I absolutely feel the same way.. I grew up in Durban, South Africa and the Indian Ocean. I have lived in Louisiana for the past 20 years.. near swamps and muddy rivers. They’re cool but nowhere near the majestic, power and energy one gets from the sea. I miss the ocean.
God made us to love certain things especially. It’s wonderful to hear how you love the sea the same way I love my lakes and streams. I wonder if people from the scrub feel the same way.
I could swim before I could walk, water is life for me. Ended up a scuba instructor after the military. I feel like a part of me is missing when I'm on land.
My father was on aircraft carriers in the navy for 23 years, 13 of my life and at the age of 22 .I.Left Jacksonville, Florida to Atlanta and my life was completely out of control until I got back down to the coast of Florida.I know what you mean brother.
