I was getting at least 500 to 1,000 short views each post and now I only get five views. Something happened😢 where they don't show my video in the feed
Trust me your not the only one this week I've been really grinding on making better videos no matter how hard I try or how good the video is it just gets no veiws
The funny thing about UA-cam is that you have to consistently stick to the same topic. For example, if I discuss politics and my current video is about Donald Trump, the next video also has to be about Trump to align with the algorithm. On top of that, if the first video is titled "Trump Becomes President," and the next video covers the same topic but has a different title, it won’t get recommended-even though it’s still on the same theme. Then there’s the issue of watch time. Let’s say the first video gets an average watch time of around 1.5 minutes, but the next video only gets 59 seconds. That second video will be judged as underperforming because it didn’t match the 1.5 minutes of the previous one. It’s a ridiculous system. On TikTok, each video is evaluated on its own and doesn’t affect the performance of other videos. It’s a completely different story over there.

you need to focus on improving your quality - it is definitely not at the level of your competitors ( I don't mean that in a rude way - just honest feedback )
Appreciate the videos.. Only 30 subs but I get 400 or so views per short on avg.. I definitely make mistakes as far as seo im sure 😅 Ive noticed that as of now my longer shorts get less views.. but longer watch times and higher percentage of retention.
