Challenging Links Course One of only 18 golf clubs in the world that can trace its origins to the 18th century, Fraserburgh Golf Club moved to Philorth in 1891 and has been playing there ever since. This is a real links course. The out nine are tough, especially in the north-east wind, but the back nine are very playable, with several interesting holes which require careful positioning. I’ve been planning a golf trip to Scotland for my 50th in two years. I am going to change a lot of my plans and go to as many of the courses you went to as I can! Beautiful hidden gems you’ve found here mate. Thank you.
Was lucky enough to work there every Summer during breaks from University. Hard but enjoyable work, cutting grass, watering holes, raking bunkers and seeding divots. Gordon Moir taught me something that has stayed with me my whole life - hard work. Tommy Trigg told me the best stories ever. Glad to say that my dad Gibby, wheos now in his 80s playes there every day. Still a bandit : )

Liam, your tour of Scotland’s golf gems will have encouraged many, myself included to visit Scotland. Excellent quality of filming, not to mention the banter between you and Mr. Barlow as you take on some difficult links courses. Exceptional scenery. Boys, I can't express how fun it was to watch, so I know it was fun to experience. When I watch these videos it makes me want to move to the UK just to be able to play golf and live and breath what you two (and Joe) experience. Don't get me wrong, I love living in the US and especially in Georgia where the golf is great all year round, but, the history and the courses you have shown us the last few days is absolutely wonderful and breathtaking. The whole package, as Liam said is tremendous. God Bless you all and happy trails back to the family. Cheers!!!

Good to see you promoting the North of Scotland golf courses, It's a great area for golf with so many courses along the coast from Inverness to Aberdeen. I’ve really enjoyed your trip videos. I live in the north east and I think you’ve really shown these courses at their best. I really liked this one in particular although I hardly recognised the course. I played at at Easter time, so naturally it was snowing. It actually suited the rugged and natural nature of the course. My missus is from the Broch, usually visit twice a year. Some great courses up that way. Rosehearty a couple of miles up the road has an amazing 9 hole course. Longside is another great course in the area too. Great vid, and glad you enjoyed the Broch.

Very well done! My favorite was when Steve made that long putt and you turned and walked off. My good friend and I took a trip like this in the US years ago. 11 rounds in 6 days on the Robert Trent Jones Trail in Alabama. What a great time we had, I’m sure as you and Steve did. Fantastic film. I used to be in the RAF at Peterhead just along the coast. Closest I've ever come to a H in 1 was at Fraserburgh. It was a 2 pence piece away......I'll get the ace one day.
