I own three sets of beta power 9, I played magic the gathering since 1994. I’d never sell that, unless I saw valuing dropping, which hasn’t happened. Flesh and blood is my go to game now, however, but I’m not selling a pioneering “lightning in a bottle” collectible, over a new game. It’s just not the same IMO. As far as game play FAB is amazing. but I’m not seeing it as a long term multi decade investment like old Magic the gathering is.
Same, I would never trade vintage mtg (let alone power 9!) for FAB. Not hating on FAB. I love FAB. I collect FAB singles and sealed product. But MTG is king, sorry.
@@urbano999 It’s not just that magic is king, it’s that its history is special. Those powerful, rare cards, pioneered this enter way of gaming. FAB is an amazing game, I love it, but it’s not a pioneering product that started an entire gaming culture. Magic is. And that’s why 20-30 years from now, I doubt FAB cards will be as valuable, it just doesn’t have the same place in history. And historical achievements are what makes things valuable.
Whoah, insane trade! It'll be interesting to see who ultimately got the best deal from this trade over the next decade. I suspect Saint made out like a bandit!🤑
Magic the gathering, will be way more valuable than flesh and blood in ten years. Sorry to inform you, but magic was lightning in a bottle, all others are just trying to jump on the fame. Flesh and blood is an amazing game, but I don’t see it as a long term investment, like I do with my power 9 and dual land sets.
I’d never sell my three sets of power 9 and beta duals for a new game, that just seems irresponsible to me. Flesh and blood is my favorite tcg to play, but I don’t see it as a long term investment, especially with all the reprinting. Magic the gathering was literally magical in 93-94( that’s when I started playing), and new games just aren’t going to capture that, ever again. But, I will say I enjoy flesh and blood as a playing game, these days. It’s very balanced.
I never would have traded unlimited power 9 for same value of FAB. Never. I love FAB, I collect FAB singles and sealed product. But MTG is king, specially vintage POWER!
Quite the deal! And just hours after release the president of WotC and Hasbro gaming, Cynthia W. quits. Sure you didn't push her out like "now that Saint gets out of Magic, maybe I should too"? 😀 Have fun adding these binders or their content to your collection, this will be some good moments to dig through them and look at these beauties.
Man I didn't know that magnolia was still doing that box, I would have tried to send someone some money to grab one up, so cool.

"half a million players" ~20:40 Saint dropping some alpha at the end of this video to those paying attention

Hey saint, need an honest opinion... which is more valuable ? BGS 10 (not Black label) or PSA 10... thanks
I traded a 1968 impala for an alpha case and a deck lol
I looked it up, that is a nice looking car. I don't think I'd be able to make that trade. Unless you had a "project car".
@@joemacallister7561 it drove away that’s how bad I wanted to get into fab and the only way I could get alpha
@@jackdeth1969 sounds like you got the better end of the deal then. Nice one man
Jus good business 💪🏽
I just rewatched Rudy's PWCC shill bidding video and your Fraud Exposed video. You should have done this trade in a Whole Foods parking lot. 😄
Lovely trade, seeing all those binders together is *chefs kiss*
