@@Shaan-._.-Roy first, yes that is a metal pick, secondly, for a fast level up the best way ive found is hunting dinos (lystrosaurs and dodos) the higher the level the more exp you get, try taming some lystrosaurs and/or iguanadons to use as storage when you first start and just mine everything, essentially aim to build a stock pile of wood, stone, flint, thatch, fibre, and hide (2000-3000) of each, not that you'll need that much but working towards those numbers will level you up pretty quick (it's what I do on hard). Also try to tame at least 3 diloposaur's preferably level 50 to 70 as early as possible, it can be tuff but they'll keep you alive in the early stages. Once you get the bola and a bow take at least 20 bola's (2 stacks) with you every time you leave camp and a bow with 100 arrows (2 stacks) and your 3 dilos obviously and hunt parasaurs, trikes, raptors (if there's only one of them) and sarcos, also take a parasaur with you as a pack mule to carry all the resources you gather while out, just remember to set him to passive so he won't join fights. You can do all that before level 10 and after you unlock tranq arrows go tame some raptors to replace your dilos then hunt even stronger wild dinos while collecting resources, sorry this was so long and 3 months late but I hope it helps.
thank you for this video! i kept getting killed by Raptors and couldnt figure out how to tame them. if you're a new player, dilophosauruses are really helpful. you can tame them with your hands and with meat from a dodo. they do spit poison and your health will go down, but as long as it's a level 0-15 it shouldnt kill you. just knock it out and then you can kill a dodo for its meat. dilos are great protectors.

My tames (first to last): Parasaur with bola and a slingshot. Later it died. A dilo using wooden club or fists. It died later and I tamed 6. Then another Parasaur using bola and wooden club. Trike using slingshot and then fists. A pteranodon using bola and wooden club. Carbonemys using wooden club or fists, I don't remember. Raptor usin wooden club and fists (I broke the club). And a Sarco level 30 mounted on the Trike a using bow and tranq arrows. Now I am something like not scared of most animals (except maybe T-Rex, Spino, Giga and Titanosaur)
I will try to tame a t rex if i can hope i get lucky because am new i got 2 dodos now in ark mobile the one is a male and the other one is a female and the other pet is a little raptor
Try getting carboneymysys, because they have low attack but high health, get a bunch of them and get some dilos so they can attack the trex, tranq the trex and then put them on neutral before the trex dies, that would be my method
Tamed a pteranodon a few days ago and never looked at my other tames ever again, I'm looking to tame a saber and a larger flyer cause now I'm at lvl 44. I only play single player, and would you advise that I move my base from the southern islands towards, idk mid map? Or should I just keep upgrading my base, as of now no dinos are attacking it anyway, and I've made a small enclosure that would house all my tames.

Do the group thing for PS4 is so cool you just press the big touchpad big button in the middle of the controller and you hold it and then it shows set 10 group settings and then you go to one through nine and Bam there's your only your group and you can have them follow you and not any other of your tame creatures

Tap on the name, if your looking at a resource block it will say "jungle fern" or "banana tree" or "mossy rock" etc, just tap one finger on its name at the top of the screen and it'll drop down/extend the information given, also works on dinos
I tamed a moschops and even if I put them on aggressive or if I whistle them to target something they run 😂 the only things moschops are useful for is eggs and distractions
Hey flash news If you tell a moschops to stop and wonder he will collect shit load of fiber and Berry’s for you just make sure he stays alive and check on him once in a while.

@@RaHuL-vv9du breed the 2 creatures, 1 male, 1 female, enable wandering and keep them next to each other, wait and the female will lay an egg, put the egg near a campfire, and it will hatch after a bit, hope it helped :), oh and also the egg must be fertilized or it will not hatch
If your high enough level you can use a high rock and a pteranodon and just keep tranqing, and if and when if ever gets to you, fly away, land and rinse and repeat. Otherwise just make it swim through the river near the Redwoods ( there’s tons of carnos there ), it’s a pretty slow swimmer. If it gets about half way across the river, either run farther to unagro it or just swim around it and repeat. Just watch out for the titanaboas and sarcos, and maybe a spino hanging out in the water.
I Just shoot some tranq arrows or tranq darts on it and wait for it to get knocked out and shove some narcotics and prime meat in it and boom you got a carno (or normal meat or its perfered kibble)
tameing a carno is sorta but not to hard and dont be stupid and use a sling shot well if your trying to run from a carno your still going to be dead so you want to be stuck on a rock and for full tranq between five second you will save alot of tranq arrows but dont for get to save narcotic it will prob wake up befor you tame and dont be stupid and use narco berries

Every time I do quests or gather materials, I try to avoid all creatures especially the big ones coz I'm scared they'll attack me if I get near and I lose my loots lol
Hum, it's pretty difficult to tell from a distance unless you know the creatures, but the game has a "dangerous area" warning when you're close to one. Assume that most creatures are dangerous and you'll be pretty well off
I see. That makes sense. I once killed by this large white snake when I was looking for explorer note 'coz I was too careless even with that "dangerous area" warning. Some creatures like the Dilophosaurus attacks you when you get near and you don't get a warning though. I guess, it's just about playing the game a lot and getting knowledge of every creatures as you play. Thanks btw :D
Hello, I have like 3k hours in ark on ps4/5, started playing ark mobile for when I'm not home. What I can't figure out it, when feeding narco berries , the creature was still waking up faster than taming. Do I just need betterbfood, cuz was using reg meat

How long does the dino remained tamed.. in private server my old dinos are not taking commands and even stop moving I can take others but old ones have my stuff .. and my camp fire siege and metal purifier is not working too any suggestions??
You know i literally camped on a rock for nearly an hour trying to knock out a Therizinosaurus and managed to bring down its health from 2500 to about 230 and then i ran out of sling shots (and could not repair them) so i tried to used my club, fell off the rock and rage quit after what happened next for about a week. Ahhhhh, thats Ark Survival for ya!

Instead of berries, research the specific type of food-especially kibble-that the Dino likes. The tame will go much faster that way.

With parasaur I hit them and make sure they run into the direction of a tree and rock then they get stuck and you hit em.

right now the following AI is really poor on dinos, so I suggest just riding out on one dino - You'd be pretty safe on a rex most places you go

Yes, that seems to help the problem quite a bit - I can play for about an hour and a half straight with that mode on, which is pretty good

Definitely build a shack, and leave some stronger dinos on neutral so they can defend themselves if they're getting attacked

There's an option to change the hotbar layout in your options/game controls - you can toggle it from the flow menu to the hotbar layout

How long does the dino remained tamed.. in private server my old dinos are not taking commands and even stop moving I can take others but old ones have my stuff .. and my camp fire siege and metal purifier is not working too any suggestions??
You know i literally camped on a rock for nearly an hour trying to knock out a Therizinosaurus and managed to bring down its health from 2500 to about 230 and then i ran out of sling shots (and could not repair them) so i tried to used my club, fell off the rock and rage quit after what happened next for about a week. Ahhhhh, thats Ark Survival for ya!
