    Hi. I have just bought this exact dryer and have a question. I have dried two loads of laundry in it so far and already the condenser cleaning red light has come on as has the filter red light. The filter is spotless and the condenser just can not possibly need cleaning yet. It does go off when I start a new cycle. Is this normal? Are the sensors overly sensitive? Thanks :)

    I'm having an issue. The red condenser cleaning light came on today so I totally cleaned out the condenser, the condenser itself and inside and around the area and left zero fluff. The dryer refuses to start now and still getting the red condenser cleaning light. Any help guys? Would appreciate it. Have 3 loads to dry

      I've just had a look at the instructions and it looks like it is the black one to go into the waste outlet. i don't think you will be able to extend the pipe, if you need it longer it would be a case of finding a piece of piping in one run

    Thinking about buying one of these machine for an elderly parent, how often would you recommend the tank can be emptied, i think waiting til it's full could be a little heavier than we'd like for her

    • @lords-electrical
      @lords-electrical  Рік тому +1

      On the whole, you would normally empty it every 3-4 loads, but as you say it can get heavy. I know of customers that empty the water and clean the filter after each load, this way it is done each time and the container is a lot lighter than if you leave it until it is full.

    Hi mate, I bought this same dryer only last week but when I turned it on for the first time it had the loudest noise almost like a tractor engine, had to turn it off straight away. I thought it may be that silver foil on the back that needs removing as thought it might be covering up the air vent but looking at your video its kept on? is that correct?
    Have you heard of this before as the noise is unbelievably loud

    • @lords-electrical
      @lords-electrical  2 роки тому +1

      You shouldn't need to take the silver foil off the back. The loud noise doesn't sound normal. If it is like that straight from new the I would get in contact with the retailer for them to have a look at it.

I wish all companies created videos such as yours to put on UA-cam for customers, as it would make it easier to either learn how to use, or even assemble their products, as some manuals are a bit awkward to follow. Anyway, I digress, I really loved your video, but there is one thing I didn’t get. On the video I see the numbers 2:20 on the screen, is that 2hr 20 min? Just check the door is firmly shut. If it is slightly open then it won't start. Or also make sure the water container is empty, if it is full then it won't dry also.

      There may be a fault with one of the sensors, but I would first of all clean the sensor inside the door cavity to see that helps. If not it may be a case of getting someone to have a look at it for you.

    New machine just delivered, does anyone else's machine make terrible grating sound? machine is level.

      It shouldn't be making a grating sound from brand new. Just check there is nothing in the drum but apart from that I would contact the retailer you purchased it from for them to have a look for you.

      It will be the initial setting, but with the sensor dry setting it will alter the time of the program to how dry the clothes you need them.
