I just purchased these exact same bulbs and installed. I still have stock air intake so removing that was a little bit of a pain, but still everything took less than 30 minutes. Looking forward to taking a drive when it gets dark to see how they look. Thanks for sharing the video!
I've got a 2016 Charger Scat Pack in B5 Blue as well. Just ordered these same bulbs, and eventually I do want a proper HID kit, but this will do for now just to get rid of that yellow I keep having to stare at when I'm driving. Thanks for the video!

I'm with you on not liking the adaptive cruise control sensor in the front lower grill. I tried changing the bulbs and it was better but still not what I was looking for so I went with diode dynamics can buss HID kit in 5000k and it is great!

Ok im sure someone has told you what the issue is with the lights and the camera but I didn't see the comment. Its AUTO WHITE balance setting on your camera. Since big bertha is at a different temp (color) it allows your camera to see the other when its on. I hope that helps
i put 6k hids in my 15' SE. works great. definitely a big difference. will be gettin a scatty or daytona with HIDs already with them when i trade my SE in.

These are regular amazon LED bulbs with heat sink but I ended up going to an HID kit because the projection of the light wasn’t really good at all for night driving unfortunately
I just bought a 2016 AWD Rallye for the wife and the bulb is totally different then what you have. it's a HI2, OR D3S or some shit lol. still trying to figure out if I should just do different bulbs or HID kit. any suggestions? looking for the matching color of the 16' Charger LED Fog Light. I think the fog light is 6k temp but not sure so I want the headlights to match.

I tried to get these Nokya lights installed at my dealership when I got an oil change. The guys there recommended NOT to install these because the caps won't fit correctly and it will leave open gaps for water to get in. What other Headlights could I get that won't cause this issue? I'm tired of my yellow Headlights 😕.
Austin Greene the Nokya were just bulbs so the dealer is nutty but I recommend the Zdatt 9005 led kit on amazon !! it's what I last had on my scat before I sold her and it's what I recommend if you're not willing to do full HID
Dmitri Chergibayev yeap I took the old bulbs out, plugged these in, tucked the extra length of wiring inside of the headlight and it worked normally without any modding whatsoever
good call, do not run without the cap, a friend recently left the caps off on his acadia due to the huge LED cooling setup and within a few weeks his headlight housings were wet and ruined and needed to be replaced.
I know its been a while since you put this video up man but I just bought a 19 charger that had all LED lights except for the headlights 😑 I don't wanna get HIDs. I got LEDs but the beam was spotty. I don't mind the color on these So I was wondering how was the beam for these and how effective were they at night? Thanks

Do you still have leds installed i purchased leds an there much better then stock only problem having is when i have lights on auto they shut off. Does any body have similar problem
I sold the car a while back but when I had it still I had upgraded the leds to a full HID kit just to get better projection from the lights .. never had any issues with them turning off though thats weird :X
@@HonestlyOCD with hids was it plug an play or did u get canbus hids reason i ask i dealt with older chargers ..chryslers..jeep..dodge so many problems with hids u need canbus ..relay ..resistors ..
Lamuel Johnson the ones I ended up loving were from Zdatt but I just went FROM Zdatt to hids lol I'm keeping the zdatt just in case if that tells you anything about the way I feel about them lol

ronaldturner7430 I had tried Nokya then went to Zdatt 9005 then tried HIDs.. the HIDs had the best range but the install was more involved.. the Zdatt 9005 are plug and play with good results .. the Nokya are just for color change with very minimal benefits for view

I just ordered the piaa led bulbs for exactly the same reason...everything is that ice white color and then u get the yellow headlight and it kills the sexiness of the car. The lights I ordered online said it is compatible for my car.....im hoping it's just plug and go..is that the case or do I need other crap like u do with an hid kit. yes the high and low function still work :) I'm honestly not good with bulbs and stuff but I think the 9005s all do this ?? idk lol as I've mentioned though in other comments here if you plan on getting these look into 5500 or 6000 unless you like the little more of a blue tint like I have .. Either way I love the color difference and I'm happy :) there's no way they're as bright as hids but this is a cheap "bandaid" mod to buy time to decide if hids are worth it lol
Your probably right about 9005s having this function. Some bulbs I've seen only act as a low beam so I wanted to double check. I really want leds but it sounds like there isn't one out yet that is overall great quality and fitment. Is the visibility at night good I like the hint of blue just curious how they perform I've had 6500k on my last car worked good.
I mean the stock lights weren't all that great at night anyways and these are pretty similiar just a different color lol I typically just drive with DRLs on and that's my go to lol eventually I may try hids but I have seen a few sights offering led conversions .. the prices are near HID price so idk and the cheaper ones are like iffy .. I just found 9005 Samsung led bulbs on amazon they should be coming soon and they're 6000K so if you message me at the end of the week I can let you know if that actually was brighter or better and maybe that'll be an option

The reason your lights are different colour on camera is whitebalance - colour temperature. The camera will automatically try to adjust the whitebalance to daylight (5500K) and your lights look white/blue instead of yellow.

