which payment method will be charged (primary account holder or the newly added family member)?
Question: i dont quite undestand the share wallet thing. Does that mean we will literally be sharing the same wallet,? How will i know if she is dpending mmoney? Im confused
Great video, thanks! Question, can each person added to the profile see past orders? Looking for a way my family can all use Prime but not see eachothers purchases 😊 (I.e. Christmas) thanks!
@@Sneha-rz8wh I heard you can, which is how I came across this video - Christmas is coming! Maybe if you shared your account you will see all past purchases, but once you get the household account (different wallet maybe?) they should be separate. Anyway, that's what google said and that's what I'm trying to do. Give it a go!
I was told NO. So if there are things that he has on his account that he may need for returns etc. He will need to keep that account but don't order from it.
My fiancee added me to her account, but how do I know I am added to her account? When I login to amazon, it still looks the same with my separate prime membership details. I have chosen to not renew my membership which expires in 4 days, expecting to use her prime benefits. Will my account switch to some sort of household sharing screen once my membership expires? Do you know what that looks like for someone who has been added? I'm assuming the point of this is so only one household member needs to pay for prime, hence my letting my membership expire. Is there some additional step, or something I missed?
Not sure this works as advertised. I (adult) have a Amazon Prime account and want to add my adult wife. I've sent two email requests using the page at Amazon. Today I followed this video and the add adult button does NOT work.

I'm in student trial, brother says I'm sharing benefits but it's actually not sharing
That option isn’t there for me. I only have remind me before renews it and end membership option when I select “Membership “.
Jup, same here... I think it's only for the USA, maybe?

so can the other adult have there own email to use for prime or do they have to login to your account ?
I am adding my husband to my account. Will his past orders & saved credit cards still be available to use?

What about sharing prime tv at a family members house
Great video. super helpful thanks.
Do you see what the other adult orders when you have Amazon Prime Household and do both people have to pay for prime?
No! You’ll create your own separate account
doesn't work

That is correct. You should just start seeing all of the Prime benefits on both accounts when you login. Such as Prime Shipping, Prime Video, ETC.
Great to watch
