Over half of my real estate sales are homes built before 1978. This really is applicable to our business.
It is really a large part of the everyday things we as agents have to deal with. The penalties for noncompliance is extremely hefty for sure! Thank you, Stephanie!
Almost all of my transactions are pre-1978. In my town we have little new construction going on. I deal with lead paint issues all the time.

if you had no lead paint you would need documents proving negative tests AND give them the EPA pamphlet even though you have no lead paint?
Yes, if the home was built pre 1978... There is a process where through a series of testing and removal that an owner can have a property designated "lead-free... then disclosure and pamphlets are no longer required. It can be costly
