Update6 months and I'm still loving this bench. ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxo_64lVTGMk7y4aXTPxPOcQ3YTLyQ6kYV I use it almost daily. I've gotten used to the small wobble and it's no problem at all. Love the storage, it folds right next to my weight set in the garage and hardly takes any space. I wish the covering material was a little bit tougher. I have a feeling that in a couple years it'll tear, but the bench is very well priced that I would just buy a new one.3 month usage review. Awesome bench for someone looking for compactness and storage. I did have to drill a couple holes to adjust my preferred seating position and leg bar position but that's only due to my personal preference. It's very sturdy for normal workouts, but for anyone going above 100# dumbbell press it wobbles ever so slightly. I would probably go with a fixed bench if that's the case. That being said i can accomplish 99% of my normal gym workout with this setup. Very happy with the purchase.
I had the same experience with my x-3 rack. Six weeks to get all the parts and then ended up with a couple extra support and uprights...nuts. The rack works great now, but it was terrible waiting and calling and emailing to get everything I paid for.
🤣 Stone Cold! But I actually wouldn't give any flack to the camera man. I don't think it is easy to do. And it doesn't matter too much because the video came together fine in the end because really the focus is Alan who does an incredible job.
Thrall gettin' real I like it. I have Titan yoke t-3 and it works for me, but if I own a gym and I'm looking for life long products that put up with daily use? Def going Rogue, love the gym walkthroughs!
I think Titan has upped their game in 2019. I've placed (6) orders this year including a T-3 rack and everything has been perfect. All orders were received within (3) days and everything was correct. My T-3 fit together perfectly and the fit and finish is surprisingly nice. I guess I won the "titan lottery" as it's called.
Every Titan equipment I’ve purchased (squat rack, reverse hyper, cambered bar, and a few odd ball grip tools) have been really solid. I’m going to be purchasing a power rack, leg extension, and pull down machine from them. Hopefully they’re the same quality that I’ve been getting because everything I’ve got has been great
they probably seen if they got the quality control issue worked, then they could compete w im th rogue and other established fitness company's. I haven't order alot from them, but most of what I've bought has come from them. Thw x3 rack is a beast. I would say now, there shouldn't be many problems coming from titan. Just ordered the trap bar and it was on back order, got before it was even due back in.
I got the titan x-3 power rack and its solid no complaints I think titan has upped their game I've also ordered their dip bar for x-3 its solid good piece too
I bought a Titan bench. It came without the top pads and adjuster pin. Emailed and called. They told me they’d ship the missing parts. They didn’t. I emailed and called again, they said they’d send. They didn’t. Waited three weeks. In the end I went to the hassle to pack the whole thing back up, and fed ex back to Titan. Childishly I sent it back in a Rogue box. Felt appropriate. Two weeks later, the pads showed up. I know they cost more, but if you can, go with Rogue. The Rogue experience and every product I’ve bought so far has been absolutely brilliant. Great video. Titan can kiss my kettle bell.
Can't tell you how much I appreciate the honesty. I'm not even in the market to purchase equipment - I just like hearing an honest opinion, said with conviction. Good video.
I’ve purchased a few things through Titan. Knowing ahead of time that some of their stuff was suspect, I kept it to attachments and a log bar. I will say, the 10” Log bar that I bought is a great piece of equipment. Problem is, it took a month to get..
I use Rogue Hooks in my Titan Rack. Work great. They didn't send me enough up-rights either. But they eventually made it right. Sent me uprights until I had a square set. Used the extra steel to weld up a full reverse hyper. So it worked out!
So because one person of a few had issues means you totally avoid an entire line of products. Do you not think people have had issues with rogue? Lol. No matter what it is where you go to buy shit there will always be people with issues. You sound like a total fkn idiot with “ thanks you saved me time and money u get what you pay for it” Do u usually always judge things as a whole based off one opinion lol
@@Ih8G00gle Depends on the area. Where I live almost no one works out. The 10 or so bodybuilders at Gold's Gym are probably the only bodybuilders in the whole damn county.
Lots of really good things to think about and watch for when buying equipment that many people will never even consider until they already purchased something. Very helpful things to think about. Thanks for sharing.
Man you made me laugh so hard with the titan fitness reply. This simply shows how legit you are. Greetings from Greece, keep training untaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaamed!
