I am currently trying to 3d print a model that I created in Sketchup. The model is a solid, I have used clean up and solid inspector with no errors. I made sure that everything in the model is large enough to print but I will say the model is somewhat complicated. When I open in Cura it shows up with errors (red surfaces) and when I try to print There are faces missing and it ultimately doesn't work. Should I look into a different slicer program? What would you recommend? Has anyone had this issue before?
Alas... it is nearly impossible for anyone to guess what the issue might be! You may try asking someone at Cura, or sharing your SketchUp file on our forum (forums.sketchup.com) and asking for help there.
Hitting "tab" in Solid Inspector... that's gold! Never knew about that. Great video!
Me either...
Great video! 👍👍👍
Thanks Aaron useful info there.
Amazing 😮❤
Welcome back

Nevermind! I had to remodel the entire thing from scratch but then it printed.
👍
Uhm... Is anyone going to address the purple hair?
I think it’s the studio lighting…
Yup... a pink rim light helps with the green screen and adds a "technical flair"
@@SketchUp I was thinking you were re-living the old punk rock days or maybe a Halloween thing! 🤣😂🤣
