Great video of Lancaster. It is a lovely city and thanks for showing me round the park. I love that monument in the park. You can see it from the M6 motorway and I always Wondered what It looks like up close. It is magnificent piece of architecture. It reminds me of the Sacre Coeur in Paris with the dome , the colour of the building and steps up to it. Thank you for sharing. I will explore Lancaster more the next time I am there.
Excellent vlog as always, really enjoyed it and thank you for including the Ashton memorial, I always wondered what that building was when I’ve seen it from the M6👍Looks like a fab day out in a beautiful city the only thing missing was Kylie on the monkey bars😜
Enjoyable video to watch. Glad you enjoyed my home city of Lancaster. It's a city with plenty of history and culture as well as former railway lines. It's a friendly city as well. And I'm a railway enthusiast and work in the rail industry.
Glad you enjoyed it, it's a lovely place shame about the weather. You were right outside my house when you filmed Carlisle bridge. Its great house when you like trains I get to see all-sorts though my windows.
I’ve only been to Lancaster a few times to change trains but a proper visit is definitely on the agenda for me in 2021 😊 another spec-bloody-tacular video as always G! 😎
Great vid! I grew up in lancaster so it's certainly a great reminder of how special it truly is, you get used to these these things when you live right by them. I honestly think the place is the prettiest in the rain so it was definitley worth the wet feet. May I suggest taking the number 18 bus up the hill to the park entrance next time, that hill is killer (we don't develop really strong legs, we just take the bus lol)
I shared to the Lancaster past and present page! Some comments: Absolutely wonderful - love the passion and energy here / Aww that was brilliant😁👍 just love my town Lancaster thanks for showing it off to the World. 😁💕/ Brilliant! Thank you ..lots of excellent memories
I don't know what to say! Another cracking vid G. Absolutely enjoyed it. I was shocked when it got to the monument in the park (jaw dropping). It looked outstanding! Never been to Lancaster but I have to say I think it's quite similar to Sheffield (all hilly) plus some cracking views of the city too. It looks like it could be the best one so far. 👏😁
Awesome vlog Georgia!! It's always a risk changing up the content on your channel, but you nailed it! I love that you kept your quirky style. No matter how good or crap the day has been, your vids always leave me with a smile on my face. Looking forward to the next 'A Day Out In...' vid in the series :)
Another wonderfully informative and fun vlog Georgia (one of these days the Sun is going to make an appearance !!) as ever looking forward to the next one
Brilliant vlog i did lancaster in 2017 combined with morecombe in one day its a beautiful city lancaster the best thing is its only the next stop north of preston on the train i personly like to see more of this as this would be more inspiring and give me more ideas for when i next come up north which will be next year as long as covid dosnt stop me but it stoped me this year and next year i need to do more exploring as i didnt do much this year due to covid
@@GLovesTrains ill have to see hopefully when ii come up north ive got loads i want to cover some which i wanted to do this year but will see if lancaster will be on the list but it will def be on a future visit up north
Have only ever whizzed past Lancaster on the M6 and/or stopped there on a train on my way to somewhere else. Might have to actually get off and have a quick look around next time I'm on my travels. Another belting video by the way.
Great vlog Georgia, I had no idea Lancaster was so wonderful. G visits is a great vlog series. A return to Poynton one day , and my home city of Chester. Wait until you get to Hebden Bridge 😉. Keep up the great work 👍
This was brilliant indeed! and yes the walk to the town centre is quite hilly! because I did had a walk in Lancaster last November because I wanted to see something which is close to the bridge at 7:03 and that was a site of a disused Railway Station... If you don't get to 1K before this video goes out... pretty sure this vlog will break the door down at 1K Subs! and also Squishy Babies! :p
What a fantastic video G, Lancaster looks fab, in fact I’m gonna get myself up there as soon as I can! Another place I want to visit out that way is Garstang! I wonder if they have a train station? Could be a good place for your next travel blog 👍👍
Very interesting video and its clear that you have put in a lot of effort. Let us know if you are interested in some feedback. An overall Good job , keep them coming 😁.
Love the video, but I'm biased as I live in this exciting city. Pleased you really liked the Ashton Memorial, my 6yo grand-daughter especially loves it as the stairs up to it remind her of the castle in the latest Cinderella film (she calls it 'Lucy's castle'!)
Lancaster is actually the main city of Lancashire, hence, York is the Main city of Yorkshire. And yes, the earth IS round! Here's a better name! Overcaster!
Ah, the irony in your song choice Georgia sorry I mean Sweaty Betty love it! Some lovely sights oop norf.....but I dont venture outside the M25 haha....so get yerself down here sometime G!
Looks rather different from the Lancaster, Pennsylvania I've been through. I admit, I rather like this different video format - Rick Steves would be proud. A bit of feedback, however: The music is a bit loud and/or the bits where you're talking are a bit quiet. When the video cuts straight from music to you talking, it can be difficult to hear you.
Also, I recommend going on the Cumbrian coast line from Lancaster-Carlisle via Barrow & Workington
Great vlog about Lancaster. It looks a lovely place to visit. I really enjoyed it watching.
It is indeed! Thankyou!
brilliant description of a much loved city IMHO
My hometown, pity it was chucking it down, Willy Bob is beautiful on a sunny day

Lancaster is an amazing city. I spent the best part of 12 months there in a house where the garden bordered the WCML. Once again, a great vlog!