I bought my titan rack 3 1/2 years ago I must have been lucky nothing was missing it all went together good and ive beat it to death with never an issue....I have that same rouge bench with the straight legs bought at the same time never had a problem but I always make sure every now and then all the bolts are tight....and im glad I watched this my wife and I was about to order a sled from titan highly doubt I will now....
I have the Titan Fitness Bench Press Rack (copy of the Rogue Westside Bench). I'm happy with it. All the parts were delivered and the whole thing fit together. This is a recent purchase. From the video here, apparently the purchases by Alan Thrall were made in 2015. So maybe the passage of another three years has made Titan more reliable now.
I ordered the short cable wall mount from titan it came in with the metal bent so they sent me a new mechine so I have two now lol but the paint was chipped and dented no foam pads in the box . I also ordered the hyperextension that came in dented and paint chipping off. Titan even in 2024 there quality control department sucks
Glad I went with the Rep Fitness PR-4000 power rack. It's a 3x3 rack but it's 47" from one front upright to the next which eliminates the potential to clip your weights on an unrack. Most racks, if not all aside from Rep are 48".
If I had seen this before buying my Titan X3, I wouldn't have bought it. But I did, and for me it has worked well. Went together very easily when I hand tightened, positioned it on the floor, then fully Titan'd each bolt. All the holes line up, the angles are true, no warping I can see. The Jcups aren't perfect but don't tilt backward like yours. But I did have a shipping issue. Only 1 of three parts of the shipment came. I emailed and got a response. One more part came, but not the hardware. Another email, then the hardware came. So it took a few weeks before I was able to put it together. Once assembled the rack is rock solid. It is a short, flat-foot rack, the only style I could get in my basement area where we decided to have the gym. And Titan was the only one I could find that made one like that with westside spacing.
While we haven't tried out Titan yet, we had similar experience with Texas Strength Systems. We ordered their IPF combo rack (squat and bench) along with their glute-ham combo. It took forever for them to show up and the G-H combo didn't come with instructions, which was made worse because it was a new model that didn't have pictures online. On top of that, they sent the wrong screws (they did replace them) and were missing the holes to attach the step.
if you have a 3d printer, you can make your own J-hook plastic inserts however you want them to fit your bar, they're great. Just use ABS with 100% fill
My whole garage gym is titan. Titan power rack, titan cable tower, hex bar. Its all good stuff to me. If i have a probelm they fix it. It is very important not to bolt each piece all the way down. Once everything is hand tightened then go back and retighten. Otherwise you get unbalanced equipment
I too have had a great experience with Titan, and I've made multiple orders and recommended them to lots of people. I'm shocked to hear how many people have had problems with them. It makes me wonder if it's poor QC, poor assembly, or some combination (most likely).
His Titan racks already were imbalanced. I have recently been looking at the T3 folding rack, but if his stuff came consistently missing pieces, and thow racks where misshapen that is a huge indicator of their lax attitude. They could be having certain parts built by different machine shops that are obviously doing very cheap work.
I have a T3 as well. All pieces came on time and it fit together perfectly. Best part: free shipping. Rogue wanted to charge me hundreds just to ship their rack. I don't doubt that Rogue is a step up in quality, but for a home gym the T3 has been great. I did go with a Rogue bar though. That is money well spent in my opinion. At the end of the day, the rack is there to keep you from killing yourself. If it does that, I'm happy. I can understand shipping woes, but I didn't experience any and their shipping is free, so it's hard to complain too much even if it does take longer than expected.
We bought some stuff from titan fitness for our schools gym (a barbell, Lat pulldown/ cable row machine and a bench.) The cable machine and bar were pretty good (some of the pieces on the cable machine were not totally straight, but not enough to really make a difference for assembly or use.) With the bench, on the other hand, we had to wait a whole month for it, one of the plastic ends caps was broken, the pegs to adjust the seat and back didn't work (the seat peg wasn't aligned so you could only use it flat, and the peg for the back wouldn't screw in all the way so using it for incline was pretty sketchy), and the base wasn't aligned so you'd have to put a 2.5 plate under one of the legs/base to stabilize it.
