In this Thailand Travel Vlog we spent the day in Ari, Bangkok! Ari is one of our favorite neighborhoods in Bangkok! It's an up and coming trendy area with lots of cute, hipster type cafes and restaurants as well as local markets. We visited one of the dog cafes in Ari, Dog in Town, and absolutely LOVED IT!!! While Bangkok isn't a very dog friendly city, dog cafes are so much fun to go to for the day and get a dog fix!
Dog in Town also has a dog poo shaped brownie 🥴 I'll let you guess which one of us wanted to try that! Although it was surprisingly very good!!
Before we arrived at the dog cafe, we ate at Mama Pasta! Mama Pasta is our favorite pasta in Bangkok! It's cheap and soo good. The Ari location is also in a really cute little space with lots of other little stores and photo ops.

High top view temple, Wat Phu Khao Thong@central Bangkok, it is one of good place for visiting.
Hmm where is it in the center?! I looked up Wat Phu Khao Thong but it shows a temple close to Ayutthaya!

Another place to add to my list of where to go when I'm over. So many big fluffy dogs, but thin I'll give the poo brownie a miss - just too realistic looking. I know S.Korea has dog cafes and poo cafes but the stuff you see doesn't look as bad - more emoji style.
I think there's another animal cafe in Bangkok but not sure what mall it was next to
I really had no desire to go to a poo cafe in either Thailand or Korea 🤣 but.....there just happened to be that poo brownie at the dog cafe and yeah lol. Your Bangkok list is going to be soo big!!! We've been here over 6 months and our list is STILL huge!!

There are a lot of husky cafe and cat cafe in BKK. Maid cafe is also good here.

I think I watched a vid about going to the maid cafe - I'd say it was Japenese themed and the customers get cat ears- if its the same place I'm thinking of
Yes there are a lot here and some of them have a lot a lot of dogs like the Dog country Cafe where they have more than 300+ Dogs(30+ breeds) and 30+ Cats(10+ breeds) and it's only 199 baht with free drink too.

We love themed cafes! There are soo many cute cafes in Nakhon Pathom! I just wish they were easier to get to from Bangkok!

1) Go to Bang Sue Grand Station
2) Go to Taling Chan (ตลิ่งชัน ) station by electric train (35 baht/person / 30 mins)
3) At Taling Chan station, buy a ticket to Nakhon Pathom (Diesel engine train / 20 baht/person / 55 mins)

I need to work up the courage to try a poo-shaped brownie. It's amusing to see Carles sniff the brownie before biting into it. The puppies are soooo cute.

There are a lot of dogs in Thailand my friend nearly every houses have dogs and cats, but most Bangkok people who have a single houses they live in a Soi or Private residents or private villages and you couldn't see their house easy if you not go in to their Village or Soi and most of them do not let other people go inside if do not have a permission just some of them that their Soi already been used to be a shortcuts street then you could see their houses, and when they walked with their dogs they do not need to bring their dogs to walk in public places only small dogs you could see outside and not that rude to bring them anywhere with you. not like some people live beside the river or beside the railways or some place that many foreigner could walk into their places very easy and I have to say those people are not how Bangkok people lived like many foreigners thought my friend, those people live there illegally.
And the dogs and cats cafe just in Bangkok are a lot too, I guess there are more than 30+ places because just only the recommended dog cafe to go on internet there are already 10 places.
And some place has more than 300+ dogs(over 30 Dog breeds) plus 30+ cats(over 10 Cat breeds) like Dog country cafe and the price just 199 baht with free drinks.
I forgot to tell you guys that Thailand even have our own unique 2 dogs breeds that's really famous worldwide.
1. Thai Ridge Back Dog: that's just won the first prize at the World dogs show in 2016 or 2018(not sure).
2. Thai Bangkaew Dog: this dog breed originated from the Wolf and the Thai dog and it's has really unique wolf behaviors like very aggressive and really love only thier owners and that's made this breed the main rare unique dog breeds and Thai Bangkaew community brought this dog breed to show to the people eyes at the European Dogs Show in 2017 and Bangkaew dog did won the first prize at European dogs show in 2017 and made this breed very popular worldwide.
I've always wondered where people walk their dogs here because all the parks we've been to have signs saying no pets allowed! This dog cafe is the only pet cafe we've been to in Thailand! We've been been to some in Korea and I saw a lot in Japan! I guess we'll have to go to some more sometime ^_^ Also that's really cool about the two Thai dog breeds! I haven't heard of either of those! 😱
@@NataliesPassport yes, like I told you guys most Bangkok people live in Soi Or in Residents village and there are a lot of place for their dogs and cats and no need to bring their dog outside and here most of the place is concrete jungle it's really rude to bring your dog outside and poo in public because there are no grass a lot. Lol only litlle dog is just ok to bring outside.
@@NataliesPassport yes, a lot of foreigners dogs community came here to search for a beautiful rare dogs here and bring home and sell in Europe very very expensive and there are a lot required if you want to breeds Thai dogs in Europe. Here there are countless in front of 7-11. Lol
