I’ve listened to both versions by Elvis and Tom Jones so many times just so I can be sure of myself before posting “my” opinion, so here it goes. Elvis sang this song great, no denying that. However, Tom Jones in “my” opinion sang it with more heart and soul. There are different videos of Tom Jones singing this song, and if anyone listens to the one where he’s probably in his 30-40’s maybe someone might also hear what I heard. Just the way Tom Jones made his voice as though he truly felt like he’d never fall in love again, and heartbroken. Ok that’s what I thought lol. Happy you tubing..