@@6subswith0vids80 he defintly has some videos that he wouldnt agree with anymore like bad programing tips or stuff like foam rolling against pain @Fabrizio
To those considering the R3 vs. R4...The R4 isn’t fully welded in a box frame like that. I bought mine in January 2016 and it came in a bunch of long boxes that had to be assembled. The packaging was terrible: everything was scratched because the pieces were poking out of the boxes. I was mad because it’s powdercoated, not painted. The powdercoat is what sets Rogue apart, and it was the deciding factor over the alternatives. I can’t repair powdercoat in my garage. I asked Rogue send me new pieces because I didn’t want a bunch of chipped parts. The replacement pieces were chipped too, so I gave up. Rogue gave me a $60 gift card and told me to use barbecue grill spray paint. Solid rack, but Rogue really needs to do a better job protecting their customers’ investment.
DrewLSsix.... yeah, I’m paying $1000 for a new product. I want it to look new. I’m the kind of person that takes good care of my things, so I don’t want it to show any wear before I’ve even bolted it together.
Xplora213 ... when you buy a new car do you expect it to have scratches? I spent over $1000 on the rack. I want it to look new when I take it out of the box.
So, a while back I was looking at the titan fold back rack which is similar to the R-3W rack by Rogue. I talked to my brother, who runs a machine shop, about it and he told me not to trust Chinese metal. It may look good in the pictures, but you never know what you are going to get. So I got the RML-3W by Rogue and I have not once ever thought "Maybe I should have gotten the Titan." One thing I should mention about the 3x3 construction, is that for someone who has limited space, being able to attach anything onto either the front or the sides is very nice. If I had a large space for my home gym then it wouldn't matter, but being able to attach the matador dip handles either on the side or the front is very handy.
Guessing the log is a Rogue log since I haven't seen a Slater's log. Dumbbell maybe a custom one from Beast Metals who he has talked about prior. I would like a Husafell stone for my garage gym.
Really appreciate the gym tour, Alan. Untamed Strength looks amazing. One of my dreams would be to just visit the place and this video really increases my will to do so. Have a good one, my dude!
I made my own power rack: 1) I CAD design it 2) I bought first quality iron 3 I got a professional welder to weld it 4) I colored black and yellow It has holes, 2 pull ups bar and it is strong as hell being 160 kg of weight....
I bought a Titan 2x3 bolt together and it was all there and fit together great. Not perfect like the Rogue is, but works for the garage gym for half the price of rack and attachments
To add on to Alan's story with Titan. I ordered their R3 clone off of their E-Bay store, and while I got all the frame pieces, I was missing 4 bolts/washer/nuts to mount the the uprights to the spacers. I actually called and spoke to a sales person and told them that I needed the hardware and was told it would ship the next day. Fast forward a year later, I still haven't received my hardware, but I took one of the other sets to a hardware store after a week and just purchased 4 more sets. Granted that only costs like 15 dollars, but still.
I have a titan T3 short rack with a 12" extension holding the weights. I was nervous, but it turned out to be the best investment I've ever made bar none. It is an absolutely fantastic piece of equipment. Maybe I'm lucky, I don't know, but it's absolutely amazing.
Regarding the wobble, you need to assemble it standing while the bolts are still loose and tighten it while standing so it's relaxed with all 4 feet on the ground. I wonder if they improved since the ones he bought. I bought mine about last year when this was posted.
Been awhile since I watched Thrall vids. Binge watching. Just noticed the T's along the bottom of description box. That Metal Hookgrip shirt is probably the most badass youtuber shirt I've seen so far.
Oh man sorry to hear this. I recently purchased Titan's version of the reverse hyper extension, their heavy duty version. Assembly was perfect, all the parts were there, the fit and finish are top notch.
@ 11:39, home depot for 4 foot level even a 2 foot level will help , besides you already should have both 2 and 4 for every piece to check and around the floor so when lifting Extremely heavy , you can continue to do so
I go to gym that is "eleiko certified" and love all the bench/DL/squat equipment etc. since they are so high quality and there are plenty of them. I appreciate the atmosphere and free space on gym more thou than equipment brand, as long as they are working and safe to use.
I bought the Titan fitness T3 rack this year. The upright pole is slightly bowed on one side. But it’s really not a big deal. For the price I think it’s a great buy. Then again I’m not an avid lifter who is lifting several hundred pounds. I bought their weights as well and have no issues with those either. Really like everything I have. Oh and they never forgot to send any items. So, just figured I would put that on here if anyone is looking for a cheaper rack. Maybe you’re rolling the dice but I haven’t had any issues.
