03:40 These scrambled pancakes originate from an Austrian dish called "Kaiserschmarrn", which is made from flower, sugar, milk, eggs, sugar and a pinch of salt. They also put raisins in it, but you can also do it without them.
You let the underside of the pancake get hard, and then you take two spatulas and kinda rip it apart. You can sprinkle some powedered sugar on top and eat it with applesauce, stewed plums or cherries.
The word "Kaiserschmarrn" means emperor's nonsense. Schmarrn/nonsense... because the pancake ripped and that's nothing you should serve an emperor. Or something like that. XD
True! In Bavaria ( Germany ) we also eat Kaiserschmarrn
