Myself and my wife just spent 5 weeks (May 2024) touring Europe! It was amazing! And on our itinerary was Lugano! My wife went to a private school there 🏫 called Tasis her junior & senior years of high school. Lugano is absolutely beautiful! Unfortunately, we were unable to do funicular on Mt.Bre. We had the opportunity to go to Austria 🇦🇹 and took the train from there. The Swiss Alps were breathtaking! Thanks for sharing your video!

Awesome episode Jillian and Jeremy! What fantastic scenery and sunset. I like the premiere format. Thanks for sharing and keep them coming. Peace and Calm. 👍🏻😎🇨🇦
Thank you, Gerald!! We wondered if anyone would care about this "premiere" format....knowing you like it, we will definitely continue!!! Sending our best from chilly Delaware. ;-) - jillian
Belated thank you for the sweet comment!!! Yes, the funicular is definitely running. Here's the schedule: www.montebre.ch/en/fares-timetables/ We hope you have a great time!!
Hi there! So sorry for the delay responding. The absolute best way we found was the 'SBB Mobile' app - the icon is red with two, opposite facing arrows and a line in the center. It makes finding the schedule and buying tickets SO easy. Hope I'm not too late and you can use this tip!
If you ever are in that area again you should visit Gandria, it's incredibly beautiful. I'd also recommend "easyride" which is included in the official railway app (SBB Mobile). With that you don't need to worry about tickets for public transport. You just swipe right when you enter the public transport, then swipe left when you arrive in your destination and it will charge the cheapest tickets for your routes based on your phones location on the next day. Sometimes daily tickets are cheaper etc., the app will take care of that for you
Thanks so much, Peter!! Great tip...I wondered about how that worked and was fearful we'd accumulate a HUGE bill since we were "hopping" around so many different places. Great to know for next time we visit. And Gandria is a DEFINITE must-stop next time ;-) -jillian
We hope you enjoyed our second-to-last Switzerland video. Let us know - do you like the Premiere format, or no?
Brey not bree
Thank you so much!! Both felt like we were saying it wrong ;-) - Jillian