Pay NO attention to Alan's Tantrums. Got my Titan X3 short 36" Rack. The packaging was ... excellent !! Assembled it. The build is ... awesome !!! To say I am impressed would be a yuuuge understatement. I will be doing a review. And YES !!! I have used Rogue, Westside etc Cages in gyms too. BUY Titan WITHOUT Hesitation. Also watch my review coming up. 🙏🙏
Having worked in steel fabrication, on the drafting/engineering side (as the drafter), I can tell you the most likley reason Rouge and other companies that fabricate steel will change materials, for example the 2" x 3" to 3" x 3" square tubing, is just simple logistics and purchasing. What can the get cheaper in greater quantity without sacrificing strength. Square tubing is by and large, more common (higher demand, and higher supply, and likely much better pricing as a result) than rectangular tubing. I'd be curious if Rogue changed the thickness along with the change in tube dimensions as well. They make great equipment, so I suspect there might be some interesting comments from their engineers about that change, but I suspect it's mostly cost.
I made the mistake of getting an adjustable titan bench for my home gym, while at first it was great, i quickly realized that the end pad (small side) was crooked, and the stress of benching made a bolt shoot out mid set. It also wobbles like crazy, and occasionally it will shift a few degrees mid set, even though I replaced the damaged bolt. The only fix for that is going through and tightening everything again. Rather unfortunate too, because the reviews for it were good.
Thx, appreciate the rawness. Will come back to review all other stuff lol besides sleds. Just got Titan FID Max bench, after reviewing all UA-cam videos, it totally kicks ass, you can go heavy without wobbles, and decline without any impingement. Best value for these reasons. I don't work for them 🙏 Stay Lifted 💪. Hit me up if you got ?'s. p.s. . Not "grippy" upholstery like REP, but nice. Feels like something at Gold's, Fitness 19, or PF. Completely sufficient. I only had 500 bones for this item. Dead lift 4ever💪🔥🏆🍻
I was about to get a rack and bench from Titan fitness, and then I saw your video 😆 Rogue it is 👍 I don’t have the time (nor your strength lol) to deal with any complications with assembly. Rogue may be pricier, but I don’t mind paying more for a better quality equipment.
Very similar experience with Titan: On my T3 rack the holes were drilled incorrectly on my uprights so when you slid the safety pins in the front they would miss the back uprights by about 3 inches. Titan was quick to send replacements though. On my sled, when I installed the arches, it would cause the sled to "three wheel" By this I mean there was always one corner that didn't touch the ground (like your rack). I spent several days swapping the arches from one side to the other, swapping the sled rails from one side to the other and then again trying the arches in different positions. I tried fitting it together loosely, then putting 8 plates on it, and slowly tightening the bolts while I stood on the corners. Nothing worked. Titan was nice enough to send 2 new arches. I tried them and got the same results. I eventually just welded the arches in place since none of the predrilled holes were correct. My axle bar - excellent Wrist roller - exellent Spotter arms - excellent Y dip bar - excellent T3 dumbbell holders - excellent Full bar jack - excellent I guess the trick is to not buy anything with more than three parts? LOL Titan claims to use UHMW plastic on their items but it seems like ABS. It certainly wears like ABS. This goes for the sled, the spotter arms, the J-cups...everything that has plastic.
There's only 2 reasons to ever use bolts and that's to save shipping or make it easier to get into a location. Welded joints are are always better/stronger. Great video btw
nor sir you can break a weld before you break a half inch great 8 bolt. Welds makes the rig more stable. ive had one single bolt hold up more than 800 pounds before bending(not breaking)
Big fan Alan! I've recently had an issue with Titan Fitness. I bought a dual pulley plate loaded pull tower from them. The price was great, but when I received it, it has been nothing but a pain. There is 1 bracket at the top to mount to a wall with nothing at the bottom, so unmodified, floor pulls or low pulls are impossible. I actually had to drill through all 4 legs and anchor it into my garage floor. Also, it came with plastic bushings that ride the rail instead of bearings, and anything less than 20lbs would stick in the middle. I had to take the carriage off and sand down the bushings...yes it is fully functional now, but at much more work than should have been needed. Titan Fitness should not sacrifice quality for the inexpensive price. Also, you have an epic beard!
