Bro saved me from making a fatal mistake
I was gonna return my pc case as there was a standoff in the middle which did not have a hole as i thought that the case was faulty
ALSO I AM BUILDING A PC FOR THE FIRST TIME
THANKS FOR SAVING ME FROM A MISTAKE😅
SAME
Most build videos on youtube doesn't show how to install the motherboard into the case. I always find that very frustrating.
Yeah wtf I can find almost no information about mb standoffs and the manual is esl with very little info other than a diagram with not enough info. Frustrate.
they really need bwtter manuals, hyte or whatever is a map layout style of pictures with no words, you either a throw stands off where ever or don't use them at all. i dislike everyone demanding you build pcs because a b c reasons, most gudies just don't go in deep enough details, my first pc i failed to build definitely didn't have standoffs and i never plugged in the power button because i just didn't know. i was doomed to fail because of UA-cam.
if i had it now i could build it in no time flat. newer pcs are a nightmare, lquid cooling cpu, trying to get the radiator straight if you have a bracket tray, you can install it wrong.
last Sunday i set out to build a pc but due to the hyte case, i spent serval hours only on installing the radatiors and fans to the bracket and because the picture made me think the hoses would be opposite side of fans i got it in but upsidedown. even after getting help, we both literally couldn't get it to go in correctly depsite them working with tools and screws as a job. and to further add i took off rhe daisy chain and forget how it was plugged together. literally no info on Daisy chain anywhere and UA-cam will all do rhe same thing use hub use hub,
building isn't noob friendly yet no one makes a buy and build guide
Can I get the link for the adapter for the standoffs?
What if the case comes with no screws 🥲
i didnt use these standoffs when i mounted motherboard. you also didnt use them in step by step building video (lancool 3). Is that problem?
What bit is that?
what about the gpu support bracket where do i put that now that fucking m.2 ssd is in the way
👍👍👍
I never do this. I also don't put the screws in some of the hard to reach places. What's the worse thing that will happen?
Your motherboard might short and not work since its not properly lifted from the case and might touch your case = short
@@mxrt0 Thank you. I just can't get them in right! I'll take them to a shop, I guess.
What happens if you remove all standoffs? 😅
nothing you can't screw in the motherboard and you need to either put new ones in or the ones you unscrewed back in.
well, your motherboard just wont screw in
You guys are both wrong well… IN MY CASE 😉 lol as I wrote this AFTER I installed the motherboard and removed all standoff screws. Pc still turned on but the cables weren’t connecting properly
@@TwoSmoker420 where the hell did you install the motherboard if you removed the standoffs??
@@zaki8245 it screwed into where the stand-off screws would screw in. Was my first pc build and I sorta missed the whole point of a stand-off screw until I realized that’s why it wasn’t aligned properly
