- CrossFit phenom Haley Adams experienced a meteoric rise to the top of the sport, but it came at a cost. Obsessed with making it to the podium, Haley spent all of her time in the gym, falling into unhealthy patterns. It took a step back from the sport she loved for her to see that she needed to obsess over her healing process. Haley has been working to rebuild her relationship with friends, family, and food -- and she's using WHOOP to help her do that.

You are such a superhero Haley - thank you for making our lives better with or without CrossFit - you are loved for who you are
Extremely tight that ya'll decided to share this. I really love this. This is so good.
Best decision ever. You are more than just a Crossfitter. Keep smiling.
She started off very young. I could see how that would become very mentally taxing. I applaud her for recognizing the problem and dealing with it. Not everyone would have that level of good judgement and foresight at such a young age.
Takes a brave person to admit and share the struggle with mental health. Good job for putting your needs first and courageously taking care of you
looking forward to the comeback!
I needed to hear this. Thank you
That cat needs to do some CrossFit!!
So proud of you putting yourself first 🙏🏻. You are a beautiful example of a strong young woman, wishing you all the best 🙏🏻
Haley is awesome.
Thank you for this video 😢
Super proud of you Haley. I’m glad things are looking better for you! ❤🎉
Haley....Good for you in acknowledging what YOU need.
We miss you Haley!
You’re an inspiration Haley🥰🥰
Proud of you. Keep trusting in the Lord. ❤
Very encouraging video ☺️
I love that at such a young age you are learning to put yourself first. Only you can be your best friend to your body and your mental health.
Very good 👍 💯✅👏
Mind Body Spirit.
They all need our attention
Thank you 🙏 for sharing
I know she is struggling with her self image but she looks so much healthier and she looks like she’s gained healthy weight. She looks beautiful!
Love it!
This video is a God send. Im transitioning from a 12 year long career for several reasons (family, balance, mental health) to a more balanced career. Ive been struggling with this move but watching this video lets me know that im not alone 🤙
Athletes' mental health is very important, especially within these pros, and it is not being addressed. I have been asking athletes to speak more about it and what they're doing about stress of excellence and failures. But they don't speak about it. Especially the crossfit hq. I know it's all about the $$ but it will be too late when they finally do.
good for her 1000%.... it takes MORE strength to do what she did! shes setting a great example for other people 🏳️🌈 🇺🇸
It would definitely take more strength to push through and win the games but ok
It's a grind at that level for sure. Rest up and hopefully you will come back 💪🏻 and if you don't, there is life beyond being a competitive athlete.
I participate in and love Crossfit personally. But this sounded like a story of how crossfit ruined her life 😅(at that time)
Possibly less normal CrossFit ruined her and more the elite level / CrossFit games. I can imagine it takes its toll on some younger athletes - remember she’s only like 23. This is where I’d like CrossFit to support athletes with mental health professionals similar to most other sports
She seems like such a cool and genuine person
Good for you girl. Enjoy your youth
Is this along the same lines as what Mal O'Brien is going through?
❤️
❤ Haley
Good for Haley! I wonder if that's what happened to Mal O'Brien.
Y’all took someone’s mental health problems and fame to create a commercial to boost sells and make money….wow
I think this is what happened to mal, just starting real young and alot of pressure to be great
I think we can honestly say that they were not playing for America. So we are not responsible for these loosers.
Needed some money so made a commercial
Sitting around with friends doesn’t pay the bills
bruh
💜🦾🐰
I am a fan...can't wait to see her back on the floor if that is what she chooses to do.
Yeah good for her on acknowledging her issues. But still getting paid to promote a product that ultimately has no effect.
Crossfit?💀
Very nice