I bought a Titan power rack off Amazon in 2017. It came in 2 boxes. I was easily able to assemble it (I'm a female in my 40s) and thankfully did not experience what Alan did with anything being bent. I certainly would have returned it before powering through with a sledgehammer to assemble, so kudos to him. The day after I had the rack set up, I got another box from Titan that was half of another rack. I tried to call their customer service to get them to take it back. They were not responsive. Fed Ex refused to take it back. I had this enormous heavy box on my porch for a few days before Fed Ex finally gave in and picked it up. I'm sure someone else at the same time was wondering where the other 1/2 of their rack parts was. In addition to that, the paint job is crappy and the welds are ugly. But at the time I was just trying out weightlifting and didn't want to throw down for a Rogue rack. Personally I will probably never "outgrow" the Titan rack and it works fine for me. I didn't even have to bolt it down because I don't lift very heavy weight and the plate storage at the bottom keeps it stable. But for sure the Rogue racks look a lot nicer.
Thank you for doing this review, I had been looking to buy a rack from Titian because of the price. I think now I'll just keep looking for something used.
Titan Fitness stepped up their gsme big time. Just got the x3 flat foot rack and attachments, everything in perfect order and since I'll never get back to benching the low 400's or even squats that high it's perfect for my goals.
Hey Alan, just watching this about half a year later... And I gotta tell you, the fact that you are so honest and humble to mention you bought some flawed equipment is an argument FOR joining your gym if one lives in the area. I know you kicked the bs out in a later video, but had to tell you this. If I didn't live in Germany but around your gym, I'd be a member in no time. ;)
I didn't have any major issues with my T3. One of the uprights is slightly bowed at the top, but it doesn't seem to effect it in a meaningful way. It may have been damaged in shipping, as my FedEx delivery person clearly couldn't lift the package, it was torn to pieces from being dragged. They should definitely ship it in more boxes or through a better courier. Rack is sturdy, assembly was straightforward. Took an hour or two with two people. Paint is pretty lackluster and gets worn off pretty easily. I've gotten an adjustable bench, step up platform, T-Bar handle, hex bar, and dip attachment from Titan and all were about the same experience. Fairly solid products with minor cosmetic or build quality issues. Nothing that would bother the average Joe in his garage gym, but not something I'd recommend for commercial gyms or competition lifters.
I think my rant against titan put this on my algorithm. I'm still waiting for a dumbell set I ordered in 2019. I built a ton of their racks that don't line up. I install equipment for a living. I know some other companies that are missing pieces very often. But I won't say who because my boss still gets their equipment sent to the store.
Alan as far as i know the extra upright thickness that threatens the barbell-hitting the plates (which is a real issue with real weights), comes to the INSIDE not as "equally" put if you get what i mean. However that is true for ROGUE only (i've used their Rogue Monster-Lite rack). Sorinex and other brands have wider placement which results in that nasty hitting, yes!
Have had no issues with my Titan T3 rack and I regular use weights in excess of 500 pounds. I bought multiple accessories for the rack and in the end I spent $1200 less than what I would buying rogue. Not everyone can afford to spend thousands of bucks on rogue especially when Titan gets the job done for the vast majority of lifters.
Sounds like you seriously missed the point of the video. The point was that yes it is cheaper but you run the risk of being sent defective equipment or not getting your equipment at all. So...no...it doesn't get the job done in those cases.
@@benjig859 I don't call a 6 month time span of shitty customer service, and crap manufactured non-inspected equipment a "rare case" with Alan's experience with them.
@@benjig859 it's not that rare at all. The home gym subreddit pretty much always has someone on the front page asking for assistance with dealing with Titan. There's also several reports of safety equipment failures. There are other budget companies that don't have the horrible service or horrible quality issues that Titan does.
Gym people today are so pampered. The gym I started at, the squat cage was homeade, you dident even realize it was there, it just holds barbells. Now its like owning a sports car.
