Lovely video. My Great Grandparents both worked at the Hall in the mid 1800’s; my GGran in the kitchens and GGrandad as a gardener. They left the Hall when they got married (as was the custom in those days) and took the Cock Inn, Bartley Green where my Grandad Jones was born and bred. Good Black Country stock here!
It's a lovely place. So peaceful. I really enjoyed my day exploring the grounds. Thanks for sharing that little bit of your family history. Very interesting! Thanks for watching and for your nice comment. Adam :)
I was quite fascinated that someone had partial ruins built on the property &gardens area. There was much detail in the ruins as if they were actual ruins. My absolute favorite part of the gardens was the “Paladial Bridge.” It was truly stunning! The 3 small “bldgs” (for lack of a better word) that no longer exist, I really found the quote to be thought provoking & truly interesting. It seemed to me that when u sat in that one, & was looking out @ the beautiful expanse of the gardens, that they wanted the person to realize the fragility of life & to place importance where it belongs. Thank u, again, Adam, for this video. U don’t realize how much they truly mean to me. Take care. 😉
Thanks Tina. I'm really glad and humbled that you are getting so much from the videos. This is actually personally one of the very favourite videos that I've done and that I found the research about most interesting. There are so many of these hidden gem places around with such interesting histories and I enjoy trying to get people to come along for the ride with me. Thanks for your encouragement to keep on doing the videos. Much appreciated, Adam :)
Hello! Yes, it's open to the public. You do have to pay to enter though, as it's private. Great place for an afternoon out though. I would highly recommend it. Adam :)
Hey Adam :) That makes sense, thank you for the response! I'm canadian, but I'm planning a trip to England & this is an area I'd like to check out, so it was great seeing the area in your video :)
@@emilymae9465 Well, I hope you have a great trip. If you're in the general area, have a look at Witley Court too, which is a ruined old mansion. Quite an interesting place! All the best, Adam :)
@AdamExploresBritain Thanks, Adam! I'm really looking forward to exploring your beautiful country :) I'll definitely check out Witley Court, the old architecture is one of my favorite things about Europe in general, so thanks for that. It seems like you know lots about the history of these places too, which is awesome, so I'll definitely check out more of your videos! All the best to you too :)

Beautiful area! Clearly the areas that are fenced off are private, but is the path you walked open to the public?
