INGREDIENTS:
For the caramel
1/3 cup (75g) granulated sugar
75ml water
For the custard
1/4 cup (50g ) granulated sugar
2 whole eggs
1 egg yolk
1⅓ cups (325 ml) whole milk
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract or vanilla bean, sliced open and seeds scraped out ( optional)
30ml/ 1oz shot strong brewed espresso or strong brewed coffee
*Note : omit the espresso flavor if you just like to have vanilla creme caramel