I bought a Titan Fitness T-3 Power Rack for my garage gym during Black Friday last year. Super cheap and got to my house super fast. It was at my house in less than 24 hours after I ordered it. Wild. Anyway, it was a pain to put together (partly my own fault and inability to read a diagram). I eventually got it together properly but not matter how I mess with it, it's still uneven. One side always pulls towards the ground. The J-hooks do feel cheap. I haven't bolted mine down but as long as I have some weight on the storage racks it doesn't move too much. It does "walk" a bit but I can move it back into place pretty easy. And I do have to re-tighten the bolts once in a while. I don't feel like it's going to tip over...but it does feel sorta cheap and I'll occasionally have nightmares of the entire thing collapsing on me. All that being said, I have not had nearly the problems Alan had with his. Everything does fit even if it's not 100% even or sorta ugly. The only person that uses the rack is me and my wife occasionally. I think if you're getting one for personal use, you might be OK. I might have gotten lucky with mine because I have heard horror stories. I wouldn't put it past myself to sell it and get one of those Rogue racks one day though. I also have an EliteFTS adjustable bench that I used in the rack to do bench press. The safety bars in the rack fit perfectly for me.
Love Titan. Great customer service so far. Nice and friendly. Quality products. Fast shipping. I have zero issues with them in anyway. I have made like 6/7 purchases from Titan so far. Everything fit in place perfect. No parts missing. There is some extra hardware in every thing I ordered. Shit I just toss away but I’d rather them send a few extra pieces if hardware then not enough. They are a very good solid company
to this day Titan fitness is still sending Alan poles for his sleds.

I use Rogue Hooks in my Titan Rack. Work great. They didn't send me enough up-rights either. But they eventually made it right. Sent me uprights until I had a square set. Used the extra steel to weld up a full reverse hyper. So it worked out!
Thanks for the honesty and warning. I was looking at Titan for a new rack. You saved me. Sometimes you get what you pay for.
All of my home gym is from Craigslist or Goodwill....if he wants to get rid of those Titan racks I'll be happy to take them 😊

I'm certainly not above goodwill fitness equipment.
Sometimes you find good shit.

I got my Titan rack from Facebook Marketplace $100. I'm happy with it but didn't have to deal with the company like Alan.......
He’s SPOILED

Lots of really good things to think about and watch for when buying equipment that many people will never even consider until they already purchased something. Very helpful things to think about. Thanks for sharing.
USA made quality trumps cheaper Chinese made junk
Man you made me laugh so hard with the titan fitness reply. This simply shows how legit you are. Greetings from Greece, keep training untaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaamed!
Contemplated between Rogue and Titan.
Your video is appreciated...thank you.
I love this series. So glad I watched this before up grading my home gym!
Dope series especially for those looking to build a gym
I love that around fifteen minutes in you can hear Ghost playing in the background. Great choice!
The story about the sleds especially the pole part was hysterical. Reminds me of dealing with Cox Internet support lmao.
To be fair, their quality is MUCH better now
My whole garage gym is titan.
Exactly. I was saying that to Alan as he was describing his problem...... He couldn't hear me though...
I can understand shipping woes, but I didn't experience any and their shipping is free, so it's hard to complain too much even if it does take longer than expected.
great, informative video and that Number of the Beast in the background @3:46 ! keep up the fantastic work
You said 2015 and I was thinking oh okay so fairly recently and then i realized that's 4 years ago...
Thanks for the candid review. Love the Maiden in the background!

To each their own I guess.
Phil Meeks I bought my rack used and rusty from sitting in the guys backyard, but I totally get your issue.
DrewLSsix.... yeah, I’m paying $1000 for a new product. I want it to look new. I’m the kind of person that takes good care of my things, so I don’t want it to show any wear before I’ve even bolted it together.
I also have that Rep bench. It’s nice and very stable. It’s almost 90 lbs, so it’s very robust. Great choice for a FID bench.
You should expect some abuse and wear, it's a safety backup for failure in the gym. If you never scratch it, you might not be trying hard enough?
Xplora213 ... when you buy a new car do you expect it to have scratches? I spent over $1000 on the rack. I want it to look new when I take it out of the box.
Alan: Ive got soem new equipment!
Thrals: beats it with a sleedge hammer.
So, a while back I was looking at the titan fold back rack which is similar to the R-3W rack by Rogue. I talked to my brother, who runs a machine shop, about it and he told me not to trust Chinese metal. It may look good in the pictures, but you never know what you are going to get. So I got the RML-3W by Rogue and I have not once ever thought "Maybe I should have gotten the Titan."
One thing I should mention about the 3x3 construction, is that for someone who has limited space, being able to attach anything onto either the front or the sides is very nice. If I had a large space for my home gym then it wouldn't matter, but being able to attach the matador dip handles either on the side or the front is very handy.
