You and I shared the exact same experience while watching this. I clicked the video thinking I would be dying laughing but it quickly went sour for me.
And what makes it worse is knowing that a large portion of that remaining time will still be spent working to afford the basic shit and rent, and not getting to see the world and what it has to offer before we leave it...

Aww. Some are funny but painful! I’m at the age where any of them could easily be ME. We so take our youth and agility for granted when we have it. The first time something doesn’t work as well as it used to, it’s all downhill from there!
I’m there! It’s hard to accept but after a couple injuries, I must accept it.
Aww take care of yourself Judy. I’m constantly searching UA-cam for exercises to strengthen and relieve pain in problem areas. I’m getting better results from UA-cam than I was from that Physical Therapist that was costing me too much!
I'm nearly 60 and have nurses use the phrase "at your age" a lot to me now. Which is really annoying. I work full time, take my dogs walkies 3 times a day and every medical test I have outside of my stage 3 kidney disease (hereditary not age related) comes back clean. I do have to pull myself up off the floor with a lot of grunting though, and putting socks on is a trial :)

The older gentleman with the phone made me quite sad.
I tried to give my grandfather a smart phone a few days before he died since he wanted to videocall people.
But his fingers were so cold (I don't know if due to the nerve damage he had or just hands getting colder as you age) and his muscle control was so poor that the phone just wouldn't register his finger movements, even when I pressed his finger down on the phone for him. He never got to use a smart phone :/

My late father was a manual worker all his life and would be up and down scaffolding like a squirrel. When he was late 70's and very sick his brain still felt young and able to do things but his body had other ideas. I was his live in carer for 12 years till he died and I'd often find him stuck somewhere. To this day I don't know how he managed to get the heavy step ladder out of the garage and drag it into the living room, then climb to the top to change a bulb. I got home and found him stuck up there unable to get down!! And I still had to change the bulb as he'd left it on the floor next to the ladder 😂
