I appreciate your price per gram breakdown. Without it I would’ve immediately said “no, that’s too much for this palette.” I love this color story, but not crazy about it including blush shades. I wish it was just eyeshadows for a cheaper price than $55, tbh. If this goes on sale I would be interested in picking it up.

You did a GREAT job with this video! I’m now more inclined to buy it now that you broke down the price and saw all the swatches comparisons. Anastasia actually makes my favorite eyeshadow formula💜 I do go thru them, I have hit pan on at least 3 shades on all my palettes

Great review. I agree that I would rather have the smaller shadows because I will never use all the colors. In the older palettes I have hit pan in a few shadows and made a dent…but nowhere close to using it up. I would have liked to see the terracotta blush on you to see what it would look like. I too have many of them…but I would have preferred all shadows as well.
So much work went into this video! I love that primrose shade. I adore pink purples like that. I think all my collection is aimed for colors like that.
I’ll probably end up getting it, but totally agree about preferring the 14 pan pallets. I’m just not a fan of face products and eyeshadow in the same pallet.

The only thing you didn’t mention is that the other palettes come with a dual brush, which some people may prefer…and this palette went ahead with blush instead of a brush. Also, that very first shade you put on your first eye looked so much like orange sofa, did it not? I’m going to buy this one, anyway….but bravo to you for your awesome review. Very pretty and great difference in looks . I’m glad the blush works and it’s not usually so easy to put shimmer on with a brush and have that payoff. I think it’s worth it.

This is beautiful. The ABH formula is light years better than sigma and most other brands. I am excited to see how this performs. I hate the palette size change. It is one of the reasons I didn’t purchase Amreezy. You cost breakdown was great. My personal spending conviction is that I need to use a palette 1 time for every $1 spent. If I don’t plan to use the palette that many times, I have to pass or find a sale.

You should try using saddle as a blush another UA-camr as light as you used it and it looked like a sun kiss look it was beautiful! Love the looks you did I don’t mind getting more product and paying a little more as long as it’s a good palette and this one seems to be!

Thank you for the enormous time I'm sure it took you to tape this video. I just purchased the palette on Sunday and have been using it the past 2 days. I absolutely love it! I find that the shadows especially the glittery ones are very buttery and apply so smoothly. I love this palette and like you I have almost the entire collection of Anastasia's palettes. Can you say palette crazy? It's the only brand of eyeshadow I have besides maybe three others. Hands down it's great to add your collection and give you a little variety.
Yeah those pink and mauvy tones are overloading the market rn. I have never been a huge fan of them like so many others seem to be. I am currently into more greens and grungy colors instead.
The swatches are extremely helpful. I can see that my ski color is close to the last swatch. So, this confirms that this lovely palette won’t work for me.
First look is my fave! Now I’m debating do I go for this ABH palette, Charlottes, or Natasha! But fr I think I’m leaning Charlotte this season… 🍃 I was going through an old Huda palette and made an incredible fall look with siennas, terracotta, and golds (from the Rosegold Remastered) and … was thinking that it’d be fun if you made a video of fall looks we could come up with from older, but popular palettes that we might already have. Crazy how only 2 shades are “technically” eye safe! Everything else isn’t intended for use on the eyes…..which for an eyeshadow palette is ridiculous…lol Great review! You went above and beyond, love the geeky math stuff! Im just not feeling this one at all! It just feels really boring, don’t like the matte/shimmer ratio or face shades …and needs more depth…lol
They're probably approved in the EU, I've heard the American agency is really outdated in what pigments it considers eye safe. As in, the pigments haven't been evaluated by the American agency so to sell in America they need to state it hasn't been approved for eye use. But really it just hasn't been evaluated yet.
Many of her large norvina palette releases are that way as well. Lots of other companies do the same thing though. It is labeled that way because these pigments can be very irritating around the eyes for certain people...although some people never have issues. It's not that it is an outdated warning, as some really appreciate it so they know what to avoid.
I am surprised by how much I like this color story, I usually prefer more bronze and taupe shades, but with the pinks and purple in this with the browns this is a great mix of colors. I wish that bronze cheek shade was lighter, but I guess you can also use that as an eye color. I would pick this up during a sale.
I just received this palette in my Ipsy box. I haven’t worn eye makeup for a couple of years. After receiving this, I have worn makeup for 4 days in a row. Love the eyeshadows, it stepped me out of my bland comfort zone.

Mine comes Tuesday! ABH is my favorite brand! I have every palette starting with Modern Renaissance all the way til the most recent launch, all the Norvina’s, even the mini’s! The completionist in me can’t help it! Lol
I literally pulled out all my ABH palettes just now and I also have ALL of them 😭 I watched this to see if I should get the Primrose palette but I guess I don’t need it… UNLESS there is a great sale that’s hard to pass up 😏

Nope! I'm doing very well this holiday, I've not been tempted by anything! It's so boring and why include blushes? We all have blushes. Yes, it could be a travel palette but because of the lack of colour, I'd have to take another palette with me. Sooooo, I'd just rather take an eyeshadow palette that has a good mix of colours plus my blush palette. Also, on the arm swatches, shades Sparkling Amber and Fire Opal looked very similar ( see, I have to say "similar" too 😉). If they are as similar as they appear, I just think it's a complete waste of a pan. Same, I have never hit pan on any of my palettes, despite trying to use them every day now. Most aren't even this large of pans.
The terracotta blush on me looks really nice but I am more tanned skin tone! I was really surprised!

It's a blush and bronzer. Saddle is an individual bronzer in their regular line.

no eyeshadow should be directly use on the eyes, they are to be put on top of an eye-primer :)

Mine comes Tuesday! ABH is my favorite brand! I have every palette starting with Modern Renaissance all the way til the most recent launch, all the Norvina’s, even the mini’s! The completionist in me can’t help it! Lol
I literally pulled out all my ABH palettes just now and I also have ALL of them 😭 I watched this to see if I should get the Primrose palette but I guess I don’t need it… UNLESS there is a great sale that’s hard to pass up 😏

I really like the colorstory, but the darker blush won't fit for fair skin like mine and seems too orange for a bronzer 🥺

It's so boring and why include blushes? We all have blushes. Yes, it could be a travel palette but because of the lack of colour, I'd have to take another palette with me. Sooooo, I'd just rather take an eyeshadow palette that has a good mix of colours plus my blush palette.
Also, on the arm swatches, shades Sparkling Amber and Fire Opal looked very similar ( see, I have to say "similar" too 😉). If they are as similar as they appear, I just think it's a complete waste of a pan.