Don't they sell an Xenon Hid kit for the 15-16 charger? There is a video of a DIY, but looks like too much work. I wonder of the Xenon is just Plug and Play.
Ryan Subrata honestly, go on Amazon and search for Zdatt 9005 led lol I tried these afterwards and they are much better .. they even have a heatsink fan on the rear and still fit fine under the dust cap without modding it .. All plug and play too

Honestly OCD man great video! You have the exact same problem I have with the stock halogens. Idk why the hell Dodge put yellow halogens with cool whitish blue running lights and fogs. I tried to put leds on my 2015 charger, but I couldn't get any setup to work properly. Even with cancellers and relays. I have a 3.6 though, hope to get a 6.4 in the future. Any tips on getting the lights to work. They'll be on, then turn off and about 3 seconds later turn back on. After doing it 3 times my lights don't turn back on. I have to restart my car and they turn back on. I heard something about the computer "pinging" the headlights if that helps.
I got a 2017 charger and I had got an HID kit for it to replace the original 9005 light bulbs but the kit didn't work idk what I'm doing I want HID in my car cuzz like u I don't like the yellow tent light I want them bright lol can u help me plzz i have to send them ones I got back

HonestlyOCD how long did these bulbs last you? And how much better was the vision from the driver seat compared to OEM bulbs. I just returned an HID kit, it put my car in the shop :'(
I had no issues with these bulbs and they worked all the way up until the day I sold the car and they went with the new owner lol they aren't going to be AS bright with regards to "projection" but they were PLENTY fine for my night driving and I was very pleased with the color and reliability of them .. as far as comparing them to OEM, that's tough because it's likely a TINY bit less output only based on the bulb design in my mind but it's nothing that you'd notice too crazy
The LED buld you bought are the incorrect ones for your car, they make LED bulds that have the correct base which look the exact same to the ones you installed.

Joe Pagnozzi if it's just a bulb setup it'll swap in directly. If you bought a led conversion or HID that's when you have different wires

Your probably right about 9005s having this function. Some bulbs I've seen only act as a low beam so I wanted to double check. I really want leds but it sounds like there isn't one out yet that is overall great quality and fitment. Is the visibility at night good I like the hint of blue just curious how they perform I've had 6500k on my last car worked good.
I mean the stock lights weren't all that great at night anyways and these are pretty similiar just a different color lol I typically just drive with DRLs on and that's my go to lol eventually I may try hids but I have seen a few sights offering led conversions .. the prices are near HID price so idk and the cheaper ones are like iffy .. I just found 9005 Samsung led bulbs on amazon they should be coming soon and they're 6000K so if you message me at the end of the week I can let you know if that actually was brighter or better and maybe that'll be an option
I will for sure hit you up and asked how those Samsung bulbs are. I also messaged diod dynamics and asked if they will be releasing led headlights and they said in a few months.

Make sure to get the 100w bulbs as the 65w bulbs don't throw enough light.
malikorama I tried Nokya before with great luck but just recently put in an HID kit :/ I may eventually do a video on the Nokya with my friends charger to show comparison
The reason your lights are different colour on camera is whitebalance - colour temperature. The camera will automatically try to adjust the whitebalance to daylight (5500K) and your lights look white/blue instead of yellow.

Don't they sell an Xenon Hid kit for the 15-16 charger? There is a video of a DIY, but looks like too much work. I wonder of the Xenon is just Plug and Play.

Ryan Subrata honestly, go on Amazon and search for Zdatt 9005 led lol I tried these afterwards and they are much better .. they even have a heatsink fan on the rear and still fit fine under the dust cap without modding it .. All plug and play too

Honestly OCD man great video! You have the exact same problem I have with the stock halogens. Idk why the hell Dodge put yellow halogens with cool whitish blue running lights and fogs. I tried to put leds on my 2015 charger, but I couldn't get any setup to work properly. Even with cancellers and relays. I have a 3.6 though, hope to get a 6.4 in the future. Any tips on getting the lights to work. They'll be on, then turn off and about 3 seconds later turn back on. After doing it 3 times my lights don't turn back on. I have to restart my car and they turn back on. I heard something about the computer "pinging" the headlights if that helps.

I got a 2017 charger and I had got an HID kit for it to replace the original 9005 light bulbs but the kit didn't work idk what I'm doing I want HID in my car cuzz like u I don't like the yellow tent light I want them bright lol can u help me plzz i have to send them ones I got back

HonestlyOCD how long did these bulbs last you? And how much better was the vision from the driver seat compared to OEM bulbs. I just returned an HID kit, it put my car in the shop :'(
I had no issues with these bulbs and they worked all the way up until the day I sold the car and they went with the new owner lol they aren't going to be AS bright with regards to "projection" but they were PLENTY fine for my night driving and I was very pleased with the color and reliability of them .. as far as comparing them to OEM, that's tough because it's likely a TINY bit less output only based on the bulb design in my mind but it's nothing that you'd notice too crazy

The LED buld you bought are the incorrect ones for your car, they make LED bulds that have the correct base which look the exact same to the ones you installed.