Can't wait for the strongman equipment review, currently trying to decide which log and circus dumbbell to buy
Guessing the log is a Rogue log since I haven't seen a Slater's log. Dumbbell maybe a custom one from Beast Metals who he has talked about prior. I would like a Husafell stone for my garage gym.
27:19. Gap between safety and the rack. I am like 80% sure that’s not allowed in competition in Sweden at least
that transition at 0:21 was great, Alan!
Iron Maiden in the background is awesome awesome Channel keep up the great work big fan
I love my titan t-3 rack. Mainly because it was $180 new shipped, and got me into lifting.
Really appreciate the gym tour, Alan. Untamed Strength looks amazing. One of my dreams would be to just visit the place and this video really increases my will to do so. Have a good one, my dude!
it is easily the best power lifting gym I have worked out at and good energy too!
I made my own power rack:
1) I CAD design it
2) I bought first quality iron
3 I got a professional welder to weld it
4) I colored black and yellow
It has holes, 2 pull ups bar and it is strong as hell being 160 kg of weight....
Share the CAD file
Should of made a UA-cam video.
That's pretty cool
I'm good with cad and want to learn how to weld, but that would be way too expensive
How much was the cost? Would like to do the same with comp racks maybe.
Love that Apocryphon is playing in the background during your sled rant.
Love the Gojira sound in the back. Wish my gym had music like that...
WHAAAAAAAAALES
I foresee a lot of Titan swag it Alan's future.
"So I contacted Titan..." should be a meme.
2019 and I've been using Titan's T-3 power rack - I have zero complaints. It does it's job, looks clean, and it was super cheap.
This is probably the most positive review Titan has gotten in a a while.
"We got some new equipment guys!! (hits with sledgehammer)" LOL
Love the channel. I’ll be purchasing equipment from Rogue this week to outfit my garage into a home gym. Watching from Chico ca. 🤙🏼🤘🏼
Nice to hear Ghost in the background!
I was about to get a rack and bench from Titan fitness, and then I saw your video 😆 Rogue it is 👍 I don’t have the time (nor your strength lol) to deal with any complications with assembly. Rogue may be pricier, but I don’t mind paying more for a better quality equipment.
I learned a lot today with your reviews. Thank you for sharing Alan!
Very similar experience with Titan:
On my T3 rack the holes were drilled incorrectly on my uprights so when you slid the safety pins in the front they would miss the back uprights by about 3 inches.
My axle bar - excellent
Wrist roller - exellent
Spotter arms - excellent
Y dip bar - excellent
T3 dumbbell holders - excellent
Full bar jack - excellent
I guess the trick is to not buy anything with more than three parts? LOL
Titan claims to use UHMW plastic on their items but it seems like ABS.
Mastodon, Maiden, and Gojira? Alan’s music taste is always impeccable
And Sabbath
Nick On any idea what the Sabbath song is @22:30
I bought a Titan power rack off Amazon in 2017.
You just earned youself a subscriber. Great content.
This video raised me blood pressure I hate companies that pull that crap
Thank you for doing this review, I had been looking to buy a rack from Titian because of the price. I think now I'll just keep looking for something used.
Love the sound of Iron Maiden in a gym!

If I didn't live in Germany but around your gym, I'd be a member in no time. ;)
agree with the 3x3 vs 2x3... I'm one of the guys that bumps the rack when walking out
I didn't have any major issues with my T3.
Digging the Maiden playing in the back ground.
Alan repping Powertrip merch. Love it.
I wanted a Lamborghini but could only afford a ford Fiesta

Ordered a rack and a ton of attachments for my home gym from titan. Everything came fast and easily assembled. Cheaper than buying on Craigslist.
I don't get people's fascination with Craig's List. Everything I see in there is worse than burning garbage.
Pheonix2022 in those rare cases yes. I, and many like me, have order a ton of their equipment with no issues. To each his own
@@benjig859 I don't call a 6 month time span of shitty customer service, and crap manufactured non-inspected equipment a "rare case" with Alan's experience with them.
Pheonix2022 sounds like you don’t understand risk. Do we have actual numbers of sales to issues?
Did you hand tighten it first? I heard someone else say to hand tighten it first and then go back with power tools.
Razziez I just hand tightened the whole thing with a ratchet
@@professors84 sounds like another got past quality control again then.
Bolt it down dude
Sounds like you should start making your own brand of gym equipment! It would probably be some high quality shit
