  • Florida citrus is being ravaged by the deadly and incurable plant disease #Huanglongbing. Abandoned orchards, dying trees, and "Land for Sale" signs have replaced what was once a thriving commercial citrus industry. In just 10 years, Florida has lost approximately $7.8 billion in revenue, 162,000 citrus acres, and 7,513 jobs to Huanglongbing.
California citrus growers must act now to prevent Huanglongbing from taking hold. For more information, go to www.citrusinsider.org.
On March 3, 2016 join California Citrus Mutual for ithe Annual Citrus Showcase at the Visalia Convention Center to hear from citrus growers in Texas and Florida about the realities of farming citrus amid #Huanglongbing infection and how CA can avoid the same fate.
Call California Citrus Mutual at 559.592.3790 to reserve your seat. Tickets are $30 per person.
