Great video. I've always wanted to see "Behind Blue Eyes" used with one of the Char Clones. Your editing was perfect, and I think you really captured Zechs personality. A really good job!
The fact that you edited more in the second half definitely brings out that part of the song and the thoughts being expressed. I love it! Being a vid maker myself I entirely understand how difficult it is to get exactly what you want. I have loved this vid since I first saw it, and Zechs is a favorite character of mine in Gundam Wing. He's just awesome and so is this video!
I don't mean Char Clone in a derogatory way at all. It's just a generic term for the veritable legion of blonde, blue-eyed, masked villains who populate Gundam. Many have radically different personalities and backstories from Char (Le Creuset springs to mind). Of the ones I've seen Zechs is probably the one who sticks closest to Char's backstory, but even there his personality isn't the same at all.
I've not managed to start watching 00, wing and 8th ms team were my starters when toonami was airing them. but I'm the kind of person who likes to learn things inside out, so that broadened the herizons.
I would guess because of how many Gundams each starts with and that most of them havent watched UC era so they dismis it based on age I'm sure the 00 fans will be into the fray soon too.
Oh the 00 fans are already in the fray. I just didn't mention them because they tend to side with the Wing fans in arguments with Seed fans. Then again, they were probably Wing fans to start with. I've yet to meet somebody for whom 00 was their first Gundam show.
if this is a small tribute i would love to see a large tribute not to mention this has been in my favs for almost a year now if not a year loved the video sorry for the late comment
I know what you mean about the rivalries. It seems especially bitter between Wing and Seed fans. What is the point of that? Either a show was good or it wasn't. Why compare it to others?

"char clone" ouch.. Granted some key simalurities they've also key diferences. but I agree it's a good video.
that was a great vid although I think I prefered the original version done by The Who I thought the imagry was great
