Nice video sir, just what I was looking for! 😁 Do you think as an adult or in any age for that matter that it is possible to gain some significant size on the mandible by chewing hard gum maybe lots of it if you have receding and narrow mandible with a history of chewing very little and soft food? Assuming nutrition is on point and genetic potential is far from reached?. Pls answer I'm very curious. Thanks in advance 👍
Thanks for the feedback. Regarding your query, theoretically it is possible but practically it is questionable becoz chewing gum for a long time would only lead to increase in size of the muscular markings on the mandible...that is my opinion.
@@AnatomyClassesbyDrSushant Thanks for the answer. I find it hard to make sense, since what you said in the video didn't imply that at all and but more that it is actually a possibility, therefor I will ask you to elaborate, if you would be so kind. Thanks in advance. Btw if you would like a could link to some sources that suggest it is possible to change it but cause(s) is/are unclear
@@AnatomyClassesbyDrSushant thankyou sir for this update... i am new in this field so don't know much about these topics.. while studying i have lot of confusion about s.menti but still i don't find why we call this as a misnomer. which anatomy book is good for 1st year medical studnet. Hi,do mandible remodel to its original shape after healing from a fracture and if it does how long does it take?
Yes it will but it depends on various factors like proper realignment after fracture and nutrition.
@@AnatomyClassesbyDrSushant can I send you some X-rays and 3d X-rays?
@@AnatomyClassesbyDrSushant I sent you on your Instagram
