    I have started getting up at 4 am. now I don't have to complain about not having enough time for myself. I can workout, meditate study, have a great breakfast and still have plenty of time left to start off my day. not to mention the great sleep, no more twists and turns to fall asleep. I fall asleep within 5 mins of hitting the bed

    I love this!~ I recently have consciously made the commitment to change my "night owl" schedule to an early morning ritual. I love the feeling of the quietude in the morning and seeing the sun rise. I got up at 4 this morning and have now gotten out of the habit of hitting the snooze button. I purposely put my alarm away from me so I have to get up and get it. I was able to begin my yoga at 4:30 and got to see the sun rise, and ended it with a meditation. I then rehearsed my dance piece, and did my dance conditioning for the day. Waking up early gives me the time to have a proper breakfast, plan my day, with calm, pack my lunch, and start the day off right. Time is our greatest asset, and using it effectively determines how much we will accomplish, and in what state. I'm so grateful for my new morning ritual!

    My morning ritual is waking up and watching motivational videos, make and drink a healthy Protein shake, Take my pills/supplements, read for a half hour, then work out for 30--45 minutes and Get ready for the day after that. It takes me about 2 hours.

    The following does NOT include any business or work related activities otherwise I would have to write a book . . . I get up EARLY in the AM and PRAY, I am grateful for my health and much more, I meditate, I have one AM morning coffee, high protein breakfast, then DRINK WATER all day, and exercise 3 - 5 days per week outdoors if it is nice out. I have been working out at GYMS for almost 30 YEARS! However that has stopped due to my circumstances, but hopefully GYM WORKOUTS will be back soon.

I have been jogging in the morning for years and years, at least 45minutes to 1 hour, even that morning till the rest of the day was going to be the worst day if I miss something out of my critical moments in my working life? But nearly everything went on just fine, I still survive just because of this discipline.....Thank you for the great advise......Now, if I have a chance, I am thinking of how to play "YOGA".....

    One thing I'm curious about is visualization- particularly whether it is best to visualise the day, short term goals or even 10 years in the future; and whether it is best to visualise WHO you want to be vs WHAT you want to achieve.

    • @exceedingyoureverest184
      @exceedingyoureverest184 8 років тому

      Hey Stephen,
      I am reaponding to your comment because I think it's a fantastic question that I know at least a lot of my clients had.
      What I found the most important aspect of visualization is to trigger emotion. You have to get all the senses involved to make it feel real.
      As far as the "when" you can do it from
      Any point in your life but you need to make sure you bring it back to the present too so it doesn't always feel like you are "chasing something" in your visualizations.
      Loved your question and sorry if it sounds like if I am coming across as a know it all. This is just what I have seen help myself and my clients.
      Hope it helps you too

    I agree completely with this thing about morning rituals, it makes sense to empower yourself first ting in the morning before confronting the world and all it's challenges.
    The only thing I found spooky was the ritual of Steve Jobs, I do not think that it's healthy to ask yourself that question every day because you are unconsciously attrackting death. And unfortunately he died very young.
    Maybe it's a coincidence, but better be save than sorry. And concentrate on positive things in the morning.
