If you're using the Curt # C99DR, you'll need the # 18140 no-drill bracket as well as the # 18144 bracket for the trailer connector. I'll link to all that below for you. That'll get you the full hook-up! www.etrailer.com/Custom-Fit-Vehicle-Wiring/CURT/C99DR.html www.etrailer.com/Accessories-and-Parts/Tow-Ready/18140.html www.etrailer.com/Accessories-and-Parts/Tow-Ready/18144.html
Two things you'll want to check. First, make sure the white ground wire is securely attached to clean, bare metal. Secondly, check that the fuse is installed in the red fuse holder. Check those out and let us know...
you can get a plug and play harness from the factory ,connection are behind the left rear quarter panel...buy at Kia or Hyundai same part in my case the Hyundai was cheaper
....Or, you could get the aftermarket (yet still high quality) Tekonsha # TK32VR from us at a much lower cost. www.etrailer.com/Custom-Fit-Vehicle-Wiring/Kia/Sportage/2023/TK32VR.html?VehicleID=202357982
I just took my SUV, identical to this for the wiring to be installed. The tech didn't have to cut any cables. The power, cable was run thru the cabin, no mess going under the SUV, and practically ended up right next to the battery. E-trailer you can do better with your how to videos.
We had to add some length to the green wire because it was too short. The length of that wire right out of the box isn't too consistent, it can vary. In this instance, it wasn't long enough so we had to lengthen it. Running the wire under the vehicle is a valid choice that is usually easier than running it through the passenger compartment. www.etrailer.com/Custom-Fit-Vehicle-Wiring/CURT/C99DR.html
The Curt # C99DR trailer wiring harness shown in the video is vehicle-specific, and is meant to fit the 2022 - 2024 Kia Sorento without Factory Tow Package and the 2023 - 2023 Kia Sportage. Hope that helps! www.etrailer.com/Custom-Fit-Vehicle-Wiring/CURT/C99DR.html

I followed all the instructions, and confirmed no loose ends, but I’ve got no power. Any ideas?
